He was always there.

When he called Soonyoung at 3 A.M. He didn’t know why did, but he did. He never knew he could feel that lonely, he thought he was used to be so alone. He felt so lonely and sad. No words managed to leave his lips. But he knew Soonyoung was there. They just stayed silent, listening to each other.

“If you get sleepy, just sleep. I’ll be here.”

Jihoon didn’t realize that his eyes got droopy until Soonyoung pointed that out.

“I always think of you before I fall asleep.”

Jihoon ended up feeling so warm and there was something in that hushed voice.

“What about me?”

“The words you said, the way you looked.”

Smile just found its way to his face.

“The things we laughed about, the silent moments we shared.”

“I think about you too.”

“And when I dream, I dream of you.”

“I’ve been wanting to tell you.”

“Because it’s all about you, Jihoon-ahh. It’s always about you.”

It was so soft but Jihoon felt it touched his heart.

He felt the tears fell down, maybe because he was sleepy.

He stayed silent, everything was so quiet, until he heard “I love you, Jihoon-ahh.”

He didn’t know what to say, as always. He heard that too many times, more than he deserved to.

“Like, really really love you.”

“But what if tomorrow you notice my flaws and imperfections and don’t look at me the same way as you did today?”

“Then I’ll just have to love you more.”

The answer came faster than expected.

“I’ll wait for you, because honestly I don’t want anyone else.”

“Maybe I love you too much for too long already.”

“Sorry.”
