I really like you... As a friend?

Tao had waited for the girl to go out of the building. It was the end of her school day… It had become an habit for him to wait for his only girl friend…

He couldn’t help but feel something strange about her… He somehow knew she didn’t feel the same way but a crazy hope was always in his heart… Who knew if one day she wouldn’t be attracted to him the same way he was to her…?

In fact since the first time he had catch sight of her in the school hallway he had been intrigued by her. Later on he had been even more interested in her…

He liked the way she was passionate for drawing. He liked the way she was great at drawing what she was seeing. But what he liked even more about her and what had made him fall for her was that her drawing seemed to be alive, to have a heart. He couldn’t help but look at her drawing of him as a wolf each and every day. And each time he felt as she had reached her heart and showed his true self by a drawing…

He knew his friends had seen him look at the drawing for hours and he felt like they knew something about his whole attraction for Yina but they hadn’t said anything if you didn’t take account of the numerous teasing he was used to have from his friends.

It was as if they couldn’t help but about Yina…

Now he was an adult and he really wanted her to realize how much he cared for her. He had grown up with her. She was his best friend and the one he really trusted. He had told her his every secret... Except that one… He was afraid of rejection. He was afraid she wouldn’t accept him. In a single word he was insecure about her loving him back.

And he wasn’t ready to hear that she “loved him but not that way”…

He smiled as he saw her petite figure coming right at him.

“Happy Birthday Yinaaaaaa” he said as he took her in his arms and hugged her tightly.

It was the only time in the year that she agreed on him hugging her so he had to take advantage of it.

“Thanks Tao.” She smiled at him making his heart stop.

“You’re welcome princess. So how is it to be old?” Tao joked. Yina was several months older than him and he loved to with that.

She pouted faking to be hurt but failed and couldn’t help but smile.

“It feels like every day… Except that today I’ll have plenty of gifts… Right?” She watched Tao with anticipation, knowing that the boy knew what each of the wolf of the pack had bought for her.

“I won’t tell you… Or else they won’t trust me ever again and I don’t ever want that to happen!”

“Come oooooon please?” She watched him with puppy smile.

He knew one of her biggest fault was curiosity.

“If you tell me I’ll give you a hug…”

Wow… She was surely quite curious this year… But he was in the mood for some teasing…

“Well… I don’t know… I had my share for a year so…”

He saw Yina trying to think. Doubt was written all over her face as she finally told:

“If you tell me I’ll give you a kiss…”

I'm so sorry about the lack of update for several days... My life is crazy (Yay work...) I don't have time to write (or see my friends... like really) and it's killing me... But I'll try to update each and everyday (enven a short one) from now on even if I may not be able to... I will try for sure! *pinky promise*
