I know I didn't give much warning in the previous chapter, but with this I give you all the ending to Minzy and Yifan's love story: Dark Paradise. I hope you enjoy it!

The Disappearance of Kong Minzy from Social Media

            After causing a shockwave through the Korean music industry with her departure from successful girl-group 2NE1, Kong Minzy, seems to have left all social media. The morning of May 17 the ex-group member seems to have deleted all of her social media. Her Twitter, Instagram, and even YouTube account are nowhere to be found….

When Minzy returned to China the erasure of Minzy’s old life began. Jean, EXO’s head security, made sure to erase any form of possible contact anyone in her old life could have with her. Social media? Gone. Phone Number? Changed. New Chinese citizenship? Obtained. Jean didn’t have to do anything with her company, because YG made sure to do that on their own. They erased her from 2NE1’s group picture, bio, and member profiles. Kong Minzy had virtually and physically been erased. There would only be Minzy Wu now.

Minzy Wu…

Minzy laid alone in her bed wide-eyed, too nervous to fall asleep. She had been living with that name for half a year already, but tomorrow it would officially become hers. Tomorrow’s events were also the reason Yifan was not lying next to her at that moment. She suddenly regretted kicking him out.

“We can’t see each other until the ceremony!” She remembered exclaiming as she gave him his pillow and ushered him out of the room.

“But Minzy you don’t understand, Baekhyun kicks in his sleep…” He tried to protest. He looked so cute with the way his bottom lip stuck out more than normal. One would even say he was pouting at her.

“There is an empty guestroom downstairs with your name written on it.” She laughed. How could he be this cute?

“But…”

“No buts, and don’t even try to sneak in. I’m going to lock the door.” She smiled.

“Fine.” He slumped his shoulders showing defeat. “Can I at least have a kiss goodnight?” He whined. Minzy couldn’t help but roll her eyes at his childish behavior before leaning in for a peck and pushing him further out of the room.

“Mmm not like that.” He protested with little stomps on the floor. Minzy couldn’t believe this was the same man people feared. “Come here.” He said. He stepped in front of Minzy right under the doorway as he pulled her into him with one arm. The other he dominantly placed right behind her right ear. “Like this.” He demanded.

He leaned down and took her plump lips into his. A hot, breathy, needy kiss. He insistently tugged at her bottom lip until Minzy allowed his tongue an entrance. Minzy felt her cheeks heat up as his tongue played with hers. Her arms suddenly draped around his neck. He began pushing them back into the room. That’s when Minzy’s eyes shot open. He knew exactly what he was doing and Minzy was falling right into his sneaky trap.

“Stop.” Minzy protested. “I know what you’re doing.” She smiled as she pushed him away from her. “I’m not going to let you.” She smirked as she pushed him back out the door and quickly shut the door on a stunned faced Yifan.

“Babe…” He groaned. She quickly locked the door before he tried anything else.

“The answer is no.” She answered. “Goodnight my love. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Minzy couldn’t help but giggle in bed as she remembered how close he was with getting his way.

There was a cool breeze gently blowing that day. Minzy looked down at the ivory colored chiffon that carelessly swayed with the wind as she took her first step out of the canopy created to keep her shielded from her groom and guests. She held her flowers close to the lace of the bodice. The soft rose petals touched her showing skin as her dress had a deep, scalloped v-neckline. The dress was rather simple compared to what someone would think a bride marrying the richest man alive would be wearing, but Minzy thought it was perfect for the intimate occasion. There was no giant poof or diamond encrusted dress or crown. She wore a very bohemian style dress that matched the beautiful grassland they were to wed in. Her makeup was natural and soft and her natural dark hair was styled into a low bohemian inspired bun. A few loose hair strands were curled to outline her beauty. The white baby breaths and small, pale pink roses contrasted beautify against the dark locks.

