"If I die early before the list is finished, you must promise me to finish it with him, Na Ri-ah."

I laughed off her statement before. I promised her absent-mindedly; I thought the surgery would be successful.

But it wasn't. And I was left with him and a list filled with 26 activities starting with a letter in the alphabet. Some were crossed out, others were glowing with the words 'Complete me!'. And it was my task and my promise to finish the list with Oh Se Hun, her boyfriend - or ex-boyfriend actually. 

I remember her telling me that she knew how Se Hun looked at me and said that it was alright if we dated after she died. I said that it was absolutely absurd that Se Hun liked me in any way; we barely talked. But I guess I never saw it until I actually spent time with him.

"We're done with all of them. But what's the last activity on the list?"

"L."

"L? What does it say for 'L' then?"

"Love me."
