Loneliness

It was the beginning of the afternoon and the beach was a desert.

Tao walked along the shore, lost in his thoughts.

He loved this feeling. He loved to feel the warm sand molding his feet as he walked…

He loved to smell the sea perfume, this salty and yet sweet perfume he had always loved since he was a little boy…

He loved the silence surrounding him letting only the waves doing their background music as they crashed with one another.

It was his oasis, his moment alone… He loved being a pack with the guys but from time to time he couldn’t help but need some space…

It reminded him of the long walk he used to do with his parents. They were used not to talk but just be walking on the shore, letting the relaxing atmosphere take away their worries.

And Tao really hoped the wind would take away his worries and pain.

He was worried of being jealous of BaekHyun. He was suffering to see Yina with him. Both feeling were forever fighting, letting him confused and even helpless than he already was.

Since the day BaekHyun had been back, he had to admit that he had done all he could to avoid them but still he couldn’t be missing for some occasion like yesterday, for the pack meeting or most of the lunch they used to take all together.

Sure he had faked being ill on several occasion just to avoid to see the couple but when he had realized Yina was worried sick because of him he had also faked a sudden recovery…

His heart and mind kept on repeating the same scene over and over again, and each time he felt like a dagger had been plunged and twisted in his heart.

He picturing on seeing BaekHyun and Yina kissing.

The day before, he had entered BaekHyun’s room to ask him something only to find the couple enjoying some time aside from the rest of the group…

And Since that moment, Tao couldn’t help but being mad at himself. He should have predicted that they were together.

Why was he so naïve? He couldn’t be blind; their love was too obvious to be forgotten.

But his love for Yina was also too strong to be swept away that soon.

He closed his eyes as tears came out.

He knew most of his friends knew what was going on with him.

What they didn’t know was how hard it was, they had never experienced anything like that.

Sure everybody had been cool with him since BaekHyun’s return but he knew they were also so very happy for the older one.

And since SuHo had returned with Ara the same question kept on repeating on his mind:

Why wasn’t he given the right to happiness too?

And each time Yina’s face appeared in front of his eyes only to be replaced immediately by Yina kissing BaekHyun.

His body crashed on the sand as he curled up and cried his heart content.

When the night felt the young boy was still on the ground…

Poor Tao... I can really picture him... I feel aweful making him that sad...

I hope you won't be mad at me though... please don't!
