Doyoung

Finito (maybe Reposts and Continuations on on tumblr!!)

I come downstairs to find my little sister cooking in the kitchen. "What's the occasion?" I ask, pouring a cup of tea. She swats my hand with a spoon causing me to draw back in pain. "Aggh! What the hell?!" I snap. She shakes the spoon. "You haven't even washed yet. Go wash." she says. "Who's house is this again?" I ask her, smartly. She rolls her eyes and goes back to her pot on the stove. I grab the teapot again. "I don't like kimchi jjigae." I say, setting it down and leaning on the counter. "This isn't for you." she says cheerfully. "Really? Are you eating it all on your own?" I ask, sipping my tea. "I invited Leejoon over." she continues. I nearly spit out my tea. "WHAT?!" I shout. She shrugs. "I asked him to come over and he said sure." she explains. "Miyoung, did you forget how much he hates me?" I ask her. She shakes her head. "I didn't forget, but I plan to change that tonight. If we're going to get married you guys will have to overcome your differences." she says. "This isn't about differences!" I snap. She looks at me like I'm crazy. "Hey...what's with your temper lately?" she asks me. I sigh. "I don't really know." I responde. She just looks at me for a while, then sets the spoon down onto the counter. "Is it that foreigner girl?" she asks putting her hands on her hips. "Of course not." I say. At least I didn't think it was. "Have you tried to call her?" Miyoung continues. "Yeah but she isn't answering. Maybe she's busy." I say. Miyoung rolls her eyes. "So that's it." she mumbles. "Ya! This has nothing to do with her! It's about bringing my highschool enemy here!!" I shout. Miyoung picks up her stirring spoon again without a word. "Whatever. If you want to stay when LeeJoon comes you're more than welcome. If you don't then...what the heck?" she concludes. I scoff. Was she seriously mad at me? She invited my arch enemy to my house. MY HOUSE!! And she's the one that's upset? How the hell does that work?

Turns out, Rache didn't make it to the parent teacher conference with Junhyun's parents but there's a couple of things I've learned. His father was a douche. His mother seemed more to herself and came off as a very fragile woman but I feel like her husband abuses her...I gave her my business card just to be safe, but I sure hope my hunch is just that; a hunch and not reality. Anyway, I now have to take Junhyun and Taemin from Friday-Sunday to have them spend time together. It was Mrs.Woo's suggestion but it wasn't such a bad one. So I was on my way to pick up Junhyun but his father wasn't home. "Taemin-ah maybe we should come back tommorrow. I don't think he's here." I say, waiting ooutside. "No. He said his dad leaves him at home. His parents work alot." Taemin explains. "kinda like you." he adds. I sigh. "I don't work that much kiddo." I tell him before opening the car door. I walk up to the little tiny door. This place was crazy! It was like a netwirk of ouses with super steep steps leading up a hill. I knock on the door a couple of times until little Junhyun looks up at me. "Are you all done packing?" I ask him. He nods slowly, grabbing his bag from behind the door. We walk in silence to the car. The kid was super quiet, kind of like me when I was his age. "You and Taemin are going to get along this weekend right?" I ask him .He nods slowly. I smile and ruffle his hair. "Alright then." I say opening the door so he could climb in.

When we get home Junhyun looks at our house, obviously amazed. "Taemin...you live here?" he asks quietly. Taemin shrugs. "It's not so great. Want me to help you with your stuff?" he offers. Junhyun shakes his head and opens the door. "Do you want to stay in Tea's room or do you want your own?" I ask him. He looks at me. "My own room?" he asks. I nod. "I never had my own room..." he says, then turns quickly to Taemin. "Can I stay in your room until I'm comfortable?" he asks. Taemin shrugs. "If you really want to." he says before walking inside. I close the door behind me. "you guys want a snak first?" I ask. Junhyun is too busy looking around the house to notice. "Can I really saty here?" he asks in awe. I nod. "Every weekend." I say. junhyun looks like he's about to cry and Taemin puts his arm over his shoulder. "At least I have someone to play with. My dad is really boring. All he ever does is work." he says, leading Junhyun upstairs. I smile at the two of them but I really began to worry about Junhyun. He reminded me so much of myself that I wanted to help him. He didn't deserve the life he was living. He was only six for god's sake!

Chapter 22: This is really good. Even though it still has the mystery of why each character is connected it's easy to follow.
