"Hyeonrin-ah, you're home?" The warm voice of Seungah unnie greeted the opening door.

Unfortunately, she might have jumped in shock to see it wasn't me at the door. Well, I was just right behind but still, Seungah unnie isn't the most strong hearted. 

"Uhh, hello."

"Ommo, who are you?"

"My name is Kim Dongjun."

"Okay. But...that doesn't explain who you are."

"Relax, unnie. I'm here." I appeared from behind him.

But as I expected, far from relax, she freaked out even more. I thought so. That was why I asked Dongjun to be more quiet to not get caught. Alas, it's too late to regret.

"Hyeonrin-ah, what happened to you? Why are you bleeding? Who did that to you?!" hung open wide, and it took just a moment for her to shift her shocked-turned-angry glare towards Dongjun, the poor guy.

"Actually...I..."

"Unnie, I fell down just now and Dongjun helped me."

"Oh...thank you Dongjun ssi." She scratched the back of her head. I guess from the way her voice shook a little, she must've felt guilty towards Dongjun. Aish, I'm sorry, Seungah unnie.

"I..." He shrugged.

"Unnie, Dongjun is going home now."

"Oh, wait. Let me pack you some cakes to thank you for helping our Hyeonrin."

"But I..."

I elbowed him slightly to shut him up as Seungah unnie disappeared into the kitchen.

"Don't tell her. It's just a small thing."

"But...okay, thanks. And sorry for almost running you down just now. I didn't notice you're crossing..."

"Nah, it's nothing big...just don't mention it to..."

We were stopped by the ever beaming Seungah unnie who's still in her apron and had appeared with a paperbag and handed it to Dongjun who looked like he would confessed what really happened at any second but thankfully, didn't. Seungah unnie would chase after him with a broom, or...knife?... if he had done that. For some reason, even though she wasn't my real sister nor even stepsister, and was adopted before I was brought into this world, I felt like she love and care about me the most. Which is an even stronger reason I couldn't let her know the truth.

"Hyeonrin-ah, let me bandage your...Hyeonrin?"
