True to his words, Seunghyun watched Dara in her every performance. She tried to stop him but he was very determined. He was just there, watching her as she gave her best. Somehow, Dara grew comfortable with him watching her.

 

Meanwhile, the countdown has started. Five days before the wedding, his secretary had arrived prior to wedding preparations. Now, there is only two days left before the dreaded date.

 

They decided to have their wedding in Korea instead of New York.

 

“Girls!!!”

 

“Yes? Noona?” They asked as their coordinator called them. They just finished practicing the hard dance step their trainer gave them.

 

“Dara’s fiancée is here! And he has food!”

 

“Food?? Chincha??!!!” Bom’s eyes sparkled by the mention of food.

 

“Aigoo Noona. You’ll get fatter if all you’re thinking is food.” CL scolded.

 

“Are you saying I’m fat???” Bom glared at her.

 

“Uhhmmm, no comment?” CL answered cheekily.

 

“Yah!!”

 

The two continued bickering while Dara was sitting in the corner of the room. She was very exhausted. The dance step was complicated that she had a hard time memorizing it. Because of her fatigue, she failed to hear the cordi-noona’s announcement about the arrival of her fiancée.

 

She held her knees closer to her and placed her head above her knees. She was thinking of relaxing for a bit.

 

Meanwhile, Seunghyun has already arrived in the practice room carrying food for the girls.

 

“Seunghyun-sshi~” Bom greeted. Her eyes was trailed on the food in his hands.

 

“Here. “ He handed her the plastic bag.

 

 

“Wow! Seafood!!” Bom squealed.

 

“Where’s Dara?” He asked CL.

 

CL pointed at the lone figure in the corner.

 

“She’s very exhausted. We had a hard dance routine.” CL explained.

 

He nodded then walked towards her.

 

 

He caressed her hair and kneeled so that they were eye level.

 

“Princess? You okay? I brought food.” He whispered in her ear.

 

“Hmmm…” She moaned. She was hearing something but it seems vague. She raised her head and went to look for the source of the sound.

 

“Tabi?~”  She asked through hazy vision.

 

“Yes. Are you hungry?” He gently asked her.

 

“Yeah.” She said as she rose from her seat. Seunghyun followed her.

 

“Tired?”

 

“A little bit.” She answered and was about to head to the girls when Seunghyun stopped her.

 

He got his handkerchief from his pocket then wiped her forehead. “You’re sweating.”

 

“I’m okay.” She tried to avoid his caress but failed.

 

“Stay still.” He said seriously as he wiped her sweat. “Princess, don’t overwork yourself.”

 

“I’m not.” She contradicted.

 

“Yes you are. If I ever saw you abusing yourself again, I’ll be the one to make you quit your group.”

 

“Tabi~” She was about to argue but stop herself when she saw his glare.

“Arasso.” She surrendered.

 

“Good. Let’s get you eat.”

 

Unknown to them, the girls are watching them, squealing with all their might. They witnessed again their sweet interaction.

 

“Just a little bit interaction and I’ll ship them for real!!” Bom sighed.

Soon, the two joined them. Seunghyun got her plate  and placed some food in it.

 

Dara started eating while Seunghyun was attending to her needs.

 

“Drink this. You need it.” He said as he uncapped the energy drink.

 

Dara willingly drank it. Seunghyun got another set of spoon and fork and helped her shred the shrimp into pieces.

 

“Tabi, I can handle this.” She said when she saw him helping her.

 

“Just eat. Do you want me to even feed you?” She shook her head. “Then just eat and let me handle this.”

 

When she knew she couldn’t stop him, she just let him.

The three girls looked at them with their mouths open.

 

“You can now ship them unnie.” Minzy nudged Bom.

 

“Yeah…” Bom agreed while eating a spoonful of rice and at the same time looking at the couple in front of her.

After eating, they decided to relax for a while. The atmosphere was calm. The three girls were huddled in the corner while the couple was beside them.

Seunghyun scooted closer to Dara and placed her head in his shoulders.

 

“Wae-“ She looked at him.

 

“You’re tired. Lean for a bit.” He said then patted his shoulders.

 

She sighed and followed him.

 

Then, out of nowhere, Minzy played a song.

“That’s a beautiful song.” Seunghyun commented as he her hair.

 

“Yes, It’s full of love don’t you think?”

 

“Yeah.” He answered blankly as he was staring at Dara. “You’re still tired?” He whispered in her ear.

 

“Not anymore.”

 

“Good because we’re going somewhere.”

 

“What?” She abruptly looked at him.

 

“We’re going on a date.”

 

“Bwo???” She frowned.

 

“Don’t worry. I got Uncle’s permission.”

 

“B-but w-why?”

