The sun had already bid goodbye but the garden of Park’s residence had just start to heat up. Familiar people greet each other, chat about the daily life and their whereabouts. Laughter can be heard all over the place as they were too much overwhelmed by the presence of each other. It has been a while since this group of people had gathered together since they had been too busy with their own respective lives and their own careers. Taeyeon and Leeteuk made this exclusive party to celebrate their wedding anniversary and also to welcome the upcoming birth of their second child. They make sure everyone can attend since it has been too hard to gather everyone since their circle of friends became wide enough because of what we call the “Friends of Friends System”.

The girls were happily chatting while sharing some chores at the garden. Yoona is with Tiffany, Hyoyeon and Sunny helping them to set the long table. Yuri helped Jessica and Taeyeon in preparing the foods while Sooyoung take a taste for every dish.

“Yah! Would you mind helping us here?” Jessica eyed Sooyoung as she was about to munch a slice of apple

“I am helping… haven’t you see…I am determining whether the food is good or not” she said , Taeyeon and Yuri just hid their laughter, trying not to piss Jessica more

“Aissh! You just never change. I can’t imagine Jonghyun flares his nose when your fridge got empty in just a week”

“I can’t even imagine how Donghae’s ears look like when you always screams too loud.”

“Aisshhh… you really are something Choi Sooyoung, By the way, Have you seen maknae? Is she coming Yuri?”

“Deh.. I called her the other day and she said she will come” Yuri said while topping some tomatoes on the salad

“It isn’t like her to be late in any occasions, is there something happened?” Jessica said who was mixing some salad dressings

“I’ll give her call” Taeyeon said and move towards the counter.

Rinng

“Yeobseo? Hyunnie? Where are you now? Are you on your way now?”

“Deh unnie, Mianhae for being late we just dropped by at the gift store” she said

“Alright, be safe then”

“Deh unnie thanks, see you there”

Taeyeon then put her phone down and went back to where the others are.

“So? is she coming?” Sooyoung said, still munching some raw tomatoes

“Deh.. she said they just drop by at the mall.. wait… did she just say we? Who is she with?” Taeyeon tries to remember their conversation

“What? Maybe she has a boyfriend already” Sooyoung said

“Anni, if she has one, I’ll be the first one to know it” Yuri declare

“Our maknae will not hide something from us especially to that kind of things” Jessica added

“But.. I really heard she said the word “We”.. hmmm maybe I just overheard it” Taeyeon convinced herself

Meanwhile, Yoona, Sunny and Tiffany were happily chatting while preparing the table

“Fany ah, when are you going to have a baby? Are you and Wooyoung plans to have one?” Sunny asked

“Of course we do, but I guess we were just both busy and forgot to have time for each other but I already arranges a vacation for the two us so that we can have a great time and hopefully I will became pregnant” Tiffany said with full of hope in her eyes.

“I cant wait to attend to your baby shower” Sunny exclaimed

“How about you Yoona?” Fany asked

“Huh?” Yoona was absentminded. Her thought were floating while glancing at the group of people across them

“Yah! Yoona, are you listening?”

“What were you talking about unnie?” she said

“Who were you stealing glances over there? Is it Taecyeon?” Sunny asked

“Huh? Anni, of course not… Why would I” she lied

“Aren’t you in good terms ‘till now? It’s been over a year already” Tiffany said

“Do you want us to help you? Jessica said that you seem like avoiding her when she is not totally affected about the issue” Sunny was indeed worried

“Anni unnie, I just cant face her, I am just pre occupied. I guess time will just let us be okay” she said while looking at Taecyeon across who is busy grilling some meat

“I hope you’ll resolve issues with him” Tiffany said

“And… hope you will not be avoiding Jess… she has been worried about you” Sunny said

“Deh… of course unnie… I will talk to unnie later”

“Taec, can I ask you about something?” Leeteuk said trying to get a serious talk

“Sure, what is it” he said while tossing the meat

“How are with Yoona and Donghae now?”

“Still the same… bitter… cold… I don’t even know how to describe it but we are much okay with Donghae now. It’s just she is cold.. very cold to me” he said

“Do you even try to persuade her again?”

“I did my best to make her forgive me but I guess it wasn’t enough at all. There is only one thing I need to do and if its still don’t work then I guess I need to accept the fact that this is where we  should end up”

“Alright bro, I hope it works… and hopefully everything will be fine and if you need some back up I am always here and the rest of the group.” Leeteuk patted his back

“Hey.. Seems serious huh?” Khun said as he joins them

“Have you heard some news about Kyuhyun? I heard from one of my clients that the Director of the Cho is coming to Korea for a business deal and there are no other heirs of the Cho beside him Aishhh.. This guy is really such a fuss”

“If I am going to see him, I will surely punch him through the nose” Taec said acting his winning

“Me, I will strangle him to death” Khun said

“I will just hit him with a baseball bat” Leeteuk added

“Who are you going to murder here? Jonghyun asked as he and the others joined the group

“We heard Kyu is in the country and we are planning things to do to him whenever we see him because of being a hiatus and worst of all being invisible to us for three years” Khun explained

“I can suggest one” Sungmin said “I will strangle him to death”

“I will be the one to do that” Leeteuk said

“Then, I will put a bag to his head and let him suffocate”

“Me, I will drown him in the ocean”

“I will chop him into pieces”
 

The plan became more and more worst that they can’t even stand it at all. They can only laugh so hard about their crazy ideas combined.

