Hotel Scares
He May Be the OneI wave to the taxi driver. ‘Here I am. What should I do?’ I ask myself as I start walking to the hotel. ‘Did he notice me?’
I walk in and I find the hotel owner in the lobby. “Aeygo! There you are! You made me worry!” he said to me.
“MOR RI!!” the hotel owner’s wife screams as she runs towards me and embraces me. “I am so sorry! I knew this stupid man would be up to no good!” She glares at her husband.
“Um it’s okay,” I said, “What is going on?”
“Tell her. Now!” she demands while continuing to glare at her husband.
“I…I might have already known that …they…were here,” he confesses.
“What?” I say in shocked.
“The day you came…the day he came…was the same day. I did not plan this! …But then again I did not do anything about it…I’m sorry…I tried to play cupid and I failed,” he confessed.
I take a minute to take it all in. “It’s okay.” I think for a moment longer. “I’m not leaving. I forgive you. I am not upset.” I finally say. I walk away from him.
“See she is upset,” the hotel owner’s wife says angrily.
“Maybe I shouldn’t have done it,” the hotel owner says in sadness.
