“Yoongi oppa.” Seoyeon called as she stepped out onto the porch. She looked around trying to spot where Suga had gone. Then she spotted him standing by the pool, looking into it.

She could see his back hunch forward and his head lowered. Then she knew he was crying. Her heart broke seeing him cry.

Seoyeon slid the door closed and walked towards Suga. When she was close enough to him, she reached out to touch his cheek.

Suga jumped startled that someone was there. He looked up and saw Seoyeon. He quickly turned around so that she couldn’t see him sniff and wipe away his tears.

“Yoongi oppa.” Seoyeon called gently. Suga felt a pang in his heart. The way she called his name, he loved it so darn much. It was like music to his ears.

“Oppa,” She called again. Suga felt like blowing up if she kept calling him. “Please…don’t.” He pleaded. Seoyeon furrowed her eyebrows, “Don’t what?”

Suga spun around with narrowed eyes, “Call my name. It kills me to know that you call my name, but you love someone else. Do you hate me that much that you decided to love someone else?”

Seoyeon stared at Suga with wide eyes. What was he talking about?

“Yoongi oppa, what are you talking about? I don’t hate you.” Seoyeon shook her head. “Then why do you love Myungsoo? You knew that I love you, so why love him? Why couldn't you love me like how you used to, huh?” Suga bombarded. “I tried oppa, I really did, but I couldn’t. I was lost and confused about my feelings for both you and Myungsoo that I thought I was going to go crazy. I really did.”

Suga felt his heart sink hearing that she was suffering with her feelings. “Seoyeon,” He called gently. Seoyeon looked up at him with watery eyes. Suga stepped up and cupped her face. “I’m sorry. I should have been more understanding.”

Seoyeon shook her head as a lone tear rolled down her cheek. Suga wiped away the tear with his thumb. “I’m so sorry. I was being selfish and thought about myself only.” “It’s okay oppa. There’s nothing to apologize for.”

It was silent for a moment.

“Do you…really love Myungsoo?” Suga asked breaking the silence. Seoyeon’s eyes flickered up to look at him in surprise, “Oppa.”  “Do you?” Seoyeon lowered her gaze and nodded, “I do.”

Suga let out a shaky breath, “And there’s nothing I can do to change your mind?” Seoyeon looked up at him with a slight frown, “What?” “You won’t change your mind? You won’t regret loving him?” “Yoongi oppa, what are you talking about?”

“Your love for Myungsoo.” Suga replied. Seoyeon connected her eyebrows together, “What?” Suga swallowed, “If…you really love Myungsoo and…I can’t change your mind…then I’ll accept the fact that…you love Myungsoo and not me.”

Seoyeon stared at Suga with wide eyes, “Oppa.” Suga let out a dry laugh and stepped back, rubbing his neck. “I’m saying, if you really love Myungsoo then I’ll back off.” Seoyeon didn’t know what to say. He was letting her go. He was sacrificing his love for her to be happy.