“I actually miss that guy…” Taec said then the others agreed

As they are happily chatting along, Seohyun’s image can be seen approaching them holding tightly to a guy’s hand. All pairs of eyes were on them, confused…. Shocked…. Mesmerized… words can’t even fit to what they are seeing right now. It was indeed a silent entrance just when Taeyeon broke the ice.

“Maknae, glad you came” Taeyeon said and welcome her with a warm hug while the younger one gladly accept it.

“Happy anniversary unnie and Congratulations for your upcoming baby” she said and hand her a nicely wrapped box “I hope you’ll like it” she added

“Same greetings to you Taeyaon ah… kekeke… Here is mine” he said

“Oh my God Kyu… I.. I .. Can’t believe it… Thank you for coming and for the gift… I am glad you came back. Welcome!” she exclaimed while giving him a warm welcome hug

The others slowly then came… the girls happily give her a hug.. bombarded him with questions and don’t even have a chance to answer one. The boys then had their own silly way of welcoming him, Taec slightly punch him, while the others try to strangle him and choke him. Kyuhyun felt pain physically but deep inside he felt the happiness he has been searching for, being with the ones who love the most, being with the people whom you cherish, you cared for and to the people you really love. It was the warmest welcome he had since he came back Korea excluding Seohyun.

Everyone was then delighted with all the chatting throughout the evening while sharing a dinner together. They flashback some stories during college years, the happiest, the embarrassed and the most memorable one. Smiles were the only one to be seen from each and every one of them but when love stories became the topic of the group, two familiar faces became bluer than blue, while another two blushed like a red tomato.

“Kyu, did you just say you arrived 3 days age?” Sooyoung suddenly blurted out.

“Deh… last Tuesday” he confirmed

“aahhh… you two really are in a hurry… you just met 3 days ago without even telling us and then you showed here like a married couple, are you sure you are not?” Sooyoung teases the two who are already flushing into darker shade of red.

“Yah! Hyunnie, why didn’t you say anything to unnie huh?” Yuri fakes a cry

“You are really the evilkyu” Taecyeon added

“Good one Kyu”Donghae praised

“Why didn’t you let unnie know about this huh?” Sunny said

“Unnie…it isn’t what your thinking” she whined

“Huh? Then what are we Hyun?” Kyu then teases her while looking at her intently then the others growled to more teases to them

Seohyun then was no room to explain she just cupped her face with her palm while Kyuhyun then caresses her back feeling guilty to what he said but still he mean it.

“Aww… they are so sweet yeobo” Tiffany exclaimed while leaning her head to her husband Wooyoung

“Aigoo, don’t be jealous. We are sweeter than them” he said while wiggling his eyebrows

“Stop the two of you” Hyoyeon said to them

“Just let them be sweetie” Eunhyuk, her husband said

While the others are busy teasing the two young couple, Taecyeon then suddenly stood up. He took a deep breath, slowly walking towards the center to take a full view of everyone. He cleared his throat to catch their attention.

“Excuse me guys, there is something I want to tell you” he start to say while feeling tremble inside

“I want you to know that I am a jerk”

“We already know that” Nichkhun said

“Yeah, even more than that” Kyuhyun added that made the others giggle but there is only one person who is uneasy with the current situation.

“Aishhh.. Let me finish first” he said scratching his head

“Ahrasso, go on now” Leeteuk said

“I am a jerk, a coward, an idiot or anything you would call it but I guess I will be worst than that If I would miss this opportunity to ask this one special woman of my life whom caused hurt. Yoona, I know you are really mad for lying to you but I didn’t intentionally do it. I have explained this too many times but I will say it again for everyone to know. I lied to you five years ago. I pretended to be someone I wasn’t to be.

I was afraid to say no when you ask if I was Mr. X.Y because I thought that I would miss a chance of knowing you then later on I was more scared to lose you that is why I didn’t told you so. Donghae, bro, I am very sorry again for what I have done and thank you for forgiving me and to you, Jess. I know you’re out of it but still I am sorry for stirring up your relationship”

“Forget it now Taec, it’s alright I swear” Jessica assured while tucking herself towards his husband

“Bro, whatever guilt there now, let it out. I already forgive you” Donghae said “I guess if you didn’t so then I will never be with the one very much destined to me” he added and plant a kiss to her forehead.

