Kai walked me into a hotel.

"I booked you a place at a hotel. You'll only stay there for tonight." I nodded.

He handed me two keys and a piece of paper.

"The square one is the hotels. The one with the cover is the key to my car..." He sniffed a little.

"Tomorrow morning, go to the address on the sheet of paper. Someone will take care of you there."

"Why can't you take me?"

"I have some unfinished things to do." He started heading out the door.

"Take care." He closed the door.

I walked into the bedroom, and lied down on the bed.

Maybe if I'll sleep, I'll remember a little bit at what happened at the hospital...

I closed my eyes.

The man picked me up, and put me back on the bed.

"You've seen red?" He asked. I nodded.

"But are they gone now?" I nodded again.

"You see? They were just hallucinations."

"What's hallucinations?" I asked the man.

"Ah, I forgot you are still a child. How old are you dear?" He asked me.

"I think... I think I'm ten." He smiled.

"Still young... Hallucinations are images that's created by the mind. They seem very real, but they're fake."

"So... The red was fake?" The man nodded.

"Is hallucinations also the reason why I can't remember anything?"

The man shook his head and took out his clip board. He started writing things down while mumbling words.

"Hallucinations... Amnesia..."

"What's amnesia sir?" I asked.

"It's brain damage. In other words, the loss of memories."

"How did I get amnesia sir?" The man looked at me with pity, and went back to writing things down on his clipboard.

"An accident... A very insane accident." I looked at him confused.

"Is that why I have hallucinations?" He nodded.

I started hearing footsteps.

"Someone's coming." I whispered.

The man raised his eyebrow.

"How do you know?" He asked.

"Footsteps... I hear footsteps."

"I don't hear any-"

The door opened. 

It was the woman from before.

The man looked at me with shock.

"Mrs. Lee, may I speak to you for a minute." She nodded, and they walked out the door together.

The door closed.

They were whispering to each other very quietly, but I could hear them as if they were yelling at each other.

"Mrs. Lee, you were very close to Ms. Aesook, am I correct." The man asked.

"She was like my daughter."

"How was her hearing?" The man asked.

The woman chuckled.

"She had very bad hearing. She always had those headphones on, and had them full volume. But why are you asking me this?"

"There's something wrong with her brain, that I can't even figure out. She lost her memories, and has hallucinations. Two bad things, and probably gained a stronger sense."

"And what's that sense?" The woman asked.

"Her hearing. It's beyond normal. She heard you coming to the room." The woman chuckled again.

"I'm wearing heels Dr. Kim."

"But I didn't hear them."

"Because you're an old man, Dr. Kim." I chuckled a little.

"I'll prove that she can hear me, just by whispering her name. She probably can hear us right now."

"Like it'll work."

"Aesook." The man whispered my name quietly.

"Yeah?!" I yelled out.

I heard the woman gasp.

"Y-You're right." They walked back in the room, and the lady's face was filled with shock.

"Excuse me miss, but are you the mother of that boy?" She nodded her head sadly.

"Does she really not remember anything?" She asked the man.

He nodded his head.

Tears dripped from her eyes.

"Excuse me." She walked out the door and started crying.

"Sir." The man looked at me.

"Where's my parents?" The man looked at me with pity.

"They're somewhere right now."

"Will I see them soon?" I asked.

"Soon... Just not right now."

There was a knock on the door.

It opened revealing a lady; I assume the nurse, and a man in a suit.

"He has checked her out of the hospital." The man widen his eyes.

"She's not ready to leave yet. We need to scan her brain." The man ignored what the doctor said, and grabbed my wrist.

My head began to hurt.

That hand...

I felt it before, gripping on my wrist before.

I began to see red again.

"I already paid a large amount of money to just check her out of the hospital. If you want more, I'll give it to you."

"I don't care if you give us money, we need to keep her healthy."

"How about I sue you for not letting me have my niece?!" I could tell he was lying that I was his niece.

Dr. Kim said nothing.

The man gripping my wrist dragged me out the door.

I looked back at Dr. Kim for help, but he did nothing.

When we got out the hospital, the man whispered;

"Princess... You're coming home with me..."

My eyes snapped open.

I was sweating like crazy.

Tears dripped from my eyes.

Red.

I brought my knees to my chest and took deep breaths.

It'll hurt to remember... But I have to, if I want to know who I really am.

I looked at the paper.

Maybe I'll go now...

I headed to the bathroom to take a shower.