 

“Do I have to have a reason to date my fiancée?”

“N-no. B-but…”

 

“Good. Let’s go.” He stood up and looked at her.

 

He faced the three girls, “It’s okay if Dara will go early, right?”

 

The three girls immediately nodded. “You can date her for all we care. Go. Go. Go. Dara stand up!” Bom held Dara’s arm and pushed her to Seunghyun. “Go lovers! Seize the day!!”

“Now? Where are we going?”

“You decide.” He said coolly.

“What? You’re the one who insisted in this date but you don’t have any plan where to go?” She pouted.

“Psh. But still. You’re the guy. You should know.” She complained.

 

They are now in his car. Destination? Nowhere.

 

“Fine. But don’t you dare complain.” He said as he u-turned.

“Yeah. Yeah. By the way, why did you suddenly want us to date? Hello? Tabi? It’s already seven o’clock in the evening.”

“So?”

“So? Aren’t dates supposed to be early?

“Oh? Is there a dating rule like that?” He asked.

“No. But still.”

“You’re like an expert in the dating area. How many have you dated?” He inquired.

She immediately looked at her fingers. “D-date? Uhhh… I n-never… d-dated.”

He looked at her, eyeing her thoroughly. He sighed. “Don’t worry. We’re on the same page.”

“What? You never d-dated too?” She asked enthusiastically.

“No. Just flings.”He shrugged.

She looked away. ‘Yeah. What could I even expect from him? That he never went to any woman? Of course he had.’

 

“Jealous?”

She didn’t answer him.

He smiled. He pinched her cheeks.

“Yah.”

“I’m a guy. Stop sulking.”

“I’m not sulking.”

“Yes you are, princess. Don’t worry. I’m all yours once we got married.” He looked at her then winked.

“Y-yah. Who says I want you?”

“You looking at me like that is a dead giveaway.”

“What do you mean me looking at you? What look am I exactly giving you?”

“That, I want you look. That, I want Tabi for myself look.” He .

 

“I’m not looking at you like that! Take it back!!!”

 

“No.”

 

“No?!! Tabi! I’m not looking at you like that!!!” She hit his arm.

 

“Yes you are.”

 

“No!” She looked at the window. ‘No I’m not. I’m not, right?’

 

“See? You’re even questioning yourself. Tsk. You’re not sure.”

 

“Tabi!!”

 

“Just admit it.”

“Tabi!!!!” She shouted angrily.

She followed him as he got their ticket.

“Yes. I just didn’t know this is your idea of a date. How exciting.”

 

“Right. I’m a boring person to you.” He sulked. He scooted far away from her.

 

“Tabi~”

 

“Enjoy the movie. Here.” He handed her the popcorn.

 

“Are you mad?”

 

“No.” He stared blankly at the screen.

 

“Tabi~” She grabbed his arm.

 

She looked at the screen. The movie was about to start.

 

She knows he was mad. He’s trying. He’s trying to get close to her and what will he get in return?

 

She sighed. She grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers.

 

Seunghyun looked at her. When he looked her way, she stole a brief kiss from him.

 

“Don’t be mad okay? I’ll enjoy the movie.” She smiled at him.

 

He stared at her. She was now watching the movie. Their hands are still intertwined. She acted like she didn’t just steal a kiss from him.

 

“Hand me the popcorn.” She handed him while her gaze was still fixated on the screen.

He got his hand away from her grasp.

 

“Wae-? “ Her question was hanged midair when he placed his arm on her shoulders.

 

“So I could do this.”

 

She blushed and went to watch the movie.

He smiled as he saw her blush. “Ah.” He fed her the popcorn.

 

Throughout the movie, he was feeding her the popcorn while looking at her.

He smiled as he saw her laughing at some parts.

 

 

 

The movie took two hours so it was practically 9:30 in the evening.

 

 

“Tabi~ Did you see that part? It was hilarious!” Dara couldn’t help but recall the funny parts.

 

“Yah! You watched too right?”

 

“Yes.”  ‘Not the movie, but you.’

 

“Then why are you not commenting?”

 

“Too average for my taste.”

 

“Yeah right. Nothing is ever in Choi Seunghyun’s level. Wait! Tabi! Ice cream!”

“Tsk. Childish as ever.” He said but still followed her.

“Miss? Ice cream please. Two.” She ordered.

“No. Just one.” Seunghyun corrected.

 

“You’re not eating?” He shook his head.

“Fine. One strawberry miss.”

“Here you go.” The vendor gave her the ice cream while looking at Seunghyun.

Seunghyun looked at her. She blushed and tucked her hair. She was flirting with him and he knew it.