“Thanks guys. Even though it was a tragic event that happens yet I was still happy that it was let out from its bag. If Donghae wasn’t drunk that night and revealed the fact then I could have forget the fact that I was not only lying to Yoona but even to myself. So now, I want to take this night as a witness of my never ending love and a promise to be true until my dying days.”

He slowly walks through where Yoona is and kneels down on both knees saying:

“Mianhae my dear, I am very sorry I was so stupid. Aissh! Why did I have to do that foolish act but now I want you to know that I, Ok Taecyeon  have regret everything that happened. I don’t want to lose you babe. I love you so much that I cant imagine my life without you. I am very sorry babe, please come back to me and be my wife Im Yoon A” he said and pull out a shinning diamond ring before her.

Everyone was enchanted by such act of Taecyeon and hoping that Yoona would accept it. Yoona on the other hand was indeed speechless; she was trying so much not to cry because of her stupid pride. She curses herself for being selfish enough only thinking for her own situation. But the moment she saw him kneeling before and handing out that ring, all the emotions of love and happiness had been brought back to her senses. She can’t help but to cry half for being stupid too and half for being touched.

“Yes dear, I don’t want to lose you either. Yes, I want to be your wife” Yoona said and hug him while crying so much

Everyone was awed to them like watching a movie; they clap their hands making a standing ovation, mesmerized by a breath taking scenario. It was indeed a good way to end the misunderstanding between the two.

As the night goes deeper, everyone felt like it was the time to bid goodbye. Thou their mind don’t want to be apart yet their bodies are now asking for a good rest. It was indeed a good night for all of them. Everyone was bringing another good memory to keep and promise to gather again for the future. After bidding goodbye and wish each an everyone a good night, two couples were left at the entrance of the Park’s residence.

“Unnie, thank you so much for a good dinner” Seohyun said and hugged the older one

“Your welcome, and thank you for coming” Taeyeon said and ruffled her hair

“Hyung, Tae.. we’re going now thanks again” Kyuhyun bowed down to bid goodbye followed by Seohyun

“Have a good night and Drive safely Kyu” Leeteuk said and waved goodbye to the both of them

As they have settled down from their seats, Leeteuk and Taeyeon waved another set of goodbye to them while Seohyun waved back and Kyuhyun blow the horn of his car as a signal to go on, then they drove away.

“Are you sleepy already?” Kyu asked

“A bit” she answered back and yawned afterwards

“Would you mind if we would have a stop over at somewhere?” he asked, hoping for a positive answer

“Hmmm…. Anni, It’s quite late now but I wouldn’t mind since you’re with me” she said and smiled to him

Kyuhyun was very much delighted with her response, he drive with a positive vibes and hoping for more positive response later on. After a while, they arrive to where Kyuhyun’s “Somewhere” means

“Where are we?” Seohyun asked as she rolls down the window and take a peek outside and Kyuhyun just smile sheepishly

He then guided her as she came down from the car and walk along the area hand in hand. After a few steps, Seohyun had finally figured out her doubts of having the place seems familiar to her eyes. They then sat at the one of the benches being placed along. Seohyun made another yawn that made Kyuhyun startled a little, afraid that she may sleep any moment and his plans will not turn out well. He then slowly got up and kneeled before her. Seohyun’s tired eyes suddenly bolted up to its highest wattage.

“Oppa… what are you doing there? Got up now” she worriedly said

“Hyunnie, I know this may sound too rush since I haven’t prepared too much but I guess three years of being away is already a torture to me so I won’t miss another day not letting you know how much I care for you, how much I needed you in my life and how great my love is for you. Before I go back to the states since this isn’t a prepared visit at all I want to ask something from you and I am very much wanted to do this since I am very much afraid and scared to lose you Seohyunah.” He pours out his heart

Seohyun was too engrossed by his words especially having the same scene with him when he confessed to her. It was the same spot where he kneeled before her, the same spot where she have seated and the same atmosphere of cold night. She is now in a verge of crying especially remembering the pain she had caused to him.

“Seohyun ah… I guess everything is at its place right now except our hearts, I wanted you to know that I, Cho Kyuhyun who is very much in love with this girl before me and I wanted to ask her if she is interested to accept the place in my heart. Will you be my girl Kwon Seohyun and be my wife?” he handed her beautiful, shinning diamond ring to her that he had bought earlier. He was thinking to postpone his proposal since Taecyeon had made his act earlier but then he can’t afford anymore to let each day without her.

Seohyun was touched with what he had been proposing to her and her tears were now rolling down her cheeks. Without hesitation and afraid he may change his mind, she whole heartedly accept him

“Oppa… Yes… I am willing to accept it.” She said and hugs him tight and cries even more

Kyuhyun’s happiness is immeasurable right now; this has been the perfect night to start the life he had been dreaming on. The night was then closed with a passionate kiss shared by two people who had been trying to fit the exact pieces of the missing puzzle in their lives. Time and destiny may have played on them but still the heart goes back to where it belongs.
