~~TWO WEEKS PASSED~~

Watching Taehee swoon over Chan was a normal thing, it’s like a daily routine. “CHANNIE OPPA!” the diva yelled after setting a foot in their practice room. “God, you’re like obsessed with him.” You mumbled, but loud enough for her to hear, “Ya, I need to keep him away from you. After all, you are rubbish.” You scoffed at her remark and pushed her away, “At least I’m not some kind of brat that goes around-”

“At least my family’s normal. My dad’s not some kind of serial killer and I don’t go drinking at clubs after.” Your mouth hung open, just like the rest of the people in the room. “Ayun, come with me.” You heard Coori PD-nim call. Your eyes widened while she just smirked and turned around, trying to find Chan again.

“Ayun, is it true?” the women asked, you shook your head instantly, “No, you can’t listen to her she’s just-”

“Ayun, I believe you. But there are a lot of rumors and… I think you should take a break, yes? I think you should stop coming here so often for a month or so, you can take that time to sort out family problems right?” You choked on your own spit and managed to say, “I don’t have family problems!” She just shook her head and patted your hair, “Ayun, I worry about you. Take a rest and I suggest you not to visit here for a while. If I see you in here tomorrow I’ll have to call your parents okay?” you couldn’t do anything but nod and listen. How boring would this whole month be?

Mingyu’s POV

I left the small practice and spotted Yunnie in her usual corner reading. I sat down beside her and unplugged her headphones, “Hey Yunnie.” She glanced up and her expression didn’t look too good. “Hey, what’s wrong?” I ask but she simply shook her head, “No, it’s nothing. How are you?” she asked, trying to dismiss the topic earlier. She’s been smiling and laughing a lot more, everyone said it was me, and I have to say, I guess it is me. I changed the topic and unconsciously smiled when she smiled, her perfect pair of white teeth reflecting against the light and her eyes turning into small half moon crescents. I love everything about her, and I can’t deny the fact that I did indeed fall for her. I’m not going to tell, and I’m not planning to either, she doesn’t need to know. Because one thing’s for sure, she likes Chan. Her face when both of them announced they were dating, her expression was no different when she first met us, cold and mean. Blank and her lips don’t move one bit. It pains for me to see that, isn’t it obvious that Chan likes her too? Why’s he dating that Taehee brat-

“Gyu, Gyu!” she called waving her hands in front of my face. “Huh? What.” She chuckled and slapped me in the arm playfully, “I’ve been calling you over ten times, you seem so unfocused. Did something happen? Are you sick?” she lifted her hand and placed it on my forehead, “Seems fine.” She mumbled. I couldn’t help but blush, even though I was 100% sure she wouldn’t like me the way I like her. There’s absolutely no chance what so ever.

AYUN POV

You arrived home for dinner and saw Charles, Nara and Ara on the couch eating chips while watching a movie. “Oh, hey Ayun. Dinner’s in the oven, we’re having a movie night. You can come and join us if you want.” Charles waved at you. You shook your head, instead you asked for Chan. Apparently he’s coming home late because of practice, you headed towards the kitchen and heated up the leftover food, keeping in mind that you have to leave some for Chan too. You sat the dinner table, slowly drifting off into your own thoughts, you were so immersed you didn’t hear the oven go off, nor did you hear the front door opening. You stared at the refrigerator, came back to reality but you still stayed still like a stone. You suddenly felt a tap on your shoulder and you leaped out of your seat, tumbling over your own foot and falling down like a log. “Oh my gosh, are you okay?” Chan asked worriedly and helped you up while inspecting you and your body. “I-I’m fine.” You mumble and take a few steps back. He nodded and went to get some toast while you set your plate of food down and began to eat, “I broke up with Taehee.” You spat your food out and choked, “W-What?” He chuckled and ruffles your hair, “Gwiyeoun.” (cute) you swatted his hand away and glared at him. You couldn’t help but smile a little, the weight on your chest had seemed to disappear in thin air. “So… how do you feel about our breakup?” he asked, sitting across from you. “Phew, god I was waiting for this day! I mean she so annoying and bratty. I mean I’m just saying this because you guys broke up, but everyone in seventeen HATES her! She’s sometimes just so diva-ish on everyone, everyone except you of course. I don’t know why she hates me so much I mean I’m just someone that lives with you-” you stopped when Chan started to laugh. “So you guys really hate her that much? I told her you guys were going to come around, obviously that’s not the case.” He chuckled and grabbed his toast. “So that’s why you guys broke up?” you questioned. He shook his head, “No, we didn’t even break up. I wanted to see if everyone really hated her that much… I see that you guys truly do.” Your mouth hung open in shock, “S-So you guys didn’t actually break up?” you couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed. “Haha, why are you so sad all of the sudden… oh is someone jealous?” he cooed, tapping the bottom of your chin playfully. You smacked him in the arm and walked out, the weight that left a few minutes ago came back.

