I sit in the passenger seat watching EunGyul as he drives. He could feel my glaring and it made him uncomfortable, but I didn't care. "You didn't explain what the plan was." I tell him blankly, earning an annoyed exhale from him. "You never told me your plans, but I went with them anyway, didn't I? What happened to trust?" He asks.

 

"Trust flew out the window when you just confessed how you truly felt." I snap. EunGyul sighs.

 

"Joon, it's something that happened in the past. I want to let it go, but you just keep pushing."

 

"You're hell right I keep pushing! You're my only true friend and even you don't trust me."

 

"Joon, we're best friends! You're my best friend too, but I can't help feeling the way I do! I can't change it so I've decided to live with it."

 

"So you decided to live with a lie. Because that's what you're doing."

 

"And you're certain it's a lie."

 

"Damn right I am! It's about me, how could I not be certain? You seem so damn uncertain, I can't get through to you!"

 

"Should I pull over again and show you just how damn uncertain I am???!!" EunGyul shouts. I look at him shocked. Seems like I pushed it too far again. 

 

"Pull over for what you er? We have business to handle!" I snap. Changing my tune.

 

EunGyul takes one hand off the wheel and uses it to slap me in the back of the head. "Ya!!" I snap at him. "If you keep playing this game I'm going to have to really handle you sooner or later." He warns. "Are you threatening me now? Ah, so you're a er AND a hitman." I say. As result EunGyul takes his hand again and uses it to slam my head into the dashboard. I try to hold in laughter as I rub my forehead in pain. "Wae????" I ask. "Keep thinking it's a joke." EunGyul repeats, pointing to me, eyes still on the road. I was use to his physical abuse and I'm sure he was used to my verbal abuse, so I just shrug it off. "I hate you." I conclude, still rubbing my forehead. "I hate you too." EunGyul repeats. Just then my phone rings. I don't feel like reaching for it so I ignore it. 

 

"Hurry up and answer it, unless you want a twin sister for that knot on your head." EunGyul threatens. "You know I'm getting sick and tired of your threats." I tell him through gritted teeth as zi reach in my pocket to grab it. He raises his hand to assault me again...

 "Hello..."

 

"Joon! It's me, Rachel." My eyes widen in disbelief. "Why are you calling--"

 

"Joon you can put aside your hate for me for just a moment, okay??!"

 

"No, that's not what I meant...I'm just shocked you called. Is something up? I thought you were with Alex."

 

"Yeah, well now he hates me and he's on his way to kill Chief himself right now."

 

"WHAT??!!! WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HIM??!!"

 

"I tried! That's why he hates me now! Look Joon, they have been watching you guys since day one! You never escaped, he let you think you did. He has pictures here of EVERYTHING! All of us! Even personal photos!! He knows everything! And now he's kidnapped Taemin!"

 

I put her on speaker so EunGyul can hear as well. "Alex is going to kill all of is if we don't get him back." She continues. I massage my temples. Everything was getting so hectic!

 

"Okay, so where are you now?"

 

"We're all at Alex's house! Jisoo is here with Junhyun, he got beaten pretty badly trying to protect the kids..."

 

"Who the hell is Junhyun?? Okay, just...and Jisoo knows he's not a fighter!!"

 

"It looks like he held his own to me...But Joon! There's more okay? I'll tell you about when we get to Busan!"

 

"Busan?? We just left Busan!!"

 

"Well turn back around!! That's where Alex is headed!!"

 

EunGyul takes this time to speak up. "What does he have on me? You said the photos included all of us."

 

"That.......

EunGyul...I think it's best if I just show you guys in person." She answers. 

 

"Okay...whatever, just bring as many of those photos as you can and meet us back at Chief's. We're turning around now."

 

The tires screech as EunGyul busts a U-turn right in the middle of traffic.
