Bittersweet CoffeeChapter 6: Her Hero
"Forgiving does not erase the bitter past. A healed memory is not a deleted memory. Instead, forgiving what we cannot forget creates a new way to remember. We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future." - Lewis B. Smedes
The said boy-slash-hero took the cigarette from Jingook's mouth, threw it on the ground and stepped on it, still holding Jingook's arm, "You know, a high school student like you shouldn't be taking cigarettes as well as hitting on women. How disgusting," the said boy twisted Jingook's arm and watched as the latter grunted in pain.
A good man often appears gauche simply because he does not take advantage of the myriad mean little chances of making himself look stylish.
"Scram!" He exclaimed, a bit pissed off from seeing the boys take advantage of a girl, more so a girl who was clearly older than them. He couldn't help but find it disgusting as he had caught up with the same situation beforehand. He couldn't help but pity the boys though. His train of thoughts went apart though as soon as he hear his phone ringing.
"Kai-ah! Where the hell are you? We're already here at the mall. We've been waiting for you for almost one hour now. Hurry your up, okay?" The person on the other line said, a hint of frustration lingered on his words.
"Sorry, Suho hyung. I'm a bit caught up at the moment. I just got a tiny preoccupied here at the park,” Kai answered, having no will power to tell the other boy of what truly happened just a few moments ago as he was too busy finding the girl.
"The park? Why the hell are you at the park?" Suho said from the other line, his voice slightly rising, though he evened it out as he held deep breaths. "Could you go here immediately? Your number one fan won't stop whining," he furth
