Is Your Heart Not Shaken?

 

Bliss. It was a word I never used until now. At this moment, I was in complete and utter bliss as I watched the party from my pot in the corner. Being as I had never used the word before, I shouldn't have been too surprised that my blissful moment didn’t last long. I had saw it before I heard them, Adrian and Pablo, arguing again as Jin tried in vain to calm them down. So with a deep breath and a sigh I made my way over to them.

 

“Adrian, Pablo, in about three seconds I'm going to rip off your arms and beat you with them.” I had learned long ago that my threats were taken seriously when I smiled, instead of screamed.

 

“But Bri he started i-” I stopped the males words with a hand in the air.

 

“Pablo babe, If you finish that sentence I will send you back to chile in a box okay.” I watched the taller male gulp, and nod wordlessly.

 

“Now why don't you two go make out somewhere.” With a cheeky smile I turned to Jin, who had been watching the scene quietly

 

“I swear I can't leave those two alone for a second.” Even as I said it I knew I also couldn't live without them, bickering back and forth. I shook thoughts of my friends out of my head as I stared at Jin, who looked incredible. The party had begun a little more than an hour ago and we still hadn't danced together, and I planned to fix that right away.

 

“Jin oppa, let's dance?” It wasn't a question and he knew it. So without waiting for his reply I dragged him over to one of the security guards.

 

“Mike let me borrow your headset.” They tall man complied immediately. After tuning the signal to Toki's headset I put in a song request.

 

“Toki can you play my jam.” The DJ immediately responded a thumbs up. I spotted the head of the lighting crew close to her , do I asked her to relay a message.

 

“Oh and Toki, tell David to get my spot.” With I handed the device back to it's owner, and turned to face Jin, who looked all kinds of uncomfortable.

 

“Come on Jin oppa, I'm the princess here tonight, and I need to dance with my prince at least once.” After a second of thought Jin allowed me to pull us to the middle of the dace floor , where the bright spotlight now shown.

 

Taking a discreet breath to catch my nerves, I led Jin's hands to my waist, and then wrapped mine around his neck, as the beginnings of Make Love, by Eric Benet, started to play.

 

Bliss. Right here right now surrounded by nothing but the warmth from Jin, I was in complete and utter bliss but all to soon the song was over and with great effort I separated from Jin.

 

I looked up at Jin hoping he couldn’t see the longing on my face.

 

“Thank you for the dance Jin oppa.” I gave a fake smile and walked away hoping to slow my wildly beating heart.

 

“What was that all about?” I looked at the red head to my left. “I know right, our little Bri Bri looks like she's in love.” I turned to my right, eyes nearly bulging out of my head at the identical red head. Marie, and Charlotte, my friends from France.

 

“It looks like we hit the screw on the skull.” Her mistake is what shook me out of my stupor.

 

“It's the nail on the head Charlotte.” Marie snickered into her hand.

 

“Really!? Well they should change it, the screw on the skull has a much nicer ring to it.” I shook my head at my friend.

 

“But why are you trying to change the subject?” I turned to Marie who gave me a more serious look.

 

“What subject.” I received a light shove from Charlotte on my left.

 

“The fact that you were totally having a Disney princess moment with the hot brunette.” I frowned at Marie's strange comparison.

 

“There is nothing to tell, that is Seokjin my best friend,”I made sure to put extra emphasis on the friend part, not sure if it was for me, or for them.

 

“Yea whatever you say Bri Bri.” I let out a silent breath as Charlotte walked away.

 

“You know we're not the type to pry.” I scoffed at Marie's ending comment.

 

After my conversation with the twins I made my way around the party, making sure I spent equal time with my old, and newer friends. By the time I realized it the party was ending and I was heading outside to leave with my friends.

 

“Wait a second okay.” I stopped my friends as I spotted Jin, and made my way over to him.

 

“Jin I’m going to the hotel with my friends, I probably won't be home until they leave.” I informed him, my friends who were all planning to stay three more days, would spend time with me before they returned to there respective homes. Just as Jin turned to leave I spun him back around.

 

“I have a late club meeting on Wednesday, can you come pick me up?” He gave me a immediate yes and I hugged him goodbye.

 

I was so happy to spend time with my friends and catch up, and I was so sad to see them go, but when Wednesday came, I was all but counting the seconds till I could see Jin.

 

“Alright, that's about it for today. You kids get home safe.” All the club members responded with a yes, as Kim Wonshik, our club president dismissed us.

“Sabrine, let me walk you home.” I turned in the hallway as Yoongi came from the club room.

 

“No need Suga bear, Jin oppa is picking me up today.” I could see he was upset before he even spoke.

 

“What did I say about hanging out with him?” I let out a sigh, already knowing this would turn into a fight.

 

“And what did I tell you about, telling me what to do.” his face screwed up in a ugly way.

 

“I'm your boyfriend you should respect my request. If I say don’t hang out with him, then you should listen.”

