After months of hiding from flashing lights and paparazzi, here she was again about to enter a room where people were interested in ripping her life apart. I guess you can never hide for too long. Dara took a deep breath, looked down at her dress while smoothing it down and pushed aside the curtain that was separating her from the noise and blinding lights. It’s now or never. The second she stepped her foot out she heard her name from left and right, she was being watched by every single person in that room and she knew she was being judged. She suddenly felt scared and insecure, it was happening again. Her life would once again be decided by the media and not herself. Dara wanted to run away, run as far as she could and once again hide from these cameras, but she knew it was too late. She was already out in the open with the whole world knowing where she was.

The room was too loud, too bright with too many people. She stood there without really knowing what was going on. However, everything turned quiet for a second when she felt a hand slip into hers. The hand felt familiar and the smile that graced her face was almost a reflex as she didn’t even have to look up to know who it was. The silence was short lived as the room once again erupted into noise but this time another name was being called from every corner of the room along with hers; CHOI SEUNGHYUN!

For the next hour she answered whatever question was thrown at her. She felt as if she had never repeated the same thing over as many times she had in that hour than in her whole life. When her turn was over, it was Seunghyun’s turn. He made it known that he had known about her past and he didn’t care. He loved her for who she is and her past made him love her even more. It was in that press conference that the both of them realized how much they needed each other and that the person next to them was the one they wanted to spend the rest of their life together with. When Seunghyun had answered his last question the couple bowed and left the room. They were welcomed by Seunghyun’s family and Sanghyun. The big family came together as they engulfed Dara and Seunghyun into a group hug.

Seunghyun’s mother was the first to speak “Dara honey how are you feeling?”

“Honestly, I feel really good right now.” She smiled her breathtaking smile and everyone could not help but reply back with a smile.

“You two must be really tired, so why don’t you go back home. We’ll leave you two alone.” Hye Yoon hugged the couple again and pushed everyone else out the room. Sanghyun left after receiving a reassuring look from his sister and a pat on the back from Seunghyun.

“So let’s go home?” Seunghyun took Dara’s hand was about to set out when Dara pulled him back.

“Actually I want to do something before going home…”

“Are you serious you wanted fried chicken? Fried chicken?” Seunghyun judged the girl standing next to him as they both stood on line in Popeyes in their formal clothes.

“What’s wrong with fried chicken? I was hungry and had a craving.” Dara looked up at him when she was done finalizing her order. Seunghyun couldn’t help but laugh.

“Only you would come out of such an intense press conference and crave fried chicken.” He chuckled as he brought Dara closer with an arm around her waist.

“It took a lot out of me. Shut up. If you keep talking like that you’re not going to get any chicken.”

“Is that anyway to talk to the person paying for your food?” Seunghyun had a smirk on his face that made Dara confused.

“What are you talking about? I don’t need you to pay for my food, I have my own money!”

“Oh really? I don’t see your purse.” The smirk was slowly becoming a grin.

Dara looked down and realized she didn’t have anything with her. “!” Her purse was at home, how was she supposed to know they were getting fried chicken afterwards. She looked up to see Seunghyun almost dying from holding back his laughter.

“Ugh I don’t like you.” She turned her back to him with her arms crossed.

“Do you really think you’ll get food if you keep insulting me?” He lowered her face to be near hers. “Maybe you should do something to console me? Maybe I don’t know… a kiss?”

Dara turned her head towards him as she said “You’re funny if you think that’s happening especially here in front of everyone.”

“Alright then I guess no fried chicken.” Seunghyun stood up straight as he turned ready to walk out of the store but was held back by Dara.

“Wait! Seunghyunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn I’m really hungry! Pleaseeee!” Dara thought she could win him over by being cute and make him forget about the kiss.

“You are the one who’s funny if you think I’ll let you go by being cute.” Dara responded with a pout.

“But everyone’s watchingggggggg. That’s so embarrassing.”

“You act like you’ve never kissed me in public, plus it’s not like the whole world revolves around us, no one will notice.” Seunghyun was wrong; the moment they walked into the store they had already attracted the attention of at least half the store. They already stood out with their attire and then the fact they were both flawless did not make matters any better.

“… I’m waiting. Look it’s almost our turn to order.” Seunghyun was having fun as he playfully crossed his arms.

