i already this old. i hate it when i realize that i'm getting older. it can't be. this year, i already 23 years old. 24 years old in Korean age. I already graduated from college a year ago. officially an architect. architecture it's a whole new world for me.

"oppa..."

"mmm..."

"oppa..."

"yunhyeong oppa!"

"why why why..."

"look at me!"

"why why why?! why I must look at you? where's your manner? I'm older than you! aish this girl nowadays..."

"buy me food..."

"buy it yourself..."

"why?"

"WHY?! you ask me why? go away! aish..."

 

I just laughing about it. he's song yunhyeong oppa, my senior in my college. he's from korea too! I'm happy that I met someone from korea here. he took the same major with me. I'm grateful that I meet him in my first semester. he helps me a lot. eventho I often like I did before.

I'm with him right now, eventho we are in the middle of work. we are in the meeting room after have a meeting for next project. for me, I'm lazy enough too walk to my place and I ask yunhyeong oppa to accompany me. he's too kind. he sit opposite me.

 

we met one day in library at our college around 5 years ago. when I try to found  some books for my task, but it's really hard to find it. I curse myself in Korean language so no one will understand me.

"annyeong haseyo!"

I scared, cause there was someone greet me behind my back. I was so scare to look behind me.

"I understand what are you saying before, why you curse so hard like that? try finding a book? maybe I can help you..."

I stay still. not even have a gut to look behind me. I can't even feel my own legs.

"I'm song yunhyeong, what's your name? are you new here?"

I take a peek how he's look like. but, wow.....he's really handsome!

"ah...you're so beautiful! why don't you look at me before? see? I'm not that scary right?"

"yeah...you're so handsome..." he's indeed too confident.

"see? hahahaha what's your name?"

"my name is lee hayi...I'm new here..."

"hi, hayi-ssi! I'm one year above you here. can I just call you hayi? you can call me oppa instead. once again, I'm song yunhyeong..."

"annyeong haseyo, sunbaenim..."

"aish..oppa, not sunbaenim it's sound too old for me..."

 

after that we became more close to each other. we weren't meet so often back then but he always help me when I got a difficult task. he even help me with my final project before I graduated, but I help him with his final project too.

after he graduated from college he became more busy, cause he made his own business with his friends. he make a company that running on architecture and interior design. so I must survive, did my task alone eventho it's soooo difficult. but he sometime, so sudden, came to my house to help me.

after I graduated I join yunhyeong oppa's team on his company. he offered me and I directly accept it. and it's already a year I work here.

 

"oppa, what are you doing last month?"

"last month?"

"you were back to Korea right? for......1 month?"

"ah...my friend ask me to build him a house. so I met my friend, talk about his concept about his dream house, then I gave him the design after that when he like it we start build it. it's already 80% now. he will married soon, and he really want that before his marriage the house is ready to live. it's so hurry, it caused me to stay longer in Korea. so, I will back to Korea again next month to see his house..."

"how I wish I could come to Korea too..."

"ask your parents...you can stay on my parents house when you stay in Korea if you want..."

"mmm...but i still don't wanna back there..."

"hhhh old pain. girl nowadays. moving on, girl..."

"what are you saying?!"

"no no no"

of course, he knows about my love life back then but he never ask me so details. he's care but not care, a kind of man like that. so I really like to tell all of my story to him.

I work from 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. and it's already 5 in the afternoon. I packing up my things and wanna picking up my bag on my place.

"oppa, I'm going home now..."

"okay. wanna wait for me? a few minutes. to walk you home?"

"no need to do that, I can going home by myself..."

"okay, I'll come to your house soon to meet your parents okay? it's been a long time, right?"

"okay! bye!"

I close the meeting room, and going to my place. packing up my things once again, and immediately going home.

I wanna stay up all night, cause tomorrow is Saturday and all of my work already done. I wanna enjoy my me-time. I choose to watch Korean drama. when I feel like missing korea, I choose to watch drama or their variety show.

I really wanna back to Korea. I just want to. without even meet somebody. well, yeah...hanbin and chanhyuk it's okay, jiwon too. it's already 5 years tho I already not feel anything when I think jiwon too. it's a fact that I already move on. but, I still not ready to meet them yet. maybe it's still not a perfect time now to meet them, but someday I will meet them.

 

"hayi-ya wake up..."

my mum knock my door suddenly. it's already morning? the sun shine so bright, I can see it a glimpse eventho my window covered by the curtain

"it's saturday, mum. it's my time to wake up late. you know? it's holiday..."

"I know, darling. but yunhyeong is here..."

"huh? really?!"

"yeah, he wait downstairs. he's talking with your dad now..."

"okay, I'm going to continue to sleep again..."

"ya! aish this girl where's your manner, huh? wake up you sleepyhead!"

"okay, mum. okay, ten minutes again..."

"I'll wait downstairs, okay?"

"ooookaaaayyyyy"

i can hear my mum's footstep disappeared from outside my room. I beg mum already at downstairs. too lazy to wake up from bed. it's freaking Saturday...why yunhyeong oppa whyyyyyyy????? I sleep freaking 4 in the dawn...

I walk to my toilet to wash my face, to brush my teeth, and spray perfume a bit. after that I walk downstairs to meet my parents and yunhyeong oppa.

"oppa!" I call him from the stairs.

"our baby hayi!" so cheesy to call me that. act kind to me in front my parents. not cool oppa.

I walk toward him, and pick up a cushion on sofa.

"it's freaking Saturday! why you here right now?! it's still 9 in the morning! it's too early for me to wake up in Saturday!" I hit him with the cushion more and more.

"ya! stop it!"

"darling, where's your manner?" my mum suddenly call me, reminding me where's my manner. again.

"you! sleepyhead! how will you be a good wife when you still wake up late in your 23 years old? huh? answer me, girl?" yunhyeong oppa ask me that question? really? what the heck on his brain?

"what are you saying oppa? it's still a long way to go for me. I'm still freaking young..."

"who knows..." I hit him again. what a nonsense topic to start in the early morning.

"okay okay. yunhyeong-ah, have you eat breakfast?" my mum try to break the cold conversation between me and yunhyeong oppa.

"it's my purpose to come here, aunt-"

"where's your manner, oppa?"

"what?! aish this girl!" what? he doesn't like my question?

"hayi-ya, yunhyeong oppa someday will be our family too. it's okay yunhyeong-ah, aunt already cooked a really delicious food for breakfast. let's go!" mum your so kind, mum. you're the best!
