Joon's P.O.V.

"Hyung! Hyung! Did you hear? There's a new transfer student coming to our class!" Mir shouted, dashing into the classroom. He slammed his palms loudly onto my desk, immediately waking me from my sleep.

"Huh? What? Oh. It's no big deal, Mir. There are so many transfer students in our class already." I said as I rubbed my tired eyes. 

Sheesh. What could a guy do to get some rest?

I was up all night babysitting my baby nephew and didn't sleep a wink. Now that I'm trying to catch some sleep in class, this happens? Ugh. 

"But hyung! She's from AMERICA. Isn't that just so cool?! " Mir grinned. 

However tired I was, I couldn't help but smile at Mir's foolishness. Goodness... That boy. He was always easily excited by such small matters. 

"Oh oh oh! Here comes Miss Park!" Mir whispered as he rushed back to his seat in front of me.

"Good morning, class. Today we have a new transfer student from America. Her name is In Haena. Haena? Would you please introduce yourself to the class?" Miss Park said as she nudged the new girl slightly forward. 

"Uh.. Hi everyone. I'm In Haena." she said awkwardly.

Silence replaced the loud chattering of the class when she spoke. "Whoa, hyung... She's really pretty..." Mir said dreamily as he continued to stare at the new girl. 

As if I couldn't see that. She had long brown hair with bangs that framed her small, petite face. Her  large twinkling eyes didn't seem to stop shining although she looked obviously very uncomfortable with all the attention that she was getting. All the boys couldn't stop gawking at her and the girls kept whispering jealously amongst themselves. 

"Haena, please go sit next  to..." Miss Park scanned the classroom for an empty seat. "Ah. Go to the seat next to Joon please." She said as she pointed at me. 

"Haena picked up her backpack and walked to the seat next to me. 

"Hey, I'm Lee Chang Sun. But you can call me Joon. Nice to meet you." I introduced myself, flashing a smile at her. 

Haena's P.O.V.

"Hey, I'm Lee Chang Sun. But you can call me Joon. Nice to meet you." My new table partner introduced himself as he flashed a smile at me. 

"Hyung! What about me!" A cute guy with pretty eyes interrupted. 

"Oh, uh, Haena-shii, this is my dongsaeng, Bang Cheol Yong. But he likes it better when people call him Mir." 

"Annyeonghaseyo! I'm Jeonam's pride and the apparent heir of the Yeong Ranch, Mir imnida!" 

"Well, you could probably tell he was raised in a farm. Just look at what he's wearing!" Joon chuckled. 

"HYUNG!" Mir pouted.

My eyes scanned Mir. 

Omo. That guy was covered with more cow prints than I had ever seen on a cow. 

Noticing that I was staring at his clothes, he looked at me defensively and said, " What? I miss my cow, Ah Shik... " Hearing that, I couldn't help but burst out laughing. He was just sooo cute! 

Miss Park's ears pricked up upon hearing my laughter and . "Miss Haena! This is only your first day at school! I don't suppose you want to leave a bad first impression on the class and me, do you? And you two! Stop talking and pay attention!" She turned back to the whiteboard and continued writing the math equation. 

"Hmph. That's the reason why she's still single at 43." Mir muttered. 

I hid a smile.

"Whew! Finally it's time for recess! Miss Park's lessons were so boring!" I said as I walked out of the classroom with Joon and Mir. 

"Haha! This is what we have to deal with everyday! Glad someone finally knows how we feel to be in her class!" Joon laughed. 

"Hyung! Noona! Can we quickly go eat? I'm starving!" Mir whined. 

"Aish. You and your food. Fine fine. Let's go." Joon replied. 

Halfway to the canteen, I realised that I left my wallet in class. 

"Oh! I left my wallet on my desk! I'll go back to class and take it. You guys go on to the canteen first. I'll meet you there later."

"Do you need us to go with you? It's your first day here afterall. You may not know the way back to class." Joon asked, concerned. 

"Yes, relax, I'll be just fine, APPA." I smiled.

He blushed bright red and nodded.

Joon's P.O.V.

Why am I behaving this way? My heart beats so fast whenever I see her smile. Am I falling in love with her? No, no, no. She's just a friend. A normal friend...

Haena's P.O.V.

I tried making my way back to class but I got lost.

Darn it. I don't believe I forgot the way back. Where am I now?

Ugh. My memory is really horrible!

Suddenly, a voice called out to me. "Haena-ah!" I turned back and saw Joon panting. 

"You walk really fast, do you know that? I had to run to catch up with you..."

"Joon? Why are you here? I thought you went to the canteen with Mir..."

"Nah. I told him to eat without me first. He wanted to come with me at first but once he saw the chocolate cakes, he dashed into the canteen, screaming wildly. He really loves chocolate cakes, you know." Joon chuckled. "Oh. And it's lucky I caught up with you. Class is the other way." 

As I followed Joon back, someone caught my eye.

"Hey, Joon, who's that?" I pointed.
