The House
Guardians Of Lemorian (EXO fanfic) | Editting"Did I say something wrong?" Luhan said, concerned.
"No. She's just not used to so many people at once. She's shy, really." Eunhye crossed the room to sit among them. "She'll be back later. Now, help yourselves to some food. It's not everyday we get visitors."
"I thought you welcome transfers like this," Suho said, taking the initiative to be the first one to reach for the seasoned chicken.
"We don't really get that much transfers," Eunhye replied.
When Suho made the first move for the plates, the others followed suit. Chen took five plates and distributed them to the ones nearest him, saying their name in enumeration. "Lay. Kris. Tao. Xiumin. Luhan. Oh, Baekhyun, give me one more plate."
"Here," Baekhyun obliged. "Eunhye, I was telling Tao about the chandelier ghost."
"That again?" Kris grumbled. "You're just hungry Baekhyun. Just eat."
Chanyeol was out and about. He was looking at some electronic set and out of curiosity pushed a button. The room was blasted with a loud music, everyone of them covered their ears except Heejin. Even Gaeil, who was silently making her way back to the lounge room yelped.
"Oops," Chanyeol said, fiddling with some dial, only making it louder. Heejin went over and turned the volume down, and soon a throaty metallic song can be heard.
"What's a party without music, eh?" Heejin said. "Was this Heeseon-unnie's?" She looked at a CD case with the label Avenged Sevenfold. "Yeah. That can happen."
"I wasn't fast enough," Gaeil muttered to Eunhye. "I was about to stop it because I just Saw him turning it on. Sorry."
"It's not your fault that he's a walking disaster," she told Gaeil.
"Aw. He's not that bad."
"You're right," Eunhye said, helping herself with some pizza. "He can be worse."
They chattered with the twelve boys. Soon, they were comfortable with each other. Even Eunhye occassionally laugh at Chanyeol's jokes (and some jokes only she can hear). Gaeil soon felt comfortable as well. It may not look like it, but she's the one with social issues and not Eunhye. Her elder sister always knows the exact word to say, because of her telepathic advantage. The only problem is the students are scared of her.
"Oh, I just remembered," Gaeil said. "There was icecream in the fridge."
"I'll go get it," Kai volunteered.
"Wow," Chanyeol said. "The kitchen's pretty far, you know. You'll get tired."
"He just wants the first scoop," Baekhyun said.
"Shut up," Kai said and went ahead. "Uhoh. I forgot to ask where to go."
Eunhye was already ahead of him on this. Silently and without breaking conversation with Lay and Chen, she guided Kai through the house, making him believe he was just making the right guesses. Kai looked around at the pantry. It was almost as big as their room back in Betelguese. He went over to the freezer beside the fridge and opened it.
Talk about ice cream. The freezer was full of it! He looked at the freezer door, and it did have a label ICE CREAM.
"Looks like someone's hoarding," he muttered. He studied the flavors and took out three.
"WHO dare touches my ice cream?!"
Back at the lounge, Eunhye choked on her milkshake and Gaeil muttered, "Oops," amidst her conversation with Suho about Prefect privileges.
Surprised, Kai who was already holding on to three gallon-full containers disappeared in thin air and materialized behind the couch.
"Someone just appeared in the kitchen!" he said, panting. Tao went pale.
Gaeil was laughing and a shriek can be heard from the pantry.
"Here it comes," Gaeil said.
"You did this on purpose," Eunhye said to her.
"EUNHYE!!!"
"Yeah, Welcome home," Eunhye muttered, rising from her very comfortable loveseat. She was sitting alone, though.
"Who is that?" Xiumin asked Chanyeol whose eyes grew big at the sound.
"The third Prefect,"