CHAN’S POV

I can’t help but stare at Ayun at the corner of the room, I know Soonyoung’s going to scold me later for not focusing but how can I when Ayun’s just sitting there, not to mention she was staring at Mingyu. I was still dancing but I wasn’t looking at myself in the mirror, I was staring at how Mingyu and Ayun were communicating through their eyes and I didn’t like it. “CHAN!” Soonyoung hyung called, I jumped at his sudden outburst, expecting him to hit me on the for not concentrating. Instead he hung an arm around my shoulder and whispered against my ear, “Break up with Taehee already, you obviously like Ayun. From the way you were staring at her… I’ve never seen you like this Channie.” I stared at him, a little confused with what he said but rolled my eyes anyways, shrugging his arm off my shoulder on the way. I scurried off before her could say anything else and began to practice my rapping. Before I shut the door behind me I spotted Ayun linking arms with Mingyu, walking out the door. ‘What? Are they dating?’

I quickly told Soonyoung hyung that I’m going to the bathroom and jogged down the hall, trying to find Ayun and Mingyu. I ran past a staff room but backtracked after hearing Ayun’s voice. I leaned my ear against the door and tried to listen.

“Mingyu… I’m not going to be here for a while.” Ayun whispered

“What? Why?”

“Sh… keep it down. I got in trouble.”

“Why?”

“Taehee… god I hate her so much.”

“What did she say?”

“She said that my dad’s in prison and I dirnk and everything… and luck seemed to be on my side because that’s when PD came in.” she sighed heavily and the room stayed quiet. “J-Just don’t tell Chan. Taehee’s his girlfriend and I don’t want to talk bad about her.” Well didn’t she yesterday?

“Ayun, how many times do I have to tell you, YOU LIKE CHAN! As much as I hate to admit it, you like him.”

‘As much as I hate to admit it’ does that mean Hyung likes her? My blood started to boil but I continued to listen.

“I don’t know where everyone got that idea, the other day Wonwoo came up to me and… he was just different from the shy boy. Very different.” What did Wonwoo do to her? Did he force her to kiss him or did he- Chan, you’re over thinking.

“Yunnie, you listen to me and you listen good. Chan doesn’t like Taehee, he likes you! And you like him too! Just …” I straightened my posture and decided to leave before they figure out I’ve been eavesdropping. I turned around and jumped, “T-Taehee, what are you doing here?” She tilted her head and smiled, “What are you doing here Oppa?” I shrug and drag her away, “Taehee… We have some talking to do.”

I was dragging Taehee into another practice room that not a lot of people go to, “Oppa, where are we going?” I let go of her wrist and fumble with my shirt, “Taehee… look. My hyungs… and Ayun don’t seem to really… agree with this relationship. And they’re really important to me.”

“They should be able to tell you who to date.”

“I know Taehee… but I don’t think this is working out either. I mean I don’t want to take it any further, we didn’t kiss yet which is go-” She suddenly grabbed my wrists and pinned be to the wall, our arms hovering about us. She grabbed my hands and places it on her waist, while she placed her arms around my neck. I wanted to escape but I couldn’t, I couldn’t move. I stared at her with wide eyes, until she slowly leaned forward.

AYUN’S POV

You were walking around the building, trying to clear your head. Why did everyone think you liked Chan? When Chan was in a relationship. You spotted a door that you haven’t seen before, you looked at the label beside it and it read, “Practice room #4” you shrugged and opened the door but you quickly regretted it. You stared at the scene in front of you, Chan’s hands were gripping onto Taehee’s waist while Taehee had her arms around his neck, and their lips were connected. It all processed through your brain and you quickly slammed the door shut and ran down the hall towards the main entrance. Hoping the image would clear and not haunt you for the rest of your life. You only realized the jab in your heart deepened ten times when you stepped foot out of the company, the uneven heartbeats and your head was starting to throb. You shook your head, No Ayun You’re not going to like someone again.

Okay... I really feel like this chapter wasn't the best... but next chapter would be better :D (i hope)
