“NO! I won’t go out until my umma is here!” She answered Mrs. Kang’s plea to make her go out of the room. Seulgi had run to a room that she could lock herself in it, the moment Jessica disappeared from her sight.
 
“I am your umma”
 
“NO! My umma is Jessica Jung Sooyeon!” She refuted, still crying boisterously. Even though she got mad at Jessica for leaving her, she still wants be with her.
 
“Seulgi, I am your umma. I was the one who gave birth to you”

“I’m here now” Yoong informed right after reaching the Jung’s but didn’t find Jessica in the living room. Instead, Jessica is in her room, laying down on all fours with her face buried on the pillows. “Hey …” He called out softly as he sat on the edge of the bed
 
He was on a business trip since the other day so he wasn’t able to accompany Jessica when she had to leave Seulgi to the hands of the Kang’s. And instead of going home to take a rest after the long flight, he chose to comfort his girl who he knows that wouldn’t be taking things smoothly.
 
“You shouldn’t have come, I’m in a mess” Muttered her
 
“Hey, I don’t care whether you’re in a mess or not. What I care about is your well-being” He softly pulled Jessica to sit up and face him “You don’t have to deal about this thing alone. I am here to comfort you”
 
“Seulgi have never cried that loud before” Jessica informed in a whimper “It hurts to hear her to ask me if I don’t love her anymore … But that’s her mother … if only I have the right, then I wouldn’t leave her there”
 
“I heard that you can visit her during the weekends. You’re not going to lose Seulgi, okay? We’d visit her during weekends.” He tried to liven up the mood even though it’s futile. “I’ll give you a bathe, then tuck to sleep, okay?”

He carried Jessica and did as he said, but he was unable to leave just as yet; because the rain poured. He stayed in the living room to watch a movie while Jessica is already tucked in her bed.
 
“Seulgi!” Called Jessica and heading for the little girl’s room, only to be disappointed when she realized that Seulgi isn’t there, or would she ever be there again
 
“Why?” He went to her side
 
“Seulgi is afraid of the thunders”
 
“I’m sure Mrs. Kang would be there to comfort her”
 
“I just hope that she cuddles her. Seulgi likes cuddles when there’s boisterous thunder because it makes her the most comfortable”

“Umma!!” Seulgi clung to her leg as soon as she saw Jessica striding towards the office. Seulgi was waiting at the entrance of the office, drenched with water, and is shivering
 
“The little kid still owes me the fare” An ahjussi approached “She was crying and saying that her mom works in here. I think she’s lost so I brought her here. When I asked where she lives, she said that I should send her here because her appa is here too”

“She was in the entrance of the office, drenched, which I assume is due to the rain, then she collapsed on the floor” Answered her, still biting her nails “Just what is she doing for Seulgi to escape like this??”
