There are only three months left before Kyuhyun and the rest of the senior students had to leave the portals of their alma mater. The future ahead of him is quite uncertain but one thing for sure is he wants to secure and stabilize his love life before it’s too late. He sometimes envy his team members since they already set up their life especially to someone closes to their hearts.Taecyeon had Yoona, Sungmin with Sunny, Wooyoung with Tiffany. “Kyu, what is your plan after graduation?” Taecyeon asked as they sat up at the bench of the gymnasium

“Hmmm.. I don’t know… I guess I’ll just wait for Dad to drag me out to the states like our agreement” he said while wiping his sweat with a hand towel “How about you?”

“Just like you I guess, Appa wants me to manage the new branch of the company. You know how much I wanted to open a dance studio but I guess there is nothing much I can do” Taecyeon sigh and lean his back

“How about love life?” he looked at Kyuhyun

“I’m still working with it”

“Working? It’s already a year Kyu..Aigoo”

“I am still sorting things out you know”

“Ahrasso! If you say so! Just don’t let me see you drunk when she is holding other man’s hand already. I’ll be going to shower now” Taecyeon said and went off leaving Kyuhyun struck with his words

With almost an hour of being dumbfounded, finally the dye is cast. He took out his phone and pressed the keys.

Hyun, are you free after school?

“Let’s call it a day, Goodbye class” Mr.Hyeon leaves his class

The students were busy cleaning up their desks preparing to leave the class as well as Seohyun. After assuring everything was in place with her backpack. Seohyun was indeed happy because it is her last class of the day.

“Looks like someone is happy” a voice was heard behind her. She turns around to know the owner of the familiar voice.

“Oh, Annyeonghaesayo Kyu oppa. What are you doing here?” she greeted him with her natural aegyo that was interpreted by him the other way around.

“Didn’t you receive my text?”

“cheongmal?” she try to took her phone out but Kyuhyun cut her off

“It’s alright, this is your last class right?”

“Deh” a bright Seohyun answered that made his heart flutter more.

“Do you have any plans to cater?” he asked while nervously tilting his head at one of the lockers

“Anni, I only plan to relax”

“Is eating ice cream considered to be a relaxation?” he asked

“hmmmmm…. I guess so”

“Alright, let’s go. I’ll treat you for your hard work for the success of our term paper.” He started to take a step

“Okay, I love ice cream” she said with her signature smile.

As they were walking towards the ice cream shop near the university premise, Kyuhyun shifted his place on the other side of Seohyun making him stand next to the road.

“You should never walk too close from the end side of the road Hyun because it simply means you’re next to danger” he warn her

“Cheongmal? So does it mean that you are in danger now because you’re walking next to the road?” she innocently asked

“It’s alright, as long as you are away from it” he smile to her

“How is that so when I am just standing next to you? Based on what you told me earlier, then I am next to next to danger” she explains

“Deh, but if we put it in a real situation, then I will get bone fractures while you will only get bruises” he showed his signature smile

“Why is that so?” she asked confusedly

“The logic is only simple Hyun, If a car suddenly losses its control and come over to our direction. Then I will push you near that bushes to save you off. Kekekeke” he playfully said but mean it inside

“Aeee… Aigoo… Cho Kyuhyun” she pouts that made him chuckle out of nowhere.

“What are you giggling for?”

“Anni, a sudden thought just cross my mind” he lied

The truth is, he find it cute and beautiful at the same time the way she pouts her lips and how he loves to hear her call him with his full name. He just don’t know why but it made his heart skip a beat.

“Were here” he announced and led her towards the door.

Seohyun’s mood became brighter than ever. There are sparks in her eyes and excitement is written all over her face which made Kyuhyun happy a million times. After taking their order, they settle at a table near the corner.

“Mmmmm… it’s delicious” she exclaim as he take a little scoop of her strawberry flavoured ice cream.

“Hyunnie” he called

“Hmmm” she said not looking at him still enjoying her food

“Thank you” he said and gave her a genuine smile

“Weh? Thank you for what?” she said as she look up to meet his gaze

“For… ah..ahmm.. for the friendship, for coming with me here and for everything” he said looking deep into her eyes. Without knowing why, Seohyun suddenly felt her cheeks burn to fire, her heart beats out of rhythm with her brain. Afraid what might happen next, she look away.

“I didn’t do anything much, nevertheless You are welcome” she managed to say the words while continuously stabbing the heaps of ice cream with her spoon.

Silence suddenly enveloped the both of them. Seohyun was still contemplating about what is happening to her when a cold hand overlapped her trembling hands.

“Hyunnie” he started to say and took a deep breath

“Deh?” she faintly answered and became more anxious than earlier

“I … I…

“So what’s your plan after graduation?” she abruptly asked letting go of her hands and fidgeting below the table.

Kyuhyun was bit disappointed with her reaction but she respect it anyway and tell himself that it isn’t the right time yet.

He then answers her question to avoid awkwardness.

“I am uncertain at this moment since I wanted to have my own music studio and teach the young ones. Unfortunately, my father doesn’t want me to” his expression change

“Why? Is he strict?”

“Maybe, I do not know. I manage to live with him anyway. It’s just that we tend to argue more than be in the same boat”

“So, what are you going to do then?”

“I guess, just follow what he wants. To manage and inherit our business at the states. I have no choice left since I am his only son and there is no one I can pass it to. We have discussed it a million times before and just end up to an argument. He gave me an ultimatum ‘till graduation. And I guess I will be back in the states then for good I guess if there is no enough reason to stay here” he said

A big sigh was heard afterwards. She fully understand the agony he was feeling even without knowing all the details but she can understand the way his eyes tell her to decipher the code of the vault of his sufferings. She don’t know why but she felt a pang in his heart when he said that he is going to the states for good. A pain tickles her, she can’t understand and the only word kept running through her mind is “WHY?”

As they made their own separate ways since she denied his offer to walk her home since she felt wrong with herself.  She kept on asking the question:

What is this I am feeling?
