“Good Morning Everybody!” Heechul yelled while walking into the kitchen where his sisters were eating breakfast.

“Good morning to you too.” Yoobin said while reading the newspaper.

“You read the newspaper?” Heechul asked while walking up to her and looking at the headlines.

She nodded. “But there’s nothing good to read.”

“Obviously……..the front page looks boring. It’s just black and white. There are like no colors.” He said stating the obvious.

“Well duh! Have you not seen one?” Yoobin asked throwing the newspaper aside.

“Yes…….” Her older brother said while walking to the refrigerator. He looked inside and got the orange juice.

“Anyway…….” Yoobin started wanting to change the subject as quickly as possible. “Where’s Jaejoong?”

Taeyeon looked up from her cereal and shrugged. “I don’t know……..he’s probably not awake yet.”

“Yeah…..I mean we stayed up pretty late last night.” Heechul added while bringing his cup of orange juice to the table. He pulled out a chair and sat down next to Taeyeon.

Yoobin agreed. “Yeah it was like around 3:00-4:00 am when everyone went home.”

“Can I ask you guys something?” Taeyeon asked while looking at her older siblings.

They both looked at her and nodded. “Sure……”

“How come you guys have such long parties?”

“Because we want to silly.” Heechul replied while patting her head.

Taeyeon shook his hands off of her and fixed her hair.

Yoobin stood up and put her dishes into the sink. “Well, I have to get going. I’ll see you two later.”

Heechul looked at her. “Whoa…..where are you going?”

“I’m going to go and hang out with my friends……” She answered while putting her shoes on. She walked towards the door and out of the house.

A few minutes later Heechul also got up. “Well, I guess I should be going too.”

“To where?” Taeyeon questioned.

“To Yunho’s house.” He answered. He got his shoes on walked out of the house.

“Dang it…..I’m all alone again.” Taeyeon whispered.

“Oh really?” Someone questioned.

She turned around and saw Jaejoong standing next to the island counter in the kitchen. “Oh……I didn’t mean to offend you or anything.” She said quickly.

“No worries. If you would like to go and hang out with your friends…..you are more than welcome to.” He saw that she was sort of scared by his appearance. That was one of the things he hated most about himself. He hated that everyone always took things seriously with him, except the old Taeyeon.

Taeyeon quickly shook her head refusing to go. “No it’s fine…..I don’t think my friends are awake yet.”

“That’s right……you guys were up until what four o’clock?” He questioned.

She nodded and hung her head in embarrassment. “I’m sorry……you could’ve went to sleep earlier……you didn’t have to wait for us. We could’ve picked up by ourselves.”

“Yes, I know you could’ve, but I am the one who is supposed to look after you guys so that you don’t cause any trouble or make any trouble.”

Taeyeon looked up. “Yes…..but we won’t tell anyone.”

A smile crawled up on Jaejoong’s face. “It really was no problem……”

She gave a defeated smile. “If you say so……”

Jaejoong slowly walked towards the table where Taeyeon was sitting at. “I’m surprised you’re already awake.”

“Well, I’m used to it.”

“I can see that.” He stated.

Taeyeon laughed at his words. “Did you want to sit down?”

Jaejoong looked at the empty chair in front of her. “Sure, why not?”

Once he sat down Taeyeon said his name. “Jaejoong?”

“Yes?”

She was curious about his background so she decided to ask him several questions. “We’re you born in Seoul?”

Jaejoong thought about it for a while. “Well, I was raised in Seoul.” He didn’t exactly know where he was born; after all he was an orphan since he was a few months old.

“Do you go out much?” Taeyeon suddenly asked out of no where.

Jaejoong looked at her curiously. “No…….not that often.”

She nodded. “Oh……”

“Why?” He questioned trying to keep the conversation going.

“I just wanted to know, you don’t look like you do.”

“Miss. Kim, Miss Kwon is here to see you.” Mrs. Shim said while walking into the kitchen. She saw Jaejoong sitting with Taeyeon and stopped. “Oh, I’m sorry was I interrupting something?”

Taeyeon looked at Jaejoong and then back at Mrs. Shim. “No, we were just having a friendly conversation. Nothing important.”

Mrs. Shim smiled in relief. “Alright then. Yuri is by the front door waiting for you.”

Taeyeon thanked her. “Thank you.”

Mrs. Shim walked away and Taeyeon stood up from her chair. “I’ll be right back. I have to go take care of something.”

She walked out of the kitchen and towards the front door.

