“Forgetting you is like erasing myself.”

 

Luhan was getting off of his work. He was ready to go home.

But suddenly Xiumin, his boss came to his office room.

“ Ready to go?? “ Xiumin asked Luhan.

“ Yeah.. I’m going home.. “ Luhan answered.

“ I will send you home.. “ Xiumin said while taking Luhan’s bag.

“ No, Xiumin.. I’m tired,, really.. And I really want to go home.. Bye. “ Luhan said and went out of his office room.

“ Be careful. “ Xiumin shouted.

Luhan ignored that and pretended not to hear that.

Luhan went to the parking lot, to his car, he sat in there for a while.

He seemed so tired.

Not long after that, he took off.

 

 

Just like many other nights, tonight Luhan was going to fetch his boyfriend—Sehun from the bubble tea shop where he worked.

It was 9 P.M already. Luhan drove faster, soon he arrived in front of the shop.

Still in his car, he could see that the shop was closed already.

It must be only Sehun remained there.

He sat still in his car for a while.

He kept sighing for the past four minutes.

He looked so tired—not just from his works he believed.

With the last heavy sigh, he opened his car’s door and went to the shop.

Soon, he was welcomed by his one and only boyfriend—Oh Sehun.

“ I’m going to regret this. “ Luhan thought when he was Sehun’s bright face.

 

“ Hey!! “ Sehun greeted Luhan happily.

“ Hey. “ Luhan replied weakly.

“ You look tired. “ Sehun said and patted Luhan’s head lovingly.

“ I am. “ Luhan thought.

“ Ready to go home ?? “ Luhan asked.

“ Yeahh.. I’m going to change first, is it okay?? “ Sehun asked.

“ This guy is.... my boyfriend. “ Luhan thought.

“ Just a minute. “ Sehun continued.

“ Okay. “ Luhan said and sat down at one of the chairs.

The bubble tea shop was indeed empty.

Just Luhan and Sehun were there.While Seun was in the changing room, Luhan waited for him nervously.

“ There is no going back from this. “ luhan thought.

 

“ Let’s go.. “ Sehun said happily.

Sehun and Luhan walked out of the shop.

Sehun closed and locked the door.

Luhan walked to his car first and waited for Sehun there.

He was looking at Sehun from his car.

“ This is the best I can do. “ Luhan thought and sighed.

Sehun walked to the car with his usual happy face—when he talked to Luhan.

“ Wanna grab something to eat before going home, Lu?? “ Sehun asked while putting on his seat-belt.

“ What about dinner at home?? “ Luhan said and started the car.

“ Great!! “ Sehun answered.

Luhan drove the car.

They drove slowly home.

 

 

But on the way, Luhan stopped the car.

Sehun looked at Luhan puzzled.

They were in front of a restaurant.

“ Let’s eat first. “ Luhan said and went out.

“ Okay. “ Sehun nodded happily and followed soon.

They came into the restaurant.

It was not a super-luxurious restaurant but it was calm there.

Sehun and Luhan sat at one of the table, the waiter came soon and they ordered.

Sehun looked around, seemed happy as always.

Before they could start any conversation, the food arrived.

They started to eat.

It was silent, but not the awkward kind of silence.

They finished eating.

Luhan put down his glass and suddenly said, “ Sehun, we need to talk. “

“ Yeah.. I’m listening. “ Sehun answered and stared at Luhan expectantly.

“ I think,,,, “ Luhan paused and drank.

Sehun was still staring at Luhan.

“ I think we are breaking up. “ Luhan said and looked at Sehun.

He was serious.

Sehun looked at him, his expression became unreadable.

“ WWWhat?? “ Sehun said. He was so shocked.

“ He’s confused.? “  Luhan thought.

“ We have to break up. “ Luhan said again.

“ I heard that, but what do you mean?? “ Shun asked.

“ No anger detected. “ Luhan thought. Staring at Sehun.

“ I mean we break up. “ Luhan said.

Sehun was silent. He couldn’t say anything.

“ I cheated on you….. “ Luhan said tiredly.

Saying Sehun was shocked was an understatement.

“ You’re saying something like breaking up and now what?? You cheated?? “ Sehun said while holding his head.

Luhan stayed silent.

