The bright sky was a clear, faultless blue canvas as Infinite wandered the downtown streets. Travelling as one unified group, their mere presence exuded authority—authority that was rightfully upheld by reputation and infamy. When it came to street rank, Infinite was a true force to be reckoned with. Below these streets, the city came alive at night, and while urban families and working class citizens slept on unaware, fighters just like Infinite came out to play. It was here, in this underground realm of rivalry and competition, that Infinite established their domain.

With success of such a degree came a certain level of respect, but also a level of fear, of aversion. They passed a single man on the road as they walked—a shady dealer looking to make a quick buck. But as Dongwoo glanced in his direction, the man didn't dare make eye contact. They cut through an abandoned alleyway, keeping their eyes peeled for any familiar faces. Being such prominent figures as Infinite was, a familiar face was usually one that wanted to gut you like a butcher.

Sungyeol scuffed his shoe against the pavement, disrupting the tiny pebbles and concrete dust of the cracked sidewalk. "I'm bored," he stated absentmindedly, "Nothing ever happens around here anymore."

"No one would be stupid enough to mess with us on our own territory," said Sungkyu as he let out a haughty laugh.

Hoya just shook his head slowly, "Tsk tsk, now where's the fun in that?"

Dongwoo kicked an empty aluminum can as he walked along with his hands tucked in his pockets, listening to the hollow clink of the metal against asphalt. He watched as it rolled along the ground, gradually coming to a stop near the edge of a rusty old dumpster. He didn't notice it at first, but as he looked closer, he could have sworn he saw a hand lying limp on the ground, coming out from behind the corner. He narrowed his eyes, unsure if they were playing tricks on him, and walked over to get a closer look.

"Guys," he called out, "I think…there's a body over here."

That's when he noticed that the pile of crates that should have been stacked along the wall were smashed and strewn apart, as if something had crashed right through them. He walked past the edge of the garbage bin, and his eyes widened as he swore under his breath. "What the…"

The rest of Infinite joined him, looking down at the same thing he saw on the ground.

     "What is…"

     "…"

     "Is that…"

"It looks like a girl, but…"

Indeed, it looked like an ordinary girl lying on the ground by their feet, but the all-too-noticeable wings protruding from her back were unlike anything they had ever seen before. This was far from a Halloween getup gone wrong. The white, delicately feathered appendages hung limp across her shoulders, one of which looked painfully crooked. There was a subtle glow to h

Chapter 37: Found this gem by chance, and I am so happy that I did. Literally had my mouth open in amazement the whole time I was reading this. The plot is like Romeo and Juliet with a bit of His Dark Materials (the whole aspect of 'sin') and even some Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Oh, this was just wonderful. And I suddenly just remembered that this is also like the 'Fallen' series by Tom Sniegoski. Keep up the good work, Author-nim :)

Chapter 37: It was really really good! I'm so surprise by the end though .. I just can't belive something like that happend to her. I'm glad everythings seems alright at the end. I will definatly read the prequel! (I'm the type a reader who read only when the fiction is over so don't take it wrong if I didn't comment).
I really like your way of writting. Your despcrition and vocabularyare perfect! The plot is really interesing and different from what we are use to read. That's why I think your story is a masterpiece haha.
I have a question .. where did she put her wings when she go outside ? While I read I always have this question in my head xD
I hope you will made another story with Myungsoo on the main caracter.

Chapter 37: Chinguuuuu~~~! I feel like I haven't talked to you in over a year!! (Of course I do, didn't you finish your last story over a year ago? :p) I'm not sure if I ever commented on this story, but I really had no time to comment on every chapter like I did with your previous story. School hates me.
Ok, first thing's first: the characters. Have I mentioned how much I love you for using Infinite (especially Myungsoo) as the main? No? Well, I really really really love you right now! I can't think of any group that would be more perfect for the role. Honestly, I'm not happy that BAP were evil, or that Youngjae died (since he was actually good in the end), but again, can't think of a better group for the role.
Second, the plot line. Again, have I mentioned how much I love your plots? Again, no? Well, let's just add two more reallys to the I love you! I love how the story just flowed smoothly and there was character development! Wow, you really know how to write a story! And I love everything from the simple chapter titles to the ending!
Lastly, my final rating for this story. Of course, it's another 20 out of 5 stars! You've earned it! Now, I'm going to subscribe to the prequel! Saranghae chingu~!
