"Hyeonrin-ah, why is everyone being so quiet? You brought back so many people with you, I expect the mood to be noisier."

I sighed. I totally had no idea how or where to begin explaining to clueless Seungah unnie who thought Eunji unnie and Jungmin ssi were brought here for a party with Mister First Sight...who was his name again...ahh, Hyungjun. How could I forgot when Seungah unnie wouldn't stop talking about him, or about her stalking on him the moment we stepped into the house and she rushed to pull me to the kitchen, but was stopped short by the strangers. Thankfully, I was released shortly after she saw Hyuna unnie was with us and traded me for Hyuna unnie instead. Aish.

I had been trying to ask Jungmin ssi if he had anything to do with the sudden proposal, but he was just as surprised when I mentioned it. So, it wasn't him. But how...how in the world did Hyesung oppa proposed to a girl he had met for less than twenty four hours? He's just not that type of guy to rush things, especially not to any crazy extent. Sure, this was exactly what I wanted, but it came too easy that it made me couldn't help but to shiver, either of excitement, or something else.

"Unnie...it's...hard to explain..."

"Okay then, just help me cut the cucumbers. Siwan is coming too."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I asked him to come. I mean, it'd be better if we have double date, right? Hehe. Who knew you'd bring home a party. Now we have to work harder to cook more things. And how did Hyesung oppa even came back with you? I thought he's in Canada."

"Unnie, I'm not dating Siwan. And it's...hard to explain."

"Then, if you're not dating Siwan...is it that guy who came home with you guys, or is he Hyuna unnie's boyfriend?"

"What? No. Unnie, he's just...a nobody." 

"Uhuh...sounds like you girls are keeping something from me."

"Um..." Somebody help me, I couldn't hide anything from Seungah unnie when she prodded at me like this, even though I really told the truth about Jungmin ssi, and there were still many secrets I managed to keep from her, but that was only because she's not the sharpest person either.

"Hi, can I help something here?"

"Oh...uhm, ...Eunji ssi, right?"

"Yes, just call me Eunji. I heard we're the same age, from Hyeonrin."

"Really? That's great. I have a new friend."

Soon enough, they've both gotten so engrossed in their chatting, that I manage to crept out without being noticed. Seungah unnie looked so happy to meet a new friend that it almost broke my heart to see her smiling wider than when seeing that Hyungjun guy. Seungah unnie must've been so lonely to be alone baking and cooking most of the time inside the kitchen. In a way she's not that far from Eunji unnie who spend her days alone too. Seungah unnie must've been too happy to be met with her First Sight guy again and at the same time making a new friend. Come to think of it, I wonder how come I've never seen this...Hyungjun ssi around  when I was always put on duty to deliver Seungah unnie's cakes, and most of the people in Mogchoji had become familiar faces to me, or at least, most of the people in our neighbourhood.

Maybe it was because, he was fated to meet Seungah unnie, first. Afterall, he's her First Sight guy. Hehe.

"Yah, what are you doing smiling like idiot here? What evil thing are you planning?"

"Uh..." It took me awhile to register him. "Siwan?"

"What? Who are you expecting? Mister Lookalike from Seoul?" He jumped onto the next swing at the playground at the back of our house and started swinging himself back and forth.

"Siwan-ah, that's not funny. I didn't meet Seungjae oppa's lookalike, pabo."

"Then whose lookalike?"

"I..." I couldn't tell him about the devil, or could I? Should I? No, Siwan might think I'm crazy. Nobody would believe if you say you met a devil and made an agreement with him without even realizing it. And then made another deal with him in conscious. nobody. I wouldn't believe either. I would think whoever said that had a really terrifying nightmare or too depressed.

I would never think that way, ever again. 

"Hyeonrin-ah, what's wrong?"

"Huh?...oh...um,...you said there's something you wanted to talk about, right?"

"Yeah. Seungjae hyung.