“ I… I just.. “ Sehun was lost of words.

“ That’s it. I cheated on you, with my boss..  Kim Minseok, and we- “ Luhan’s word was cut.

“ I thought your boss is Xiumin? “ Sehun said.

“ Yeahh.. It’s his nickname. Kim Minseok is his real name. “ Luhan explained.

“ Kim Minseok…. “ Sehun uttered. He sighed. He was frustrated.

“ I’m sorry. It’s me. “ Luhan said.

Sehun opened his mouth to say something. But  he couldn’t.

Nothing came out.

Luhan also stayed silent.

“ Why?? “ Sehun said finally breaking the silence.

“ It’s me. It’s just me that feel bored too quickly, I—“

“ Quick?? You are saying that seven years is quick?? “ Sehun said while sighing.

“ I know. I.. “ Luhan said, feeling guilty.

 

“ I should’ve not do this. “ Luhan thought.

 

“ I don’t know, Sehun. I’m just… I’m tired of all of this. “ Luhan said and closed his eyes.

“ You are tired of me, Luhan-ahh?? “ Sehun said, he seemed like he was ready to cry any second.

“ I….. “ Luhan said unsurely.

“ You are tired of me?? “ Sehun said again, looked more certain now.

“ NOOO….  I don’t know. “  Luhan thought, looking at Sehun.

“ Yeaaahh. “ Luhan said weakly.

Sehun opened his mouth and close it.

He looked at anywhere but Luhan.

He nodded and said, “ Okay. “

“ Okay. “ Sehun said again and looked at Luhan.

Luhan couldn’t say anything.

Soon, the silence was covering them.

 

“ Ahhh.. Let’s.... go home. “ Luhan said while stood up.

“ Okay. “ Sehun said and followed Luhan.

The walking to the car was awful.

Both Sehun and Luhan were silent.

The driving home was too, totally silent.

Luhan was concentrating in driving—or not.

Sehun was looking out at the window.

After what felt like a century—for Sehun and Luhan, they arrived in their house.

Luhan drove the car to the garage.

Sehun was standing in front of their house.

Soon, Luhan came and opened the door.

“ Come in.. “ Luhan said.

“ No. I.... “ Sehun said while pointing to the street.

“ I’m staying at my parents’ house. “ Sehun continued quickly.

Luhan hold the door knob, so tightly.

“ Okay. “ Luhan answered while nodding.

“ Okay. “ Sehun said and walked away.

Luhan stared at his back.

“ How will you get there?? I will drive you. “ Luhan said.

Sehun looked back.

“ No, I’m calling my dad. “ Sehun answered and pulled out his cell-phone.

“Ahh okay.. “ Luhan said and nodded.

“ Go in.. And don’t forget to lock the door “ Sehun said.

“ Okay. I’m going in. “ Luhan said.

Sehun continued to walk away.

“ Sehuuun. “ Luhan called.

Sehun looked back again.

“ Bye. “ Luhan said.

“ Bye, Luhan. “ Sehun said and smiled weakly.

“ And Luhan.... “

“ Yeahh?? “

“ Good night. “

“ Good night. “

Sehun signaled Luhan to enter the house.

“Okay. “ Luhan said and entered. He closed the door and hold the knob tightly.

He was standing there as Sehun walked away.

 

 

~ NINE DAYS LATER ~

·         WITH SEHUN~

 

It was nine days already since the break up incident with Luhan.

Sehun’s dad had picked Sehun up that night.

Sehun’s dad didn’t say anything or ask him anything.

Surely he knew that something was wrong with Sehun and it had to do with Luhan.

Sehun stayed in his room and didn’t want to do anything.

He had no courage to went back to his and Luhan’s house.

He missed Luhan so badly.

But he didn’t cry. Not even once.

He sighed and closed his eyes.

He was tired.

“ Tired?? “ He thought.

“ Luhan.. “ Saying Luhan’s name was never so painful before.

“ I feel like crying right now. “ Sehun said.

“ But Luhan didn’t like to see me crying. “

These past nine days, he had recalled all his and Luhan’s moment together. He had been seven years in a relationship with Luhan.