When Jaejoong couldn’t see her any long he let out a sigh. He didn’t show it but it really hurt him when Taeyeon said that their conversation wasn’t important. Maybe not to her, but it sure was to him.

“Dara?” Thunder asked while walking into his older sister’s room.

“Yeah, what is it?” She questioned while looking up at him.

She was lying down on her pink bed reading another magazine.

“You should’ve been there last night. It was awesome! We had so much fun!” Her younger brother yelled in happiness.

She looked at him like she didn’t care. “That’s great. I’m glad you had fun.”

“The thing is…….why didn’t you come?”

She sat up in her bed and sighed. “I don’t know, I just didn’t think it was important enough for me to go.”

“Well it was.” Thunder started. “The new bodyguard was so cool! He didn’t even bother telling us to come home!” He finished. Thunder was praising Jaejoong so much that it made Dara sick.

“Okay……” Dara started interrupting Thunder’s sentence. “Why are you telling me all of this?”

Her younger brother shrugged. “I don’t know, I thought since you didn’t go you would’ve liked to know.”

She shook her head. “No, I’m fine.”

Thunder nodded and stood up from her bed. He walked out of the room and into his own.

“If she was there, she would’ve been all over him.” He whispered to himself.

“Taeyeon!” Yuri shouted when she saw Taeyeon walking towards her.

“Yuri what is it?” Taeyeon questioned.

“Well, I was going to go to the mall. Did you want to come?” Taeyeon looked down. “What’s wrong?”

She looked back up at Yuri and shook her head. “Nothing, it’s just what about Jaejoong?”

“What about him?” Yuri questioned. Taeyeon stayed silent. “Oh…..that’s right, why don’t you bring him along?” She suggested.

‘I’m not sure if he would want to.”

“Well, why don’t you ask him?”

Taeyeon didn’t know how to respond back so she gave a sigh. “Alright, I’ll be right back.” She turned around and walked into the kitchen. She saw Jaejoong still sitting down at the table. He looked so bored, and she kind of figured that because he was playing with her cereal.

“Are you alright?” She asked standing a couple of feet away from him while watching him play with her food.

Jaejoong dropped the spoon once he heard her voice. He quickly nodded and stood up. “Yeah, I’m fine.”

Taeyeon slowly nodded while she was trying to keep in her giggle. “Well, Yuri wanted me to go to the mall with her……did you want to come with us?”

Jaejoong looked surprised when Taeyeon asked him if he wanted to come along. He thought that this would bring them closer so he nodded. “Sure…….”

Taeyeon smiled a lovely smiled that made Jaejoong almost melt. “Okay, well I have to go get ready so we’ll leave in about twenty minutes.”

Jaejoong nodded and watched Taeyeon walk up the staircase with Yuri following her. He took in a deep breath and let it all out.

“Hey unnie?” CL questioned while coming into Sunny’s room.

Sunny looked up from her iPod and smiled at her younger sister. “Oh hey CL. What’s up?”

CL walked towards Sunny and sat down on her bed. “What do you think of Wooyoung oppa?”

Sunny gave a questioning look. “Why?”

CL shrugged. “I don’t know, I was just asking.”

“Well he is pretty handsome and talented. Do you like him?”

CL nodded shyly. “Yeah…..”

Sunny jumped up. “Oh my gosh! Really? Oh my little sister has a crush!”

CL pulled her older sister back down and gave her a glare. “Hey, be quiet I don’t want Seungri to know.”

“Why?”

“Because….he’ll tell everybody.”

“So, you and Jaejoong seem really close now.” Yuri stated while watching Taeyeon put her hair up.

Taeyeon looked at Yuri’s reflection in the mirror. “What makes you think that?”

Yuri shrugged. “Well I saw you guys talking yesterday during the party.”

“And?”

“Well, you guys seem to be getting closer.”

Taeyeon finished putting all of her hair up and turned around to face Yuri. “I just want him to feel comfortable. I don’t want him to feel like he can’t have fun.”

Her friend nodded understandingly. “Well, I’m pretty sure that as time goes by he’ll be more comfortable around you guys. You’re parents aren’t strict at all.”

“Yeah….” Taeyeon agreed. “But since they own very well known hotels, everyone thinks they’re strict.”

“Don’t worry about it Taeyeon. If that’s what everyone thinks then let them think that. The only people who actually do know if they are strict is the people who actually knows them.” Yuri said trying to make Taeyeon feel better. She knew that Taeyeon hated when people assume things and cause horrible rumors about anybody.

