I entered the hall, made sure there was no one there, and slipped in. I smiled as I sat on the seat infront of the piano, next to the stage.

Although in plays, like in my old school, the person playing the piano wouldn't be given the spotlight, I always felt that they are as important as those on stage. In fact, I find that the crews working backstage are more important. Without them, a drama wouldn't have the right feelings or mood.

I lifted my finger, and tried to play the simplest song that the teacher recommended, but I just couldn't.

"Arrgh.." I started pressing the keys hard, frustrated at my inability. 5 years. 5 years I had practised, and all my hard work had gone down the drain just because I hadn't practised for 3 years.

"You're going to spoil the piano like that," A familiar voice shot me straight up, and I ran to hide behind the piano.

"Hahahha! You're funny. I already saw you, so there's no point hiding." A sweet sounding laughter filled the hall.

I sighed and got up. "Please don't tell on me. I really didn't mean to do that to the piano.." But my eyes widened when I realised the voice belonged to Min-ah. "M-min-ah!"

She smiled when she saw my reaction. "Your playing is ho-rri-ble. Why do you even want to play the piano?"

"Shut up," I growled, taking my seat. "You don't even know anything. I bet you don't even know what a piano is."

"Not really." She sat on the seat, pushing me to the far end of the chair.

She started playing the piano like nobody's bussiness, and I expected wierd noises to come out, but the beautiful notes of Les Derniers Jours D'Anastasia filled the hall. I looked at her swift and smooth fingers playing the notes, and I could almost feel every emotion coming from the song.