“ Seven years is totally not quick. “

“ Or is it?? “

“ Luhan thought so. “

“ What do I do without you, Luhan?? “

“ I’m dying.. “

“ Are you doing good with that Kim Minseok guy?? “

“ You are not, right?? “

“ I hope you are, though.”

Sehun was staring at Luhan’s photo.

He had not contacting Luhan since that night.

Luhan also didn’t do so.

 

Suddenly his phone was ringing, he grabbed it and answered without seeing the caller.

“ Luhan. “ It had slipped from his mouth.

“ Awww man.  You sound pathetic. “

Sehun knew that annoying voice so well.

He sighed. It was not Luhan.

“ I heard that you broke up with Luhan last week. “ The caller—Chanyeol said again, getting no answer from Sehun.

“ Nine days. “ Sehun said, lying on his bed.

“ What happened to you guys?? “

“ I don’t know. “ Sehun said.

“ You are at home, right?? I’m coming over. “ Chanyeol said and hung up.

Sehun stared at his cell-phone and sighed.

His dad had brought his mom to French for a vacation.

His mother was sad to see Sehun like that and his father had made a move to save his wife from sadness.

Sehun was glad that his parents had went for a vacation though.

They were worrying about him everyday—scolding.

Without his parents, it was calm in the house.

 

After about twenty minutes, Sehun heard someone knocked on his door.

Sehun knew that it was Chanyeol.

Sehun forcefully got up and walked to open the door.

Soon, he was faced with a very-shocked Chanyeol.

“ Ewww you look more pathetic than you sound. “ Chanyeol said and stormed inside—passed and shoved Shun aside.

Sehun stood there stupidly.

He was really awful, his hair was totally a mess, his clothes too, not to mention his mind.

He walked slowly to the living room—where Chanyeol currently was.

“ I never thought that you will break up with Luhan. “ Chanyeol said when Sehun took a seat in front of him.

“ I also never thought so. “ Sehun said.

“ So, what happened?? : Chanyeol asked.

Before Sehun could answer, he was cut by Chanyeol.

“ Don’t you dare to answer you don’t know. “

“ Luhan cheated on me with—“

Sehun was cut again with a-very-surprised Chanyeol.

“ What?? Luhan?? The Sehun’s Luhan cheated?? What a bull is that??”

Sehun looked at Chanyeol without expression.

“ Well.. Continue, I just can’t believe that Luhan and cheat can be put in the same sentence. “

“ Go on “ Chanyeol said again.

“ He cheated on me with Kim Minseok. “ Sehun said tiredly.

“ Kim Minseok?? Never heard that name before. “ Chanyeol shrugged.

“ So, how did you find out?? “ Chanyeol asked.

“ Luhan told me himself. “

“ What?? Did he mention why did he cheat on you?? “

“ He said he was tired of me. “

“ No wonder.. “ Chanyeol said.

Sehun looked at Chanyeol angrily.

“ Well.. He must be tired of you, because, look at yourself. “ Chanyeol said while gesturing at Sehun.

“ All parts of you are totally screaming tireeeed. “ Chanyeol said.

“ Yeaahh.. I’m tired and I’m going to go back to sleep. “  Sehun said and stoop up.

“ Whatt?? Are you serious?? Do you even love Luhan?? “ Chanyeol said. Sehun looked back.

“ I always do. Don’t you dare to question me that!! “

“That’s it.. If you really love him, you won’t be here, sleeping and all.. “

“What should I do then?? “

“ Go and win Luhan back!! “ Chanyeol said. Sehun stared at him.

 

 

Since Chanyeol went home seven hours ago, Sehun had been sending Luhan text messages and calling him, but there was no answer. After the 412 texts and 420 calls, Sehun gave up.

“He’s tired of me after all. “ Sehun thought.

Soon, he fell asleep, with his cell-phone tightly hold in his hand.

 

 

 

 

 

 

·         WITH LUHAN~

 

 

That night after Sehun was gone, Luhan cried.

“I never thought that you will give me up that easily. “ Luhan thought.

The following day, he went to work like nothing had happened.

Sehun didn’t come back.

Not the next day, not the next next day too.

He kept sighing all day long.

He felt so tired but couldn’t find out what was wrong—that was a lie, he totally knew what was wrong.

Xiumin was always there each day, flirting with him and all.

A week after broke up with Sehun, he missed Sehun so
