WHAT REALLY HAPPENED THREE YEARS AGO
Seohyun was about to go out already for the wedding is about to start when her husband to be enters the room.
“Yah! Why are you here? The groom isn’t allowed to peek at the bride before the wedding” Sooyoung glared to him making him go away
“I just wanted to talk to Hyun, there is something we need to talk about” he said in a very low voice
“Unnie, it’s alright and besides it is just all a superstition” Seohyun plead to her unnies and then they went out.
After making sure that her unnies had already parted the premise, he then locked the door.
“So oppa, what do you want to talk about?” she asked
“Hyun, leave now or you will regret it for the rest of your life” he suddenly blurted out in a much firm voice
Seohyun can’t decipher the words that came out from him. She can’t even tell what is meant behind those words and what is he trying to imply.
“Huh? Leave? What do you mean oppa?” she asked looking at him but his expression answers her doubt that he is indeed serious
“No matter how much you try to hide it Hyun but I can see it clearly how much you are in pain. It wasn’t my intention to eavesdrop to your conversation earlier, I just overheard it and I know that Kyuhyun is on his way to leave the country. I know you love him. Run along now and do what I told you. Leave this place immediately, I have prepared a car for you, hopefully you can catch him. Follow your heart Hyun, don’t mind me at all I also followed mine. I’ll be the one to explain to the elders. You maybe a perfect wife to any bachelor here in this world but I can’t be the perfect man for you no matter what.” He said while his eyes are getting watery
“Oppa, don’t say that, you are beyond perfect oppa” she said while her tears are already forming in her eyes and chest pains are being felt.
“But still Im not the right one for you, go along now Hyun before I change my mind” he ordered her to go while opening the door for her revealing the other girls who were caught eavesdropping
“Mianhae” the three girls flushed like a red tomato
“Oppa, mianhae…. Saranghae oppa… for being good to me, you were always been” she hugged him tight, sobbing in tears
“yah! It’s alright Hyun, Go now” he said getting out from her hug and trying to be harsh for her to go out and close the door.
The girls then help Seohyun went to the exit door where the car has been waiting for her.
After a while, Yonghwa enters the wedding hall. He takes a deep breath and walk directly towards the podium being aware from the stares people had given him.
“hello” he said as he check for the microphone
“good afternoon everyone, thank you so much for attending this wedding but there isn’t going to happen anymore.” He moved forward towards Mr. Kwon. Kneeled down before him.
“Mianhae Mr. Kwon, I have hurt your daughter though I promise not to. I just can’t marry someone I don’t love. I just follow my heart. I have someone whom what my heart desires and I can t betray what my being have been telling me. Also, marrying to your daughter will only cause much more pain to her” he is now crying and wipes them all the way
Yoona, Yuri and Sooyoung can’t believe for what they had heard right now, being a witness to such a tragic scene earlier they now flooding with tears. They know what the real story is, it hurts too much for them to see him in such a state but he makes even worse by covering Seohyun up and lied to everyone when it was Seohyun who owned her heart all along. They felt how much he love her, willing to sacrifice ones happiness for the happiness to the one he love.
“Kwon Seohyun, God knows how much I love you but I wont let you shed a tear anymore because of me, that is why I am letting you go, setting you free. It hurts for me to do it but it has to be done in order for us not to end up both miserable. It is better to see you happy to belong with the one you truly love than having you by my side out of love. Even though how much it hurts but Love would always find its way to the one you truly love. You were not just meant for me. Be happy Seohyun, then I too will be happy then”
