✏ JUST A TASTE -- LAY (Exo)

Request: May I request a scenario where you're close with Baek and Yixing gets all jealous and possessive? 

Days off were rare, especially when you were an idol.

Well, you weren't but your boyfriend was, so it still counted. That being said even when your boyfriend, Yixing, had days off he didn't really stop working.

You didn't hold it against him though. You wanted him to be successful just as much as he did and you'd do anything to support him in doing so.

Even if it meant cancelling your lunch date with him.

It would have been the first time the pair of you got to spend quality time together in a month. Yet something had come up last minute and it had to be delayed until he returned. He wasn't sure when that'd be but did assure you it'd be at some point during the day.

You gave him a reassuring nod and dismissed his apologies, saying you understood and it was fine. You'd wait until he came back and then you could do something.

In the mean time Baekhyun had dragged you out to get ice cream with him. 

You and Baekhyun had been friends some time before you had even met Yixing. Your brother had been a classmate and friend of Baekhyuns during high school. Being over at your house every now and again you and Baekhyun had become friends too. He was like a second brother to you.

'I'll be there soon' the front of your phone lit up, a smile gracing your face as you saw it was from Yixing. You had messaged him the address of small ice cream parlor you and Baekhyun after you had gotten your ice cream, clutching onto your phone with one hand and your ice cream with the other.

"Let me try some" you heard Baekhyun whine, trying to pull the hand that your arm cream was in closer to his face. You the remainder of the ice cream off your lips as you tugged your own arm back, steering it away from his face and especially his mouth.

You didn't really care about sharing food with Baekhyun considering you had done countless times before. The fact people considered them indirect kisses were ridiculous you thought, how does sharing food = kissing? It doesn't. At least in your book away.

Still, you wasn't sharing your ice cream. For starters Baekhyun had his own, it wasn't your fault he was a pig and scoffed it before you had even gotten half way through yours. Second, you wanted all of your ice cream, you knew if you let Baekhyun have just a taste he would demolish the entire thing. You paid for it, you'd eat it.

"No Baek, you had your own" you said poking your tongue out playfully at him, slipping your phone into your pocket before taking another of your ice cream. You purposely made a 'mmm' as you retracted your tongue into your mouth, to tease the other further.

"I didn't get strawberry though" he continued to whine, still wrestling you for your own ice cream. You were surprised you hadn't dropped the ice cream by now, with the grip Baekhyun had trying to pull your hand towards his face.

You wasn't giving in though, you pulled your hand back with equal force.

"I dont car-"

The jingle of the ice cream parlor door caught your attention causing you to snap your head up. You saw the figure of your boyfriend, Yixing appearing through it.

You yanked your ice cream hand away from Baekhyun finally and used your other to wave Yixing over.You didn't really need to considering the shop itself was miniature compared to other cafes and eat in places you had been to, plus with the fuss you and Baekhyun were making it was hard to miss the pair of you.

"Xing-ah" you cooed as he joined you at your table, taking a seat beside you and opposite Baekhyun. He greeted you with a chaste kiss on your temple which made you scrunch your nose up in embarrassment.

You saw Baekhyun edge closer to your ice cream whilst you were temporary distracted by Yixing. You shot him a glare before lightly jabbing him in the calf with your foot. You couldn't really call it a kick, more of a poke than anything, but of course Baekhyun being Baekhyun made it out to be worse than it actually was.

"Yah, Yixing tell your girlfriend to get some manners" he hissed at you, reaching down holding the area of his leg your foot had mad contact with. You rolled your eyes at his remark.

Yixing gave you a confused look, glancing between the pair of you as Baekhyun hissed in fake pain. You simply gave him your best i'm innocent smile.

"Stop being a baby, Baek" you teased, taking a around the base of your ice cream catching the droplets that were starting to melt. You never enjoyed the taste of ice cream when it had gotten to the stage of melting, it had always tasted too sticky and harsh on your tongue. Ice cream was supposed to be creamy and soft, not drippy and horrible.

You let out a 'hmpth' sigh.

"Alright Baek, stick your tongue out" you commanded for him to do, leaning over the small table that separated you. He paused for a second before obeying, opening his mouth letting the tip of his tongue peak out.

You held your ice cream infront of his face, letting him swipe his tongue across it, scoping some of the contents off. His hand went to cover your own which was holding the ice cream, no doubt to try and take it from you before. You quickly slapped it away with your other hand.

"I'll hold it, thank you" you stated, earning a slight chuckle from the other as he took another tongue full of ice cream. You held it there a moment longer before retracting back into your seat.

You had given in. You had let him have a taste of your ice cream. You internally scolded yourself. Though at the same time, at least some of the melted outer ice cream that you disliked was gone.

You brought your ice cream to your own mouth, taking a swipe of it on your tongue, marveling in its taste.

You noticed Yixing stare at you as you did, almost in disbelief that you had let Baekhyun your ice cream twice and now you were. You didn't believe in the indirect kiss thing you hoped he didn't either. You was almost tempted to tell him you and Baekhyun had done this numerous times before but somehow you doubted that would be a smart move.

Yixing had always known you and Baekhyun were close. You had known Baekhyun way before even meeting him, it only made sense that you were. You had always told him you had more of a brother-sister relationship rather than anything more, yet watching the way you acted seemed much more than that.

Was he jealous? You were his girlfriend, not Baekhyun's. Though he couldn't help but be. Even when he had walked through the door and seen the pair of you he had noticed how couple like the pair of you looked.

"Can I have some?" you heard Yixing question coyly as you were in midlick. You looked up from your ice cream seeing Yixing gaze down at you, a hint of dimples in his smile. Boy, how you loved his cute dimples.

"Yixing, I just gave Baekhyun some" you whined playfully with a pout.

Your answer washed him of his smile, causing Yixing's lips to form into a frown.

You would give Baekhyun some but not your own boyfriend? If he wasnt jealous before he most certainly was now. Just the thought caused him to become aggravated.

You had just taken another of your ice cream, slipping your tongue back into your mouth with the creamy substance as Yixing swooped in a covered your mouth with his own. You let out a small eep at the action, feeling Yixing slide his tongue over your bottom lip before slipping it into your mouth.

You heard Baekhyun made a sound of disgust in the form of a forced gag in the background. You ignored him, feeling Yixing's tongue lightly massage over your own. You had never kissed him like this before, let alone in public!

You were breathless by the time Yixing withdrew, moving back to his original position as he ran a thumb pad over his lips. You simply stared at him in awe, still in shock.

".. tastes good" he commented, a smile too smirk for your liking on his face. You couldn't help but blush from his comment. From his face you wasn't sure whether he meant the ice cream or you. For the sake of your composure you forced yourself to think it was just from the ice cream, though part of you suspects it was both.

You were still day dreamy until you felt your ice cream being plucked from your hand. You didn't need to see who had taken it to know it was Baekhyun.

"I'm going to go see what the others are doing" he excused himself from the table, not forgetting to take the remainder of your ice cream with him. You sent him a half hearted glare for stealing the remainder of your ice cream before letting it go, waving him as he exited.

That only left you and Yixing together now.

"Shall we have our date now?" he spoke first, wrapping an arm around your shoulder pulling you closer to him in the process.

You unconsciously  your lips, tasting the last remainder of the strawberry ice cream in doing so, reminding you of the kiss you just shared. You cheeks which were already pinkening burned furiously from the thought.

"..sounds good".
