Tick Tock Tick Tock
My Life is a Disney MovieRen’s POV
I panted harshly; it was a long time ever since I have fought so hard with my life before. Aron was relentless. While I struggled against him, he remained untouched and unaffected. He stood before me with cold eyes and robotic movements.
“What’s wrong? Tired already? You truly are weak,” he sneered.
I wiped away the sweat at my brow and straightened with a determined. “As if. I won’t let you do this.”
He moved into his stance again while I fumbled my way into mine. “Then, come at me.”
Letting out a battle roar, I charged at him with my fist pulled back.
Eun Mi’s POV
I stepped out of the car, the three guards from before by my side immediately. The doctor skipped to me gleefully and motioned for us to move forward. As I walked up the steps of the school with the three guards moving robotically around me, I glanced around sadly at the beautiful school I came to love.
I remembered a time when I was downright flabbergasted at my transfer to this school. Now, all I can think about are the many good memories that happened here. We passed the hallway where I first met Kris, the closet where I met Su Ho, the gym where I met Tao, the computer room where I met Jong Dae, the classroom where I met Lu Han, the music room where I met Yi Xing, my locker area where I met both Se Hun and Jong In, the science lab where I met Kyung Soo, and many more places. The library brought memories of Baek Hyun and the cafeteria of Chan Yeol. Catching a glimpse of the track outside, I thought of Min Seok.
I wondered if they thought about me.
Then again, they think about me all the time.
We entered a part of the school I don’t remember. It was a deserted hallway during school hours. A lot of rumors surrounded this area. I never ventured into here because I did not think it was worth checking out. Until now.
“Right here,” said the doctor. He stopped in front of a plain wall with a smirk. One of the guards stepped forward and touched the wall with his finger. Immediately, the plaster and cement disintegrated as if his touch was acidic. Behind the wall was a dark passage that led underground.
A guard pushed me forward, and I bit back a snarky remark. I can walk, you know. Reluctantly entering the dark passage, I glanced around at the dark surroundings. It smelt humid in here; I could feel the moisture on my skin.
It wasn’t long until we reached the end of it, and the stuffy passage opened up into a huge sanctum. I gazed around in awe at the beautiful, stone walls, glistening with moisture. I couldn’t believe that this was what was hidden underneath Epik High.
In the middle of the sanctum was a large tomb. That must be the chest. I expected an actual chest, but it looked more like a casket built into the floor of the sanctum. On the top of it were several lines connected to each other etched on the surface. The lines traveled off the top and down the sides of the tomb to the floors of the sanctum. In the middle of all the lines though was a large space, enough for a person to fit in it. Above it was clear crystal that illuminated the entire room.
“Put her there,” the doctor ordered, pointing to the space in the middle of the tomb. I paled and realized what the lines were for.
The doctor noticed my fear and grinned excitedly. “I see you’ve figured it out, haven’t you?”
As the guards dragged me to the tomb, he muttered the words that confirmed my thoughts and stuck a needle with a sedative into my arm.
“Those lines, those tunnels, are the roads for your blood to unlock the chest.”
No One’s POV
Several cars pulled up at the school of Epik High. For once, no one complained about Chan Yeol’s driving skills. And Su Ho sped past five lights as well. No, no, no, let me repeat that slowly. Su Ho sped past five lights and did not stop until he reached his destination.
EXO left their cars immediately. Infinite and BTS were called to the city for an emergency. Apparently, an army of mythical creatures started to attack the city. Whatever was going on was definitely connected.
The twelve brothers rushed into the school without a word. There was only one thing running through their minds: Save Eun Mi.
“I have her scent!” Jong In claimed, leading them toward the part of the school no one entered.
It was then they saw the burnt wall, and in front of it, three cloaked figures.
The twelve wolves glared at the two guards, sliding into their fighting stances immediately. For a while, no one moved until one of the figures charged toward them, black energy gathering in his fist.
Xiu Min froze his feet and blocked his attack. Another figure moved forward and punched the ground where several of the wolves stood, the cement cracking under his punch. While some flew backwards, Kyung Soo withstood the shockwave, rooting himself to the ground. The last figure sent sharp gusts of wind toward the wolves. Se Hun thwarted them with his own wind.
“Kris, Jong In, and Chan Yeol, quickly save Eun Mi,” Xiu Min ordered, flinching as the figure broke out of his ice. Baek Hyun immediately blinded the figure, so that Xiu Min could step away from his incoming punch.
The three wolves moved toward the entrance but were hit by a gust of wind of Se Hun’s that the figure had purposely deflected. Chan Yeol cursed and sent ball of flames toward the figure. Kris and Jong In glanced at each other warily. They knew their powers were no use in this fight. Kris did not have enough space to fly, and Jong In’s teleportation was only good for dodging. They had to get to E