“I guess you’re right.”

Yuri grinned. “Of course I’m right.”

Taeyeon smiled and hugged Yuri. “Thanks.”

“Hey Jiyong, how are things going with you and Taeyeon?” Seunghyun asked.

Jiyong was over at his friend Taeyang’s house. Seunhyun was also there. The three of them are like the three musketeers. They always do things together.

Jiyong shrugged. “Things are going good. It’s just that we’re too busy to spend time with each other.”

“Too busy?” Taeyang questioned. “What do you mean by Too busy?”

“Well, as you know my parents are going out of town and I am going to have to look out for the company.”

“Your Limo company?” Seunhyun questioned. “What do you have to look out for?”

Jiyong sighed. “I have to make sure that the customers get the limo’s, and I have to make sure that the employees are doing there job.”

“Right………”

“We’re just too busy to spend time with each other.” Jiyong said again.

“Okay, we’re ready.” Taeyeon said while walking down the staircase.

Jaejoong was at the bottom waiting for the two girls. “So, are we taking the Kim’s car?” He asked.

Yuri shook her head. “No, we’ll be taking my car.”

“You have a car?” Jaejoong asked surprised. If it was her parents car and someone was driving her then he would understand, but if it was her own car without anyone with her he would be surprised.

“Yes, why? Do you not think that I would have a car?” Yuri questioned.

He shook his head. “No, I just didn’t think that a Kwon would have their own car. Especially someone like you.”

“Like me? What is that supposed to mean?” Yuri asked feeling offended.

Taeyeon was putting on her sandals but also listening to their conversation. She couldn’t help but giggle.

“I didn’t mean to offend you. You just look so young and you are very well known that something might happen, and if there was no one to protect you how would your parents feel?” Jaejoong questioned.

Yuri shrugged. “I don’t know. And besides I am very trustworthy and careful. I can take care of myself.”

“I am sure you can, and I never said that you couldn’t.”

“Okay fine if you think that riding in my car is problem, then why don’t we just ride in your car?” Yuri suggested. She was getting tired of this conversation that she wanted it to end.

“I don’t have a problem with riding in your car.” Jaejoong stated.

“Ahhhhh!” Yuri yelled frustrated. “Will you make up your mind?!? First you have a problem with me having a car and when I try to make you happy you say that we can ride in my car?”

Taeyeon kept giggling while making her way towards Jaejoong and Yuri. “We can ride in our car.” She said while grabbing onto Jaejoong’s arm.

Jaejoong was shocked when she did that. He didn’t know how to react.

“Let’s go.” Taeyeon said while pulling him out of the house and with Yuri following them.

When they reached the car Taeyeon reached into her purse and pulled out the key.

“You have a car too?” Jaejoong asked.

Taeyeon looked up at him. “It’s not mine, it’s my mom’s. I’m just holding onto her keys until she gets back.”

Jaejoong nodded. “But are you going to drive?”

“And if I do, is that a problem?”

“Yeah is it?” Yuri questioned with an attitude.

Jaejoong shook his head. “No, I could drive if you want though.”

“You can drive?” Yuri asked while looking at him curiously.

“Yes, how is that shocking?”

“Well, I didn’t think that a pretty boy like you could drive. I mean you seem like you don’t even have your license.”

“A pretty boy like me can’t drive? That is a stereotype. Actually I’ve never heard of that before, is this a way to get back at me for questioning you for having a car?” Jaejoong wondered.

Yuri opened to respond back but she couldn’t. He caught her. “I hate you. You are exactly how you look.”

“Pretty?” Jaejoong asked.

When Jaejoong said pretty Taeyeon burst out laughing.

“No! Mean and rude!” Yuri yelled.

“Well I’m sorry if you think that.” Jaejoong apologized.

“I don’t want your apology.” Yuri said while making a face at him.

Jaejoong gently took the keys from Taeyeon and unlocked the car. “Then I take it back.”

Yuri gasped at what he said. “Fine take it back, I don’t need it!” She yelled while getting into the back seat.

Jaejoong rolled his eyes and looked over at Taeyeon. She was laughing her head off and he couldn’t help but smile at her adorable laugh.

“Hey get in the car!” Yuri yelled from inside the car.

“Alright!” Taeyeon said while trying to control her laughter.

She got into the back with Yuri and waited for Jaejoong to get in and drive them to the mall.

“That was not funny.” Yuri said with a serious face.

“Maybe not to you, but it was to me.” Taeyeon replied while looking out of the window.