“Are you ready?” Stephanie’s calming voice brought Minzy back to reality. Minzy simply nodded as she gave her a reassuring smile. “Let’s do this then.” She smiled back. Hand in hand they walked to where the tall green grass was laid down to create a pathway down to the arbor where her groom and officiant awaited. “You’re the most beautiful bride I’ve ever seen, Minzy. I am so happy for both of you.” Were the blonde’s last words with a simple caress of the cheeks before she took off into the tall grass aisle as Minzy’s maid of honor.

Minzy took one last deep breath as she heard the music change. It was her turn to walk down the aisle. Tall green pasture accompanied her on both sides. Soon enough she saw the 20 guests, or so, standing in anticipation to see the bride. She and Yifan had coincided in that they wanted an intimate ceremony, so only the EXO members and their significant others were in attendance. Minzy's eyes first met Jongin's who stood at the edge of the seating arrangment. Minzy gave him a genuine smile. She was thankful and glad he had found his innerpeace and happiness alongside Daeun. And then she continued down the aisle. Minzy gave the guests a bright and brief smile, and then her eyes trailed down the remaining aisle until they met her soulmates.

There he stood at the end awaiting his bride. He work dark blue fitted slacks and white dress shirt neatly tucked in. His sleeves were rolled up just below the elbow. Some of his tattooed sleeve showed. No tie and no jacket. A brown belt around his waist and a light pink rose with baby breath in his shirt pocket were the perfect accessories. He was breath-taking Minzy thought to herself. His jet-black hair pushed back neatly. A gorgeous man.

Yifan took Minzy’s beauty in. They way her dress gently swayed with the mellow breeze. With every step she took closer the more he was at a loss for breath. She looked like a goddess to him. Her dress dipped down just enough for her first only tattoo to peek out from her side rib. The EXO emblem was now inked into her own skin. The lace straps sat neatly atop her bare shoulders. Her collarbones protruded and Yifan wasn’t sure he’d be able to contain himself until the end of the ceremony to hold and kiss his beloved. Yifan wasn’t sure when all the emotions built within him, but he felt his eyes burn with b tears. How was it that with all the sins that sat atop his shoulders he could still have the most selfless angel to call his own?

Minzy was unaware of how tight she held her bouquet until Stephanie nearly pried it from her hands for her to take Yifan’s extended arm. He helped her take a step onto the small platform while Stephanie took her place behind Minzy as her bridesmaid. Chanyeol gave her a smile and patted Yifan on the back as he stood proudly behind him as his best man. A very tough choice that was for Yifan.

“You look gorgeous.” Yifan stated which caused a rosiness to appear on Minzy’s cheeks.

Baekhyun cleared his throat and began the wedding as the officiant. He was very casual and funny and then sad and serious when he talked about the turbulent times the lovers came across, but he made sure to end it on a light and happy note. And yet Minzy was shedding tears throughout the ceremony as was Yifan. He was just better at concealing them. Sniffles were also coming from their guests. Everyone was happy for the lovers. They were finally getting their happy ending.

“With the power vested in me,” he began, “you may now kiss your bride.

One step was all it took for Yifan to meet Minzy in the middle of the alter. Both hands held her in place as he swooped down and kissed his wife. Cheers erupted from the crowd and Minzy couldn’t help but smile into the kiss. Yifan reluctantly let her go so they could address their guests as the newly pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Wu.

He held her hand and proudly raised it in the air as the on looking crowd roared in excitement! Together, hand-in-hand, they walked down the aisle, as rose pedals showered them, to where the reception would take place.

Her smile. That smile that enchanted him the first time he saw her in the club. Except this time it reached her eyes. It was beautiful the way her eyes twinkled up at him. That smile, he swore to protect it and her happiness forever. Even if it cost him his life. He would make sure that she was always happy by his side.

Short and Sweet. I started this story in 2014 and it is now 2019. I'm sory it took this long to provide you all with some closure, but I am glad I didn't abandon it. I'd like to thank all those who stuck with the story despite the year long waits between some chapters. Originally the ending was meant to be much darker, but I thought that with so much wait you readers deserved a happy ending. As did the characters lol they really went through hell didn't they? I would like to write an epilogue and perhaps some side stories for Chanyeol/Stepahine and Jongin/Daeun, but I will make no promises.
