Your mother's POV

„Honey, I'm home!“, I shouted just to make sure she heard me, in case she still was in tears. But no answer came. I stood still and listened for a few seconds but there weren't any noises. Was she still here? But otherwise she would've locked the door and left me a note or even texted me. What if she hurt herself? Oh my gosh, I had to look after her immediately.

„Honey!? Are you there?“ I rushed upstairs and was about to burst into her room as I heard silent laughters. Relief overcome me as I realized she was at home and she was not crying anymore. But she also wasn't alone. I could hear a male voice, was it Jimin's?

I decided to just knock and not burst into her room.

„Mom?“

With that, I opened the door and smiled at her, though I was a little bit shocked about what I saw in front of me. Both of them were lying next to each other in her bed, only that _______ now was sitting up straight, probably because of me knocking on her door. Jimin had his arms crossed behind his head and now also brought his eyes on me sitting back up as well. „Oh, hello Miss“ He smiled a little what still felt weird due to all the bad things _______ told me about him. I would've never assumed that they'd ever get along that well. I had to ask her what has happened someday. Well, she had already told me that he was different now, which could clearly be seen at this very moment but, could I trust him?

„Hey Jimin, it's nice to see you“ I smiled back at him and focused my daughter afterwards. „Are you alright?“

She only nodded and looked back to Jimin. I smiled at this view, she must have been happy with him being around.

„I'm glad to hear that. But if you need anything, just tell me“ With that, I left her room again with a bright smile on my face.

I hope he's the right one. I only have to tell myself he won't bring any harm on her.

Jimin's POV

„Did you see that?“ _____ suddenly burst out into laughter what caught me off guard. „See what?“

„The look on her face“ She stared at me and laughed even more. Ahh, this girl was so sweet.

I slowly shook my head while my lips formed into a little grin. „You're so weird“

„She was so shocked seeing you here“

„Yeah seems like it“ I couldn't help but smile. Why was she so cute? But she was right. Her mother did looked shocked. She probably didn't expect me lying in her bed.

I chuckled to myself with her still laughing like a mad woman next to me.

I looked over at her and watched her cute laughter until she stared back at me and clung to my arm. Her gaze wandered down my sweatshirt until it landed on the bloody spots on my sleeves. At this moment her uncontrollable laughter went silent.

„Right, we wanted to go shopping, remember?“ She looked up at me with a more serious expression than before. I wasn't sure if she was sad or if she just tried to be more careful in order to preserve me from being hurt.

„Yeah, right“ I looked down at my arms. The cuts didn't hurt anymore due to its healing process but remembering why I did cut myself once again still hurt. We really should head out and get myself some new clothes. „Shall we go now? Or do you have to do anything for school?“ I looked at her with a wide grin spreading in my face.

„Yah!“ She slapped my shoulder in return for me mocking her. I couldn't help but laugh at this. I knew it would work.

„No I don't have anything to do for school. And if I would, I wouldn't do it“ She got up trying to act offended and dramatically walked away from me.

„Yeah, right“ I got up as well laughing to myself.

„Mom, can you borrow me some money? I wanted to go shopping with him, he needs some new clothes“ ______ looked at her mother with big puppy eyes trying to persuade her. At this point, her mother eyed me. I felt really uncomfortable standing around them while _____ asked for money to buy some new clothes for me. But well, I really didn't have any money with me. Not that I would have had money if I was at 'home'. My fath- this man never gave me anything. And if I earned some money, which I wouldn't go any further from where I got it and how, he immediately snapped it away from me. Gosh, I was so glad he threw me out, I didn't miss him at all.

But I still didn't want to be a burden to her family.

„Okay, hold on a second, I'll look for something“ Her mother answered with a smile on her face before she walked off.

_______ turned back to me and immediately noticed the guilty expression on my face.

„What's wrong?“, she walked up to me asking.

„I feel sorry“

„For what?“

„For not having any money“

She sighed in return. „Jimin, it's alright. You can't just walk around in the same clothes every day and we don't have to buy you a full closet today. We just need two or three outfits so that we can wash your clothes in between the days“ At this part, she chuckled causing my heart to warm up a little. „Don't worry about it“ She leaned closer to me and gave me a quick kiss on my cheek.

We went through the mall and she immediately pulled me up into one of these hundreds of stores. Right, I hated shopping. But I had the feeling it would be better since she was by my side. Hopefully.

„Okay, let's see.“ She pulled me with her, never letting go off my arm and looked around hastily. Why did I like it that much that she touched me like this?

„I guess you won't wear anything else than black“, she then said with a cute laughter. I didn't answer her, it was a rhetorical question. I also smiled to myself in return.

„Here, what about that, it looks cool“ _____ pulled out a piece of black clothing which happened to be a normal sweatshirt. I just stared at it and didn't say anything.

„Try it on, I know it's just plain black but it's not like you're wearing something else at the moment“ She laughed and I had to admit that she was right. I indeed only wore black clothing with no special accessories on it. We never had the money to afford more lavish things. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to wear something else than plain black things but still, it caused some feelings, I couldn't even tell which, to come up in my heart. Was it pain? Or sorrow? I had no idea, it was just weird.

But in the end, I tried it on anyways.

Three hours later, yes it really took that long, we had bought two complete outfits for me. We even bought a new pair of shoes and some underwear, which was a little embarrassing to be honest. But I loved how much she cared about me and I knew she just wanted me to be comfortable in my own skin. But that would still take some time.

We were just about to get ourselves some ice cream, as I heard someone's voice from behind calling her. That was definitely Jungkook's.

She immediately turned around as she heard her name being called. I did the same since I had to know what he wanted from her.

„What are you doing here?“ Jungkook asked with a wide smile on his face.

„We went shopping together“ ______ looked up at me and it looked like Jungkook hadn't even noticed that I was there.

„Oh, hey“, he then added carefully. He still was hesitating at talking to me.

„And what are you doing here? All by yourself?“ She let out a quiet laughter causing me to have the urge to reach out for her and pull her close to my heart.

„I had some time left and just went to the bank and all that kind of stuff“ He was nervous, that was for sure.

„Are you-“, he hesitated a little and looked back at me „like, are you two together?“

I abruptly turned my head to face her to listen to her answer. She, on the other side, looked up to me and smiled a little causing my heart to warm up. Was she really going to say it in front of him?

She faced Jungkook again and you could tell that he actually didn't want to hear her answer.

„Well, you could put it like this“

Jungkook visibly swallowed at this which made me happier than I'd ever admit.

Jungkook's POV

I sighed as I slowly walked down the street.

So they really were together now, huh?

We didn't talk that much after she'd told me that, I just couldn't face them any longer.

I thought she knew I liked her, why would she tell me in that kind of voice she had? I would've lied if I said I wasn't hurt. It hurt a lot. But I wanted to be friend with her, even with Jimin. Although that sounded odd. Yes, I was afraid of him but that was only because I knew what he was able to do. He'd already hurt me several times though I'd never disliked him. I was the only one that fought for him, the only one who didn't turn against him. But I was the weakest, so I could easily be beaten up. I didn't want it to happen again. I really had to be careful about what I tell him, although I felt like _______ really knew how to handle him in the right way. He didn't seem that hateful anymore, but still, I had to be careful.

What should I do now? Pretend I wouldn't have these feelings towards her? She doesn't like me the way I do, does she? Or should I try and fight for her? But I shouldn't give Jimin a reason to be mad at me. I wanted my relationship with him back, we used to be best friends. This definitely wouldn't work out then.

I had to get a real relationship with both of them, these feelings would hopefully fade someday.
