Cloud Nine
Description
You had liked one of your closest friends, Jay Park, for over two years before finally confessing, only to find out that he felt exactly the same way. The thing is, you're worried that you just don't compare to his past girlfriends. You don't consider yourself very pretty, charismatic, or special in any way. Jay invites you to come along with him and his friends for a weekend getaway at a ski resort, and you head off for an unforgettable weekend.
"Well, I heard Jaebeom has a soft spot for cute girls. Everyone knows his last girlfriend was the queen of aegyo…"
"What? I can't do aegyo…" Which was true. You didn't have a single drop of cute in you. You were considerably average, calm, and insignificant compared to other girls, so you thought. You figured the only reason someone like Jay even acknowledged you was because you had already been good friends for so long.
"Well then, I guess I'd better teach you, huh?"
"…Is it really something you can just learn?"
"Well, if you know what you're doing, you can always improvise the rest. Alright, so, aegyo 101, let the lesson begin."
And by the time the trip came around, your best friend/aegyo teacher was convinced that you were ready. You felt kind of stupid trying to act cute, but you were fairly sure you could pull it off.
"I can do this…I think."
But impressing Jay may be the least of your worries. Are you truly prepared for what this seemingly perfect getaway has in store? Or will reality bring you crashing down from cloud nine?
Foreword
A short, winter-themed fluff story written upon request from a friend. I'm still cringing about writing in this style, but hopefully you lovely Jaywalkers will enjoy it ^^
