Dreamland…?

HyeMin smile was the brightest Tao had ever seen on her face… TaeSun, Ara’s brother finally visited her and he had just taken his sister’s best friend hand in his.

Her laugh was also lighter than usual. It was a laugh Tao had never heard coming from .

Her face shined so much it seemed it was lightened by a sun ray.

Her eyes twinkled each and every time she exchanged a look with TaeSun.

And Tao couldn’t help but feeling sad. He couldn’t help but feeling a weird pain in his chest.

A pain he knew too well.

A pain he didn’t know he would feel by seeing his new best friend happy.

A pain that was both called jealousy and love.

He looked over at the couple and saw the man leaning at HyeMin to whisper something in her ear.

He couldn’t take it anymore.

Walking to his room he slammed the living room door after him.

After all she didn’t really care about him otherwise she wouldn’t behave like that. He had never thought she would behave that way in public with a guy whoever it was.

A knock could be heard on the door.

“Can’t you leave me alone? Are we supposed to be on each other back every time someone isn’t ok?”

“No we can’t.”

“Because we know what’s happening.”

“And we think we could help you…”

SuHo and BaekHyun’s voices could be heard from the other side of the door and the boys entered without waiting for Tao’s answer.

“Come on Panda you can’t behave like that when someone pay a visit. It’s really rude…” SuHo scolded the youngest.

“And you shouldn’t behave like that at all… If something isn’t right then just tell it to us!”

“I… I don’t like TaeSun that’s what isn’t right.”

“… You mean you don’t like how he behaves with HyeMin…” SuHo smiled gently at his “son”.

“Am I that obvious?” asked Tao quite taken aback by Suho’s remark.

“Well… yes you kinda are… but there is worse…” BaekHyun added

“What do you mean? What can be worse than that?”

“Well… You don’t realize it but… You’re awfully oblivious too…”

“I don’t understand…”

“You’re behaving like a jerk because you saw TaeSun take Hye’s hand… ok so what about it?”

“What about it? I’ve been hurt once. I don’t want to hurt another time. I really don’t.”

“Haven’t you realized that Hye is always looking at you? Like ALWAYS?” SuHo almost shouted while chuckling.

“I… no… She… She isn’t…”

“She isn’t what?  She is really patient with you so wake up Tao…”

“She has always been there for you when you were angry, sad or depressed since the very first day you met…”

“Just… WAKE UP!”

Jumping with surprise Tao did wake up on a dark living room, a drama playing on the television screen in front of him and HyeMin’s head still on his shoulder as she was in a deep sleep.

Tomorrow was her birthday and he just knew what he wanted to gift her.

So here is today's chapter... I'm sorry it's that short but I don't have ùuch time to write because It's my birthday...! (and YES as the shameless author that I am I did plan HyeMin's birthday to be next to mine lol)
