"Ya! Kim Taemin! Apologize now and don't make me repeat myself!" I shout to my son. He crosses his arms stubbornly. "I won't!" he exclaims. I put my hands on my waist and stare at him in disbelief. "Who taught you to be so stubborn? Apologize!" I repeat, even though I was sure I wouldn't have to. "No! I meant what I said!" he shouts, stomping his feet. I seriously don't know what to do with this kid. "Kim Taemin, if you don't apologize you won't be able to go on tommorrow's fieldtrip." Ms.Woo says sweetly. "I don't care! Who wants to go to a stupid museum anyway?" he respondes smartly. Just then Rachel walks in. I sigh in relief. "Is this?..." Ms. Woo begins, motioning to Rachel. "His aunt." I clarify. She looks confused but doesn't ask anymore questions. "What's going on?" Rachel asks. Taemin clung to her leg. "Do you want to explain yourself?" I ask him with my arms crossed. "Hmmph!" he grunts, turning his head the other way. "Taemin what did you do?" she asks him. "I told Junhyun to shut up and that he didn't know anything and that he was stupid and poor." he mumbles, cheek pressed against her leg. Her eyes widen. "Taemin! Why would you say something like that?" she asks him sternly. He starts to cry, and she kneels to his height. "It's not cool to be a bully, Tae. You know how I feel about bullies." she says. "And that's not all." I add. "There's more? What else?" she asks. "I ripped up his picture and kicked him." Taemin sniffles. "Taemin, I'm very upset with you, you know that?" she asks him. He nods, eyes and nose red from all the crying. "You're going to have to apologize to that boy." she says and Tae min goes out of it. "I can't! I can't!" he screams, stomping again. "I won't! I'll say it again! I'd say it 100 times!" he cries. Rachel looks really hurt. "Why? Why can't you?" she aks him. "He said I was an orphan and nobody wanted me! He made fun of me because he has a mom and I don't! He said money was all that I had and that I was going to die with it!" Taemin explains. My heart drops. He didn't explain this to me. Rachel sighs, pulling him into a hug and his hair. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry." she says. "That still doesn't justify what you said though. It was wrong and I don't like it. When someone hurts you you shouldn't hurt them back." she explains, wiping his tears. "Why not?" Taemin sniffles. Rachel smiles. "Well because that person may already be hurting. Maybe Junhyun didn't mean to hurt your feelings." she proposes softly. Taemin shrugs. "I don't care if he's hurting. He can't talk about my mom." he concludes. "I understand that but try to understand Junhyun. Talk to him and make ammends." she says. "Be nice and make things right." she clarifies when she sees the confused look on his face. "Your dad and I will see if we could meet with his parents, okay?" Taemin nods and Rachel stands. "Do you think that's possible?" she asks Ms. Woo who appeared to be in daze. "Wha? Oh! Yes, yes of course." she stammers. Rachel nods and looks at me with concern.
