“Hey you’re in a good mood,” Bunny told me. I perked my head up.

“Why say that?”

“Well you’re smiling heaps and you’ve been humming while working. What’s really confusing is that it’s a song that for once I don’t know.”

“Why is that a problem?”

“Slots we have the same taste in music, for you to know a song that I don’t only happen in once a blue moon.”

“Oh well I guess I am happy,” I smiled big which showed how true this was.

“You two are meant to be working not chatting,” Keyonce snapped as she walked past them with her tray and the order. Bunny ignored Keyonce’s remark.

“So… Is it who I think it is?” I nodded.

“Yay!” Bunny squeezed me almost to death in a hug, “congratulations! I knew he would come around.”

“Bunny, imaginary guys don’t count for anything,” Keyonce said as she came past again, this time with an empty tray, “it’s not like Slots even has one of those.”

“Well you can meet him if you want,” I challenged, “I’m about to go his way.”

“No thanks, the joke was funny until you said that,” she scoffed walking off. Bunny lifted up a particular finger. I opened my mouth but then we both giggled. We are such cows.

“So can I meet him?” She asked excitedly, I thought for a moment.

“When is your next shift?”

“In half an hour,” I decided that he might as well.

“Yeah sure, follow me.” I watched her shake her hands in front of her excited. I had to laugh as I took her down the dining room hall to where Rain was seated. He was wearing a pair of rectangular frames that really suited him and was reading a newspaper. He lifted his head up and smiled when he saw me.

“Hello.”

“Hi,” I said unable to hide my smile, “my friend wanted to meet you if that’s ok.” Rain smiled at her.

“This is Rain Bunny, Rain this is my best friend Bunny.”

“Omg,” Bunny said leaning in to peer at him closer, “he’s so much hotter in real life than on film!” I had to do a double take while Rain had to lean back to avoid the awkward close space they had.

“Nice to meet you,” he smiled holding out her hand for her to shake.

“Oh where are my manners?” Bunny gushed taking his hand, “konichiwa.” I turned away so she wouldn’t see me laugh silently.

“Ah very good,” he said, ignoring the fact it was Japanese while I still laughed.

“Thank you,” Bunny beamed, “oh yeah,” I turned back, not liking where she was going to go with this, “can I ask you something?”

“Sure?”

“Have you guys made out?” I nearly dropped the food in surprise; Rain blinked hard.

“B-Bunny,” I could feel my cheeks heating up, “t-that is kind of inappropriate at the moment…”

“No,” we both looked at Rain. His face was hard to read this time.

“But I would like to kiss her…Maybe… Someday,” I pray to God he wasn’t joking otherwise I would have poured his coffee on his head.

“Naww that’s so cute,” Bunny said, “you can do it now if you want.” I stared at Bunny in horror.

“What the crap Bunny?!”

“Kidding, I’m just kidding,” she raised her hands up in front of her, “I need to get going anyway. See you later, she blew me a kiss and then winked at Rain.

“Bye lovebirds.” She then walked off humming away happily.

I understood why Rain wanted some time to himself, after the embarrassment she caused us both I wouldn’t blame him if he never wanted to speak to her again.

I arrived at the pool where he was with his drink, “here you are sir,” I said politely and with caution as he had a body guard with him.

“Thank you,” he sipped it and then placed it beside him. He looked up at me, I glanced back. We stared and then turned away.

“This is weird,” I said, my eyes slowly inching back to him again.

“Yes, your friend seems to be a happy person.”

“Oh, please excuse her, Bunny can be like that sometimes.”

“She’s happy for us.” I smiled.

“Isn’t it too early to say that you and I are now we?” I watched him stand and come over to me. He peered at me closely, his pupils widening and shrinking.  I blinked hard, the closeness a bit overwhelming.

“Rain…”

“JiHoon,” He reminded me placing his hands on my shoulders. I turned my head, peering over my shoulder. He took the hint and let me go.

“Did I go too far?” He asked, I looked back at him, his face showing his apology. I shook my head.

“No, I just wasn’t prepared that’s all,” I told him, “don’t feel bad please.” He nodded, his expression not changing.

“Ok,” he said simply, his bodyguard turned to us.

“Sir you need to go to practice.”

“Ah yes,” he nodded to the guard and focused on me, “I have a performance this coming Saturday; at the dining hall here.” I blinked.

“Wow, that’s awesome,” I told him. He nodded his agreement.

“Will you… be there Sam?” It was a very sincere question; it looked like he was nervous to ask it too. How cute.

“Of course I will,” I told him, “I will be working at the bar so I will be cheering for you when you’ve finished.” Rain seemed to glow at this answer, well he would if it was possible.

“I am happy you said that,” this made my heart skip a beat happily.

“I’m glad.” He started to walk away with his guard.

“See you at dinner,” he waved. I nodded and waved back.

“Of course,” I replied, my smile still on my face. I couldn’t believe that he wanted me over the blonde woman he had the other night and that I really liked him. It just seems almost perfect right now.