“Fine! But you have to bend down a little.” Dara really wanted some fried chicken. Seunghyun was ecstatic at her approval and happily crouched to meet her level. She shyly leaned forward and gave him a soft peck on the lips, and almost instantly a few “WHOO’s” were heard. Dara’s face turned red as she hid her face in his chest and let out a small squeal and multiple “I hate you so much” to Seunghyun. He only laughed as he her hair and told her ‘good job.’

“It’s our turn Dara, order.” Her order came out muffled as she said it while still facing Seunghyun’s chest.

“What? I can’t hear you baby.” Dara’s ears turned red as she heard him call her ‘baby,’ she knew he did that on purpose to embarrass her even more. She lifted her head up a little and shot him a glare while fixing her hair to order properly to the cashier, who had a very amused look on her face.

After getting their order Seunghyun asked if she wanted to eat here or at home and she almost smacked him as she said “HOME!” They walked out of Popeyes and were heading to their car when they heard someone call Dara. They looked back and it was a man who looked like he couldn’t believe his eyes.

“Dara! It is you. Holy crap never thought I’d see you in Korea!” Seunghyun was confused at the man who was now walking towards them. He looked down at Dara and saw her return his smile and she was now also walking towards the stranger.

“OH MY GOD! IL WOO!” The man took her intro a crushing hug and Seunghyun was very close to prying the man’s hands off of his girlfriend, but he didn’t knowing Dara would kill him for hurting a friend whose name was Ilwoo?

“What are you doing in Korea? I thought you would stay in the Philippines, you never came when I asked you.”

“It’s been so long. I’m sorry I didn’t call, I didn’t think you’d be in Korea, but I live here now.”

“What?! For how long?”

“Forever? I came a few months ago. I got tired so I decided I needed a change and yeah I’m here.”

“Wow. How could you not call me though?”

“It completely slipped my mind I’ m sorry! It’s just you move around a lot too so I didn’t wanna bother you and your work.”

“You? Bothering me? Please did you forget how long I bothered you to date me? I would love for you to bother me.” Seunghyun’s eyes almost fell out of his head as he heard that the man wanted to date Dara. He did not like the man a bit; he was too touchy with Dara.

“Shut up, you have a new girl every week, I’m sure you still do!” Dara laughed and playfully smacked the man on his arm.

“I’m offended, is that how you think of me? For your information I have stopped my old ways and decided to settle down. What fate though, I finally decide to settle down and here you are.” Seunghyun was getting angrier, no way in hell would another man come into the story. He had to do something.

“Well I’m sorry then I guess fate is playing with you because Dara is already taken.” Seunghyun stepped up and brought Dara closer to him as he held her waist. He saw the surprise in the man’s eyes and could not help but feel better. Ha, I win.

“Who are you?”

“Wow not very observant are you, I’m Dara’s boyfriend.” Seunghyun’s tone wasn’t exactly the most welcoming and Dara was shocked considering she never heard Seunghyun like that.

“Seunghyun! Stop being so rude, this is my friend.” Dara tried to be as subtle as possible but it wasn’t necessarily working.

“You might see him as a friend but I doubt he sees you as just a friend though.” Dara couldn’t believe her ears as Seunghyun finished his sentence and felt embarrassed at her boyfriend’s rudeness.

“I’m sorry, there must be a misunderstanding. I’m Jung Il Woo, me and Dara are just friends. I happen to play around a lot so I understand your defense but don’t worry I’m just joking.” The man set out his hand for a handshake and Seunghyun right away felt bad for what he said and took Ilwoo’s hand.

“There everything’s good now right?” Il woo was too cheerful and it made Seunghyun feel worse as he mumbled a “Yeah” in response.

“Well Dara you should give me a call later, my number’s still the same. We should catch up now that you’re here for good. I have to go now I’m actually filming a drama right now so I’m kind of busy.”

“Oh yeah, it’s fine go. I’ll call you later ok.” Once again he took her in for a crushing hug and left as he waved at Seunghyun as well. Dara turned around to walk to the car without giving Seunghyun a glance.

“Wait Dara! Wait up!” She was already in the car when he caught up. They drove home in silence and at home she once again left him behind.

“Why are you mad?” Seunghyun couldn’t take the silence anymore.

“Why am I mad?! You were so rude to Il woo back there! He’s my friend, you never see me be rude to any of your friends.”

