No...that voice. I ran, yet I was rooted to the ground. It was already pitch black, yet it grew even darker.

"Do you think by not coming to our place to greet me, you can be freed? No, my dear, no. You know you missed me."

I collected my strength and tried to run again. But one after another, my legs disintegrated , I could hear the sound of chunks of meat softly hitting the floor as the weight of my feet grew lighter. I screamed for help, but nobody came. Where had everyone gone to?

"Because we have our unbreakable bond, we've signed the agreements, remember? As long as the agreements are on, you belong to me, even your mind."

"You couldn't even spell out a no. Why did you even try running away? It wouldn't change the reality that the fourth day has ended, and you've just lost Hyesung oppa's massive cheeks and silky hair and velvety voice, and most of all, his precious life to me. You're the best, Hyunnie. Really."

No. No. It's not the fourth day yet, was it? No, Hyesung oppa is getting married to Eunji unnie. No, I didn't lose the deal. No, he couldn't do that to oppa. No!

"NO!" Finally my voice reached out breaking the thickening stillness into crumbles.

"Hyeonrin-ah, ...Hyeonrin, what happened?"

I only heard Seungah unnie, but I couldn't see her.

"Oppa! Seungah unnie, help oppa, don't let him get to oppa!" The tears were getting out of control, but I kept going. I couldn't do anything. I was hopeless. Helpless. All I could do was begging for help. Because that's the only thing I could do, I couldn't stop, I wouldn't.

"Unnie please..."

"Hyeonrin-ah, wake up!" I felt my shoulders shook fiercely. My face was . It was soft, the touch. I opened my eyes and saw Seungah unnie.

"Unnie, Hyesung oppa~"

"Yah, Hyeonrin-ah, why...you're sweating so much. And screaming. And why are you crying? Was it a nightmare?"

"Unnie, what day is today?"

"Sunday. Hyeonrin-ah, are you fine? Because we'll have a lot of work to be done. Hyesung oppa is getting married today."

"Yeah, he came back just half an hour ago. They spent the night at Eunji's parents place."

"What did her parents said?"

"Well, they can register now but the parents want a proper reception later on at their place. They're shocked, and thought that Eunji's pregnant. I mean, who wouldn't be suspicious? Is she really not pregnant by the way?"

"Unnie, no. They've just met. I told you."

Seungah unnie made a weird face but slowly nodded.

"Is today really Sunday?"

"Yes. I told you. Why?"

"N...nothing." It's just a dream, Hyeonrin, just a nightmare, slow down your heartbeat. I glanced over down at my feet. They're still intact. I'm still alive. Hyesung oppa is still alive. Everything would be just fine. But why wouldn't the lingering fear go away? There was something really disturbing about the dream besides the devil himself...but I just couldn't point it out.

"Ahh, if only I can be like that too."

"Huh?" Seungah unnie's remark snatched my attention.

"You know, meeting someone for one day and getting married like the next day." She giggled and ruffled my hair.

I gave my best effort to come up with something closest to a smile to Seungah unnie.

Hyesung oppa needed to get married today. When that happens, the devil won't win.

Kihyun oppa returned home in the afternoon and went raging upon hearing Hyesung oppa would be getting married in such a hurry and kept saying there's something fishy and that Hyesung oppa was probably put under a spell by Eunji unnie. Myself and Seungah unnie had a hard time to calm him down, Eunji unnie shouldn't hear such a thing. She's too nice to be what Kihyun oppa accused her to had done. But the moment Hyuna unnie came down following the commotion, Kihyun oppa was silenced with just a glare. I just hoped they won't get into any fight during the wedding ceremony. Deep down, I felt that maybe Kihyun oppa was just hurt that he's the last to be informed of the wedding. I would be too, if I were him. But if there was a time I felt thankful of Kihyun oppa's and Hyuna unnie's nemesis relationship, this was the time. Because the house turned peaceful again and Kihyun oppa even grudgingly helped to arrange and took out furnitures from the living room outside, since we'd be having the small reception inside the house.

Seeing Kihyun oppa though, I couldn't help but be reminded of Seungjae oppa. Since they're the closest friends, maybe Kihyun oppa would know what Siwan didn't tell me.

Actually, I was really hoping he would know something to make me feel better, to reinstill hope that I hadn't ruined Seungjae oppa's life entirely.

"Hyeonrin-ah, you heard about Seungjae, right?"

Surprised as I was, I nodded calmly. Of course Kihyun oppa would know already of how I came into the picture, by being in Seungjae oppa's nightmares.

"You didn't do anything funny to him, right?"

The direct question though made me flustered and at a lost of response