 

“I backed into the locker as he took a few steps closer to me.

 

“Jin oppa is my friend, why cant you understand that!?” He ran an angry hand through his hair before responding.

 

“Because he likes you and you know it.” I stopped not knowing how to reply.

 

“That's the end of this discussion, I’ll take you home.” I freed my hand from his as he tried to lead me away.

 

“First of all, it's not like that between us. Second I'm going home with Jin, so you can leave if you want.” Now Yoongi wasn't an abusive boyfriend, far from it, though there were times he ran a little too hot and got too rough with me, but it wasn’t anything I couldn't handle.

 

“He's in love with you.” He grabbed my head and turned it back and forth.”Why can't you get that through your head!?” Before I could put him in his place, Jin was Yanking him away from me.

 

“Have you lost your mind!?” It was like watching a movie as Jin punched Yoongi straight in the mouth. I watched praying that Yoongi wouldn’t retaliate, but instead he stood up, and gave me an angry glare.

 

“This is exactly what I'm talking about, you know what, forget it!” I stood frozen as Yoongi stormed away from Jin and me.

 

“Are you okay? Did he hurt you.” I woke up from my sanding coma as Jin looked me up and down. So I put on my best smile.

 

“Jin oppa you're so cute when you act brave.” I gave his cheeks a squeeze to emphasize his cuteness.

 

“Suga bear was just playing oppa.” I tried to ease his worries with a another smile. “I have to go apologize so I’ll see you later.” I had no plans to apologize to Yoongi, instead I was going to break up with him, for making Jin worry.

 

An unsettling look ran across Jin's face.

 

“Do you really not see me as a man, at all?” I smiled again trying to ease some of the tension.

 

“Of course oppa, your my big strong man. But I really have to go talk to Yoongi.”

I had taken two steps before I was spun around, and slammed into the lockers.

 

“Is this what you want!?” I stood there speechlessly as Jin yelled at me. “You wan someone who will treat you bad, someone who doesn’t care about you.”

 

Now during our lessons we had briefly covered swear words, but so far had yet to use them so I was completely taken back when Jin cussed, but what shocked me more was the actions that followed.

 

“ it.” I stood there unmoving as Jin's lips covered mine. I tried to fight it at first, knowing what kind of pain would follow, but as he laid a soft hand on the base of my neck looking for a response, I could deny it no longer.

 

My arms wrapped almost automatically around his neck, as I melted into his kiss. I whimpered as his hands gripped my hips. It wasn’t until we pulled apart for air that I realized what I had done, and as Jin moved his kisses down my neck I began to push him away.

 

“Jin stop.” Either he couldn't hear my low plea, or he chose to ignore it because he a long stripe up my neck. It sent a shiver through my entire body.

 

“Jin oppa you have to stop, please.” I begged as I found the strength to push him away.

 

“Why, why must we stop, you kissed me back, don't you want this as much as I do?” I wanted to say yes, but I knew that this thing between us, would hurt too much if it ended. So I told him exactly that.

 

“Do you feel this?” he grabbed my hand and placed it on his chest.

 

“My heart has never, and will never beat like this for anyone but you. I promise I will never hurt you, and I know you wouldn't hurt me.” I Stood there trying to keep the tears in my eyes from falling, as he poured out his heart.

 

“Don't deny this anymore, now that I know your, heart races in time with mine, I’m not going to let you go.”

 

I looked for a fault in his words, but found none.

 

“If you need time, I'll give you time, just don't push me away.” So that's the decision I made.

 

“I need time, to gather myself but I promise to call when I'm ready.” Before I could walk away, Jin was hugging me from behind.

 

“I promise I’ll make you so happy, so don't run from me, or your feelings.” I nodded and made my way down the hall, pulling out phone to call my mother, for a ride.

 

 

“Wait so you guys made out, and the he CONFESSED!?” Even though that was exactly what I had already said Chaerin, wanted to verify it once more.

 

It had been three days since that incident in the hallway, and I had yet to talk to Jin.

“So when will you two start dating?” I looked at my hyper best friend in disbelief.

 

“I'm going through a crisis and your, worried about when we'll start dating!?”

 

“Look, You and I both know you love Jin, the only thing getting in your way is your own fears.” I looked at Chaerin who had the most serious expression I had ever seen on her face.

 

“What I’m trying to say is stop being chicken, and go get your man.” I somehow gained strength from her words.

 

“You're right, I'm gonna go get my man!” I shouted with as I stood up.

 

“Hell yeah, let's go.” She stood up as well.

 

“Can't I get him, after we go get some food.” Chaerin shook her head at me, but still we made our way to the door.

 

“I left my cell in you room, wait for me in the lobby.” I nodded as I opened the door, but the sight that greeted me was enough to make me lose my appetite for eternity.

 

“Why are you standing in the doorway Bri?” I stood frozen as Chaerin made her way past me.

 

“And what the is this!?” my vision blurred and I turned around to enter my hall as Chaerin threw her fit.
