Chapter 8
Game Plan
I sighed. "Gosh. Stop saying that. Ok, you know what, I know. I know you're lying. There's no such thing as witches. So, stop making things up. I'm sick of it."
Min-ah frowned. "But I'm not making things up. He is a witch. What are you talking about? Just because you haven't met one doesn't mean witches don't exist."
"Are you still on it? Hyo Joo said that witches are extinct. So whatever it is you are planning to do with me, don't even think of it."
Min-ah rolled her eyes irritatedly. "You know what? I don't even know why I stopped hating you. So what if you're a vampire? Seriously. I'm sure there's many more out there. I don't need your help anymore. I'm trying to be friends with you, and now what? You're acting like I owe you a million dollars. So from now on, don't act like you know me. And maybe you should find out why that Hyo Joo of yours lied to you."
Min-ah's POV

"If you keep doing that, my Min-ah's going to really get stupid." The voice caused my head to jerk.
"Oh. Halabeoji, you're here. But.. if I say I just found a vampire, but I lost him... you'll be mad, right..? How are we going to find them like this.." I pouted, not wanting to mention them as my parents. I had no such parents.
But to my surprise, my grandfather just leaned against the wall casually and took another swig of his beer. "You mean your boyfriend?"
"Ani! He's not my boyfriend."
Grandfather continued on like I haven't said a word. "He's not a vampire. He probably didn't tell you that's he's a werewolf because he's scared you'll bite him. So don't bite him, ok? Please don't bite him. He'll die." He suddenly reached forward and grabbed my hands.
"H-he's a werewolf?" I gasped.
I felt my grandfather's hands. "But halabeoji's hands never lie," I whispered.
