[L.Joe's POV]

Mid-October, the breeze begins to stir as we head deeper into fall. I had just taken a nap, only to realize ~~~~~ was not beside me or in the apartment. I looked out in the balcony to see her in the playground with little kids. She grabs a hand full of dried leaves and begins to form a pile with the children. When the pile of autumn leaves finally grew large, ~~~~~ ran across the playground with the children by her side as she links their hands and runs straight at the pile. I can hear her cheerful shriek as she jumps in with the children; laughing as the leaves burst like a volcano would. I smiled at the sight as I placed my hand against the screen wall, wanting to reach for her at such a far distance; which is extremely dangerous, so I quickly got dressed in the proper attire and ran to the elevator to meet ~~~~~.

“~~~~~!” I heard my name being called as I turned around to see L.Joe Oppa in his blue scarf wrapped snuggly around his neck. I simpered as I couldn’t help but feel overjoyed when he wore the scarf I made. The children were staring at me as I looked down at them questioningly.

“What’s wrong, little ones?” I asked them as I kneeled to meet their eyes.

“Is that Unnie’s prince?” A little girl asked innocently as she was pulling on her pig tails.
I blushed immediately, and covered my cheeks to prevent them from seeing.

“It’s Noona’s boyfriend, right?” A boy exclaimed as he tells the others.

“Yes,” I smiled shyly and felt a pair of arms wrap around me.

“I’m this pretty girl’s boyfriend!” L.Joe Oppa said proudly; I couldn’t help but chortle, my hands still on my cheeks. My fingers began to burn as my cheeks were radiating with heat.

“Is Unnie going to marry the prince?” The same little girl asked, looking at the other kids who eyed L.Joe Oppa and I full of curiosity. I opened my mouth to respond, but nothing came out. I was speechless because I didn’t know how to answer. Then all of a sudden, L.Joe Oppa pulled my face towards his as he planted a kiss my forehead. 'Does that mean he already read the letter?'

“Definitely,” L.Joe Oppa said without hesitation, looking at the kids as I bury my face into his chest. ‘Babo! Don’t do things in front of children!’ I thought madly as I mentally slapped myself to get a hold of myself. All I heard was laughter from L.Joe and the children. ‘How embarrassing.’ I shut my eyes tightly, but couldn’t help but smile like a fool.

[Myungsoo's POV]

I was reading a novel in the living room when I heard a shriek from outside. It sounded like ~~~~~ so I paused to go out of the balcony to see if it was her. There she was playing with little kids in the leaves. I placed my arm against the screen wall as I looked at her from a far. Her cheeks began to become rosy from running in the cool air. I noticed that each time she breathes out I see her breath. Her smile glistens as the sun hits her face at an angle. I sighed deeply as I couldn’t help but smile when she does. I told L.Joe that I have given up on ~~~~~; but that doesn’t mean I still can’t love her the same way. However, there’s this small pain in my chest that’s been bothering me ever since I began dating Haneul.

‘Is it because I feel guilty for using her? Or is it because I’ve given up on ~~~~~?’ I couldn’t figure out the pain as I placed my hand against my heart, wanting the rising pain to stop. My phone vibrated as I took it out of my pocket, knowing it was most likely Haneul.

“Haneul,” I said out loud when I read the caller ID. ‘Should I answer?’ My heart began to beat painlessly as I answered out of guilt.

“Hello?” I answered blankly.

“Oppa; hi!” I heard Haneul giggle. Her laugh tickled my ear as I unknowingly pulled my lips into a smile.

“What’s up?” I said, still looking over at ~~~~~ until L.Joe came out to greet her. I turned away, knowing something will happen if I watch. I sat back down on the sofa and resumed to readi