“Well what was I supposed to do? He was flirting with you and touching you and talking about fate. It made me mad. You just forgot about me as you kept laughing with him so I had to do something.”

“That’s how Il Woo is! He jokes around a lot, he doesn’t mean any of it.”

“He said he wanted to date you! So I had to let him know that you already have a boyfriend.”

“And you think just because he said he wants to date me I’ll let him? I’m not stupid Seunghyun.”

“I know you’re not! I’m the stupid one. I felt bad okay when he explained himself! It’s just I don’t like it when you’re that friendly with guys, especially when he hugged you like that. I’m the only one who can crush you while hugging you!” Dara just stared at the man standing in front of her. Despite his chiseled jaw, his height of 6’ feet, and manly stance, he was still a kid at heart. A cute kid who didn’t know how to share and that made Dara forget her anger and step forward to give him a hug.

“I’m sorry.” He mumbled his apology into her hair.

“It’s okay. I understand where you’re coming from. But you can’t be this rude to a person just because you’re jealous.”

“I wasn’t jealous!” Dara gave him a look which made him take back his words and say “Fine, I was jealous.” She laughed and went on her tip toes to give him a kiss on his nose.

“You’re cute.”

“You just figured that out?” Dara smacked him on the arm for his conceited reply but laughed once more and once again kissed him, but this time on the lips.

“How come you can kiss me here so many times but you took forever in the store”

“Because we’re here by ourselves! Oh that’s right I’m still mad at you! I can’t believe you did that in the store today! You did it on purpose too!” Seunghyun slowly stepped away from Dara as he knew she would get violent soon.

“It wasn’t on purpose!”

“Yes it was! You knew everyone was watching and you still made me do it!” Dara reached for the small pillow on their couch and hurled it at Seunghyun’s head. He ducked just in time to keep himself from getting hit in the face. The living room soon became a battlefield as small objects flew around the room in order to hit the other person, well it was mostly Dara throwing and Seunghyun dodging. It then became a chase as Seunghyun tried to hold Dara down in one spot.

“YAH! STOP I’M SORRY!” Seunghyun finally got a hold of Dara and held her down on the couch. He was on his knees with Dara in between squirming to get out of his hold. However, Dara would not stop so he did one thing that he knew would stop her for sure. Seunghyun leaned down and kissed her. He captured her lips and this time it was their mouths battling for domination and he knew in this battle he would win. As Seunghyun predicted, Dara stopped squirming and soon the hold on her hands loosened. Her arms looped around his neck and brought him down even closer. The kiss escalated and the room was soon filled with sounds of pleasure. He moved from her lips down to and lower to her collarbone where he settled his mouth down to on her skin. Usually not allowing him to do so for hickeys were annoying to cover up, Seunghyun took advantage of her lack of denials and moved even further down. His hands moved under her to the dress off of her. As he pulled the dress off of her body he felt Dara’s fingers slowly make their way to his own shirt. She untucked the shirt and began to undo his buttons and in no time the shirt was taken off and thrown over his shoulder along with her dress. Not wanting any more distance in between them Dara pulled down Seunghyun to another kiss and from there on the silent room once again filled with moans and sound skin slapping against skin.

After an hour of amazing love making, they finally pulled off of each other. Dara not wanting to dress up again pulled on Seunghyun’s shirt from earlier while he stayed shirtless and pulled on some sweats. They sat next to each other on the floor as they finally got to the chicken they bought.

“MMMMMM, the chicken tastes even better now.” Dara was in heaven.

“Well yeah, after all that movement anything would taste good now.” He saw the smack coming and dodged it. “What did I say anything wrong? But I have to say Dara that was amazing.” Seunghyun could not stop smiling as he remembered the last hour and how good it felt. She told him to shut up and eat his chicken and he could only laugh at how different Dara could be depending on the situation. She was definitely one of the strongest people he knew, she could be a tomboy that every boy wants to be friends with, and she could also be the cutest and shyest girl alive, while in bed she was so confident and fierce.

“Why are you laughing?” Dara looked up and asked with a mouth full of chicken and Seunghyun couldn’t help but lose it. She could also be the world’s biggest fatass. Dara’s face showed her confusion but all he did was shake his head and kiss the top of her head while telling her he loves her.