Dara saw all the interaction. “ Miss here’s the payment and keep the change. Next time, don’t flirt with someone else’s fiancée got that? Let’s go Tabi.” She glared at her then grabbed Seunghyun’s hand.

“You enjoy flirting with her huh?” She said as she angrily ate her ice cream.

He just smiled while looking at her sulking face.

 

She tagged him along the nearby bench to sit and continued nag him about the encounter earlier.

 

“What?” She faced him. “So you really enjoyed it huh? Aish. Why do you even have to be that handsome? It’s giving me headaches.” She pouted while eating. She couldn’t enjoy her ice cream anymore.

 

He went to sit with her. “You’re really cute when you’re jealous.”

 

“Yah! Don’t talk to me.”

He smiled, still looking at her. He held her hand that was carrying the ice cream. He took a bite. “Hmmm. Not bad.”

 

“Who gave you the permission to eat my ice cream? I’m still mad at you mister.”

 

“You didn’t strike as a jealous type to me. I should know better.” He said observing her.

 

She looked away while eating her ice cream.

Again, he grabbed her hand and her ice cream.

 

“Y-yah. Why did you it?”

 

“Aren’t ice creams supposed to be ?” He answered innocently.

 

“I-it’s t-that… Aish! Buy your own ice cream!”

 

“But I want yours.”

 

“There’s nothing special with my ice cream.”

 

“There is.”

 

“There is?”  She questioned.

 

“Your saliva.”

 

“M-my saliva?”

 

“Yes. It’s like we’re sharing a kiss.”

 

“Are you saying all these cheesy lines so that I won’t stay mad at you?” She suspected.

 

“Maybe.” He shrugged. “If you don’t want to share your ice cream, then I’ll just buy my own.”

 

“Yeah do that.” She ate her ice cream.

 

When she saw where he was heading, she abruptly followed him.

 

“Yah! Don’t! Don’t buy! We’ll share. Here. Here!” She panicked.

 

“No. I’ll buy my own.”

 

“No!!! My ice cream’s special. It’s one of a kind.” She bragged.

 

“Hmmm. You don’t want me to share with you right? I’ll just buy one.”

“No. No. No. Eat it.” She glared at him.

 

He smiled. ‘Jealous rabbit is dangerous’

 

“Fine.”

 

She smiled. “Good. Now eat.” She placed the ice cream in front of him.

 

He smirked. He looked at the ice cream then at her. Then, without warning, he kissed her lips.

“Hmmmm. It’s really special. One of a kind.”

“Yah!!! I said eat the ice cream, not my lips!!!”

He smirked again. “Don’t be jealous again, okay? Even though I like seeing you getting jealous, it’s not good for your heart.” He caressed her face.

 

“Psh.” She couldn’t look at his eyes or else she’ll melt.

 

 

 

 

“Let’s go. Finish your ice cream. We’re going somewhere.”

 

“It’s late. Where are we going?”

 

“just follow me.”

The city lights could be seen from above. They are now in an overlooking place.

They sat in the grass while still looking at the sky. “Waaa… The stars are beautiful.”

 

He hugged her from behind. “Happy?”

“Very.”

“Did you enjoy this day? Did this pass as your first date?”

 

“It’s more than what I’ve expected. Thank you.” She sincerely thanked him.

 

He got something from his pocket. “Give me your hand.”

 

 “Why?”

“Just give it.”

 

“Fine.”

 

He held her hand.

 

“W-what’s this Tabi?”

 

“A gift.”

 

“Gift? Why are you giving me a ring?”

 

“It’s not just a ring.” He showed his hand.

 

“I-it’s a couple ring?”

 

“Yes. So that you won’t get jealous anymore. Just show them our rings and they’ll know I’m yours.”

 

“Yah!”

 

“You’re not even denying your jealous.”

 

“Because I believe that liars go to hell.”

 

He chuckled. “Okay, there’s one more thing I wanted to say.” He said as he faced her.

 

“What is it?”

 

“Saengil chukka hamnida.”

 

“P-pardon?”

 

“It’s  twelve o’clock. It’s your birthday already. Happy birthday, my princess.” He said sincerely.

 

“T-tabi…”

 

“I wanted to be the first one to greet you on this day. Your friends still didn’t greet you right?”

 

“Yes. I forgot to check my phone.”

 

“Good.”

 

“T-thank you Tabi” She said as she was looking at their rings.

 

“Yeah.”  ‘Anything for you’

 

He tightened his hold.

 

He couldn’t understand himself now. He didn’t know why he’s doing all this kind of things, doing all the things he loathes. He vehemently disagreed for any couple things. He finds it cheesy. But here he was, wearing a couple ring  that he designed especially for them.

He didn’t want to think for now. He wanted to savor this feeling and just go with the flow.
