Jessica loves winter.

She wants summer to come real quick while Jessica wants winter to last forever.

She hates winter but she has a personality like it. Jessica is a little better than her.

One turn of events, the two have met.

How would they cope up with each other?

Would they be each others enemy or would they cope up with each others preference?

"I'm WHAT?"

"You heard it right. Don't let me say it twice."

"But why?"

"It's not much so? Also, It's not like you can avoid winter"

"Exactly my point dad! Grandma's house is in the middle of nowhere. That would only make me hate winter more"

"You don't have a choice okay alright? I wouldn't accept any excuses"

"But dad ..."

"No more excuses Im Yoona."

"I ..."

"Fine. Go to your Grandma's for more than 3 months and as an exchange, i will give you the free will to be on your own unit and won't force you to go at different events."

"Fine. You better stick to your words dad"

So here am i, heading towards Minnesota just like how i'm bargained to. Staying at Grandma's house is an advantage to be very honest. Cookies, Milks, I don't have to do any chores, i'm pampered, i can save money and many more advantages i could ever have. I just don't like going there now because it's winter. Gahd. I really hate this season. And the fact that i'm spending my winter vacation there instead of going out  with my friends.

I decided to stop by in my favorite store that sells fresh churros and hot choco first before going to grandma's house

"Granny!!" I called out as i see her outside the house with her usual hobby that i got too, biting nails.

"Yoongie!!"

"What are you here outside? It's too cold"

"I'm waiting for Jessica. Though its a pleasant surprise for you to visit me during winter"

"Because i miss my favorite granny of all time." I answered as i hug her. It's true. She's my favorite one and i miss her because we don't meet oftenly

"But didn't you say you hate going here during winter? I'm touched at the affection and effort then"

"Hehe. Let's go inside granny. You can wait inside. I don't want you to catch a cold"

"What are you doing outside? Aren't you cold?"

"I was waiting for Jessica."

"Jessica? Who is that? Is she the new maid?"

"Jessica, Is my granddaughter"

"Ehhh? Granddaughter?" Yoona asked confusedly taking a glass of water 

"I mean, I want to keep her around since i didn't know that you'll visit me"

"You keep her? As in she lives here?"

"That's right. You're not jealous right?"

"..."

"Aigoo. My only granddaughter is jealous" Said her grandmother consoling the sulky Yoona who slumped in the couch

"I mean, Can we even trust her?"

"Of course dear"

"What if she's just being a freeloader? A thief? Or something?"

"Staying in the city must be really tough eh? Don't worry. She's nice and she's pretty too"

"But granny ..."

"Yoong, Be nice to her alright?"

"..."

"If you give a cold shoulder to her or make her feel unwanted, Granny would be sad" Yoona sighed and her Grandma smiled at the giving act. Just then, a girl came in panting

"Granny ... *pants* ..."

"Jessica? What happened?"

"Just in time ... It's time for your medicines. Have you eaten?" The girl said looking at her wrist watch

"Oh medicines! That's what i was waiting for you. I was gonna ask if i forgot something" Jessica then heads to where the medicines is usually placed before approaching the old lady "By the way, Jessica, This is my one and only granddaughter"

"Hello! I'm Jessica. But it's okay if you would call me Blondie just like how the others does" She greeted giving the old lady the medicines and a glass of water

"I'm Yoona. Just Yoona."

"Who called you blondie?"

"My students."

"It's okay. Don't let them affect you."

"It's okay to call me whatever. Life is too short to care about the things that you know you don't need to"

Days passed and Yoona was just lazying in the house. Until came a day where her grandmother is feeling sick so she brought it to the hospital

"Jessica ...."

"Granny, i told you not to look for her anymore. She's not going to go back"

"Yoona ... Look for her hmm?"

"Why would i do that? She's not even our relative"

"I'll feel better if you'll do that."

Yoona took out her phone to dial a number

'Hello Sam? Is Jessica already there?'

'She's not around yet'

'Please tell her to go here as soon as possibble'

'Okay'

 

Jessica was walking to the the hospital with a man talking with someone on the phone beside her

"Cynthia! It's been awhile" She smiled when she saw the nurse walking out of the hospital

"You're only coming now? Who's that girl anyway?"

"Who are you talking about?"

"The one who brought Mrs. Im"

"She's hospitalized?!"

"Yeah"

"Okay thanks" Jessica managed to thank the nurse before spedding off inside the hospital

"Miss, Wait up!" The man called out, following behind her

 

"Granny! What happened?!" She came inside as soon as she heard which room is it from the nurse

"You're here."

"Didn't you take your medicines? I told Sam to make sure you do"

"Aigoo. This is just a cold. But, you're coming home, right?"

"Yes yes. I will."

"Where have you been? Why aren't you going home the few days?"

"I'm just doing some stuffs while i don't have class yet."

"You look pale. Are you alright?"

"Yes i am. Don't worry" Jessica flashed a smile "I have to go, would you be alright?"
