“Bye, kids, have fun!” Mei En waved goodbye to the EXO princes and Eun Mi.

“Enjoy your time together!” Hyun Mi giggled as she clung onto Mei En’s arm.

“See ya, kids! Now…let’s get some Monopoly going!” The King roared with laughter as he quickly urged his two wives to the game room upstairs. The thirteen of you waved back at them awkwardly as the door to the game room closed behind them.

Okay, now that that’s settled…

You turned around and you were faced with twelve pairs of eyes staring back at you. You shifted back in your individual seat on the loveseat and locked your hands together. You felt a blush creeping up your skin.

One, this is extremely overwhelming. Two, can I just cringe at the awkwardness? And three, what in the world am I going to say to them?

It was totally silent. If you shifted, they would move and if you sat still, they would too. The awkwardness was thick in the room that you could cut it with a butter knife (and butter knives don’t cut…they spread). You could literally hear crickets in the background like in the movies. It was five minutes into the silence when you snapped.

That’s it. This is annoying.

“So, any questions you want to ask me?” You clasped your hands together loudly and they jumped in their seats.

“What do you mean?” Baek Hyun asked in confusion. It was the same emotion that was plastered on the faces of his brothers as well. You sighed and managed a tiny smile.

“You know, vampire questions, random questions, personal questions, I don’t know. You ask.” You urged on and they all exchanged glances. Tao shrugged and he leaned forward in his seat.

“So, do vampires really sparkle in the sunlight?” He questioned curiously and you wanted to guffaw at the innocent question.

“Well, we do but we can control it. Twilight exaggerates certain aspects of a vampire but all in all, we’re pretty normal. It’s funny because they actually explain it in Twilight. The crystalline properties in my skin can be controlled. I still sparkle a little but to a human’s eye and sometimes an eye of a mythical creature, I have normal skin. However, if I miss my daily dosage of blood, the properties will falter because I need energy to control them. They’ll be back to normal though once I drink. And sometimes, our control slips and we sparkle even though we had our daily dosage.” You explained and he nodded in awe like a little boy who just experienced a magic trick.

“Are you guys affected by crosses, holy water, garlic, and all those stuff that people assume vampires are afraid of?” Lay questioned you seriously.

“Um…no, we aren’t actually. Believe it or not, vampires can get allergies like a normal human. My cousin is really allergic to garlic for example. But I love garlic a lot. Crosses and holy water don’t affect us because if they did, I wouldn’t be alive since I go to church for community service and all. The bible doesn’t affect us either. I have a thousand copies of those at home. The sun obviously doesn’t affect us. However, a wooden stake to the heart and beheading us will kill us. Oh, and somehow there’s this type of metal that can poison our healing cells and cut into our skin. It is a direct hit to the heart or mind then we’ll definitely die.” You shrugged like it didn’t matter but their expressions darkened.

“Speaking about that, what happened to you yesterday?” Kris was the one who spoke up this time around and you stiffened. The look in their eyes looked murderous and you gulped.

Oh boy…

“Um…what are you talking about?” You averted your gaze and pretended to be clueless of the events that happened yesterday.

“Don’t play dumb, Eun Mi. Tell us who did it to you and what happened.” Chan Yeol growled and it was the second time you saw him become so ferocious and furious. Twelve pairs of eyes narrowed at you and you shifted in your seat uncomfortably.

“Okay, okay, look, before I tell you, please promise me something.” You pleaded desperately and they hesitated before they all nodded in agreement.

Here I go…

“Thank you. So, I was walking back to my locker to get my stuff because it was the end of the day and I wanted to go home. When I reached my locker, I felt like I was being watched. So I turn around and then suddenly someone put a sack over my face and knocked me out. I didn’t know how long I was out for but probably not very long. I woke up in the janitor’s closet in chains and ropes and on my knees. I was blindfolded at first but then it was removed. I was then beaten up and dunked in the water without being let up for air countless times. I was cut and stepped on but I don’t remember most of the details since I took it without a word. They left me there on the floor when they were done and walked out of the janitor’s closet. Then, I tried to get out of the janitor’s closet by crawling and one way or the other, I managed to limp my way to my locker area and that’s where I met Se Hun. After that, everything is a blur.” You narrated the whole story and you didn’t dare to lift your head.

“Who did it?” Kai snarled and your eyes widened as they looked like they were ready to hunt.

“If I tell you, please promise me you won’t do anything stupid.” You quickly stood up and blocked the entrance so that if they were to leave, they would have to go through you. They groaned and nodded.

“…It was the Yoon triplets. Mainly So Hee but it was them and their posse. So Hee wanted revenge for humiliating her during the fight on Wednesday. If you already didn’t know, they have huge over possessive issues with you guys. They thought I was seducing y’all when I didn’t do anything except for Chan Yeol sunbaenim and Kai sticking to me like glue. And so, they ‘welcomed’ me when they also learnt that I transferred to Epik High from Sukira High.” You revealed and they all went crazy.

“I’LL RIP THEIR LIMBS APART ONE BY ONE!” Chan Yeol growled.

“HOW DARE THEY HURT OUR MATE?!” Kai snarled.

“Okay, guys, we have to formulate a strategy to murder them without getting noticed. Tao, Se Hun, go get the weapons. Su Ho, Chen, Lu Han and Xiumin, to the strategy room. Kai, Chan Yeol, arrange our rides. Lay-” Your eyes widened as you saw that they were ready to kill. You whistled loudly and that caught their attention.

“LISTEN UP, NOBODY IS KILLING ANYBODY! UNDERSTAND?!” You hollered from the top of your lungs.

“B-But-” They started to protest but you whistled louder this time.

“No buts. I don’t want to get in trouble and I don’t want to go to jail for murder. Besides, it’s just a girl thing. One day, they’ll grow up and learn from their mistakes. Anyways, I’m fine aren’t I? Look, I can move.” You placed your hands on your hips and stared at them with a soft smile. They looked uncertain and that’s when your stare turned hard.

“I can also kick your if you don’t calm down and sit.” You sneered and immediately, they all plopped back down on their seats together. If they were in their wolf form, you could totally see them all sitting with their tails down.
