(A/N) I will be putting the English parts in Red, so it’s easier for everyone to read (There’s gonna be so much ‘english’) OTL

As Changjo continued to rub his head, Rachel sat down next to Emily.
“Uh...when did you get here?” she asked.
“I came here around early morning; your mum picked me up and dropped me off before going to work.”
“She didn’t say anything?”
“She just said the standard ‘make yourself at home’ deal.”

Rachel nodded.

“How long are you going to stay here?” Changjo asked.
“So he can actually speak English?” Emily snickered.
“Shut up. I...not too good with it yet.” Changjo’s cheeks burned red.
“He’s cute!”
Changjo pouted, while Rachel smiled lightly. “I’ll just be his translator.” She said.

“I'm going to be here for a year.” Emily said, her hand reaching into the bag of chips on the table.
“I need to familiarize you with Kpop then,” Rachel replied.
“Kpop?”
Changjo smiled. “Rachel, tell her that I'm an idol. A world famous idol!”
Rachel looked at him. “Seriously Jonghyun?”

Emily sat quietly, listening to the Korean conversation.
“Changjo says he’s an Idol.”
“Idol? Like a celebrity?”
“I'm in a band,” Changjo said proudly, his thick Korean accent making Emily snicker.  
“Jonghyun, shut up. You’re making yourself sound so stupid,” Rachel couldn't hold back her smile.
“Look look, she’s buying it!” Changjo replied.
“You’re in Teen...Top?” Emily cocked her head to the side.
“H-How does she know?!” Changjo looked at Rachel in shock.
“They were playing it in the airport...singing about soup or something...”

Rachel and Changjo exchanged glances, before Changjo lightly let his head fall on the table.
“What’s wrong with him?”
“Their song is called Supa Luv.” Rachel snickered as she heard Changjo groan.
Emily raised an eyebrow as she realised the connection. “Oh my god, really?”
Rachel nodded.

As Rachel, Emily and Changjo proceeded to walk to the gates of the school, Emily pulled out her newly acquired Korean phrasebook.
“I doubt im going to use this anytime today...” Emily mumbled to herself.
The three walked up to the group, the mood slightly awkward as they saw the new student.
“Who’s this?” Seoul asked, smiling politely at Emily.
“She’s the new exchange student from Australia; she’ll be with us for the year.” Rachel replied.
“Ah! My name is Mizuki! Welcome to Korea,” Mizuki bowed, and Emily bowed in reply.
“Hello, I'm Seoul.” Seoul bowed low, Emily repeating the gesture.

“Rachel, are you wearing the ring?” Niel asked as Seoul, Mizuki and Emily began to converse.
Rachel held up her hand. “Still wearing it.”
Changjo raised an eyebrow. “Rings?”
Niel held up his hand, the sunlight glistening on the silver band on his finger. “Jealous?”

Rachel glanced at Changjo, her eyes begging him to keep his mouth shut.

“Why would I be? It’s not like she’s with me or anything,” Changjo replied smoothly.
Rachel pursed her lips. “Now isn’t the time, Jonghyun...” she thought.
“That’s true. She’s with me, isn’t she Changjo?” Niel replied with defiance.
Changjo chuckled. “I believe she is.”
“You think she’ll change her mind?” Niel crossed his arms, walking right up to Changjo.

Rachel shot Changjo another glance, hoping one of the girls would notice the fight that was going to happen.

Changjo looked back, smiling slightly. “Don’t worry, I’ve got this.” He mouthed to her. Changjo looked back at Niel, crossing his arms in reply.
“It’s not my choice to make,” Changjo said.
“Exactly.” Niel replied.
“So, why are you so touchy about it then?”
“I'm taking precautions.”
“And I'm still here,” Rachel said, standing between the both of them. “Don't talk about me as if I'm a toy.”

Changjo looked away, while Niel kept his gaze on his Dongsaeng.

“Well, I'm going to class. Ginger might be there by now,” Changjo proceeded to walk away, Niel continuing to watch him until he left.
“You two need to stop,” Rachel said quietly as she turned her back away from Niel.
“He’s provoking it,” Niel replied.
“And you started it.”

Emily continued to talk to Seoul and Mizuki, her phrasebook open. “Do you think you could all help me with these words?”
Seoul nodded. “Sure, it’ll be fine,” she glanced at Rachel, “Is she gonna meet the boys?”
Rachel shrugged. “Might as well, it gives L.Joe a chance to sharpen his English too.”
“I don't think it’ll be a problem,” Niel said, looking through their promotion schedule.
Mizuki looked at the phrasebook. “Wow, all the words here are formal. We can teach you the informal if you like,” she offered.

Emily’s eyes lightened. “Thanks so much!”
Rachel smiled, happy that Emily was fitting in, despite the language barrier. “Well, I have to take you to the office so you can get your timetable,” she began, gently taking Emily’s wrist.

“It was nice meeting you all! Including you Crab-man!” Emily waved, pointing at Niel as she said ‘crab-man’.

Seoul and Mizuki laughed, while Niel sighed deeply. “Crab man?” he asked.
“Well, that’s what it sounds like in the song!” Seoul replied with a giggle.
“Crab maaaan,” Mizuki mimicked, her laughter making the impersonation fail miserably.

Niel rolled his eyes, making a mental note to work on his own English when he got the time.

I'll try and make it up to you, but im going to the Australian KpopMusicFest on Saturday! :D Gonna go down to Sydney and watch my first ever concert!
