“Why didn’t you say earlier?”  She reprimanded.

“Tabi… You promised me!” She sulked while dragging him to go inside.

 

“You didn’t say we will go here.”

 

“But you agreed to me!” She said while tugging his arm.

 

“But you didn’t mention we will specifically go here. Wait, are you making fun of me princess?”

 

“What? Why will I do that?” She feigned innocence.

 

He looked at her. “It’s because you’re making me go there. But no I will not and that’s final.”

 

“Tabi~ Please~”

 

He still remained in his position.

 

“Tabi~ Tabi~ I want to go there.”

 

“No.”

 

“Please Tabi~”

 

“That is a pathetic place to go. I will never go there” He said with conviction.

 

Her lips twitched. “F-fine. I can’t force you if you didn’t really want, right? I mean who am I to impose such things?  We’re not even married yet so how can I dictate you.  Let’s just go home. It’s getting late.” She said then walked away from that place.

 

 

‘She’s using reverse psychology on me now.’ He tsked.

 

He ran after her and held her hand. “Fine, fine. Let’s go.”

 

“No. I-it’s okay. We’ll just go home.”

 

He sighed. “I said let’s go. I’m going with you.”

 

“You don’t have to. It’s not as if I’m forcing you.” She pouted.

 

“I’m going on my own will.”

 

“But you said you will not go there ever.”

 

“I changed my mind. Let’s go.” He said then dragged her.

 

When they were finally inside, she couldn’t help but to smile secretly. ‘Gotcha’

 

 

 “Keep in mind that this is the first and last time I will go here.”

“Tabi~ You’re such a killjoy!”

They were now inside the amusement park. Yes, you read it right – they are in an amusement park. And yes, the great Choi Seunghyun is in an amusement park right now. Thanks to the princess in the flesh.

 

 

“Because I don’t want to. I’m just accompanying you here. Go ride all you want.” He said as he was seating in a bench in the middle of the amusement park.

 

 

“But Tabi~ how will you enjoy here if you’re not riding anything?”

 

“I’m fine.” He said nonchalantly.

 

“Tsk. Oh wait Tabi let’s go there.” She said excitedly and ran.

 

 

He sighed. He stood up and ran after her.

 

 

“Aigoo~ so cute.” She said as she looked at the stuff toys.

 

 

“Sir, why don’t you try shooting it for your girlfriend?” The ahjumma said.

 

“No thanks.”

 

She looked at him pleadingly.

 

“No and that’s final.” He said then abruptly left the stall.

 

“Keke. He’s not so fond of this ahjumma. Wait Tabi!”  She ran after him.

 

She sighed. “ Cold mode on’

 

 

 

They were walking in the amusement park.  Lots of couple was present. They were wearing couple things, be it couple shirt, couple jacket and even couple bunny ears.

 

She sighed.

 

“Don’t ever expect me to wear that useless craps. It hurts my eyes just by seeing them.” He warned as he saw her eyeing the couple things.

 

“Yeah, yeah. I know that.”

 

“And don’t give me that pout. I won’t be persuaded by that.”

 

“Who says I want us to wear that?”

 

He looked at her. “I know you. Just don’t. I don’t do those cheesy things.”

 

“Hmp. Cold mode still on. Tsk.” She mumbled.

 

“What are you saying?”

“Tabi please! This is the last ride! I want you to ride with me.”

 

“I said no.”

 

“Tabi~”

 

“No. No.  and lastly no.”

 

“Wae! You came with me but you didn’t ride anything. This is my only request from you and you’re still stubborn.”

 

“Can’t you understand? I don’t want. Let’s go home.” He started dragging her outside.

 

No. She won’t allow him to go just like that. She reserved this ride as the last one because it’s good to ride it at night. She will convince him no matter what.

 

 

“Tabi! No. I won’t go home with you. If you’re still stubborn on not riding anything then fine! I thought you’re trying to comfort me but you’re giving me troubles.” With that said, she walked out and went in line.

 

“Arggh. That stubborn princess.” He ruffled his hair.

 

“Boy, you should go after her. She just wants to be with you. Don’t be so heartless to the poor child.” The ahjussi said beside him.

 

He was observing the couple not long ago and he witnessed their interactions.  He couldn’t help but to pity the runaway lady.

 

Seunghyun didn’t say anything but heed his instructions. He followed Dara.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She was waiting for her turn with a scowl on her face.

 

When it was finally her turn, the operator asked her as he was putting her inside.

 

“Alone miss?” He smiled seductively.

 

She was about to say yes when Seunghyun sat beside her.

 

“No. She’s with me.” He said then glared at him.

 

 

“A-ah okay sir.” He nervously said then locked the compartment.

 

 

 

“What are you doing here?” She glared at him.

 

He remained silent.

 

“I thought you don’t want this childish ride huh?”

 

Still, he remained quiet.

 

“You know I’m not pressuring you. I’m fine riding this ferris wheel all by myself. I can still enjoy it alone right?!” She said sarcastically.

 

After a few minutes, the ferris wheel started to move.

 

“What changed your mind? I thought once the great Seunghyun decided on something; no one can change his mind?”  She said as she faced him.

 

Again, he didn’t say anything. He just looked straight ahead.

 

“So now you’re giving me the silent treatment? You know if you’re not going to talk to me then you shouldn’t ride with me in the first-“

 

“I’m afraid of heights”

 

“-place. Wait what?!” She shrieked.

 

“Since little, I never went to this place because I’m afraid of heights.” He said as he was clutching safety handle.

 

“W-what? That’s why you’re not riding anything?” She said.

 

“Yes.”

 

“Why didn’t you say earlier?”  She reprimanded.

 

“I thought you’re observant enough to know.” He said sarcastically.

 

“I-I don’t know. I-I’m sorry.”

 

“What else can I do? I’m here now. I’ll just bear with it. Don’t mind me. Just enjoy the view.”

 

She looked at him. She was feeling guilty. She didn’t know there was a reason behind his stubbornness. She thought he was just a pain in the . He sacrificed enough for her. He accompanied her in this childish place but still, she felt like she was an ungrateful b*tch. And now, seeing him as he was sitting stiffly, she couldn’t help but feel extremely guilty. It’s all her fault.

‘I should do something about it.’

 

Meanwhile, Seunghyun was trying his best to keep his composure. ‘When will this ride stop?’

He was clutching the handle nervously. Never in his lifetime could he imagine riding this thing. He detested this since he was young. He never went to this place for this is his personal nightmare.

He was close to hyperventilating. ‘You can do it Seunghyun. Bear a little more.’

He was looking straight ahead when he heard her call his name.

“Tabi~”

 

“What.” He said, not looking at her.

 

“Tabi.”

 

“What?!”

 

“Tabi, look at me.” She said.

 

“Wha-“ He turned to face her but his sentence got cut when he felt her soft lips on him.

 

She cupped his face to deepen the kiss. This is the only way she knew to lessen his fear.

Upon realizing what was happening, he returned the kiss. He kissed her just as she kissed him.

He pulled her closer to him. He wanted to drown all his surroundings.  He wanted to forget where he was in the first place. Slowly, she wounded her arms on his neck.

With his fear forgotten, they kissed as the ferris wheel move.

After a few seconds, he cut the kiss.

Breathing raggedly, he asked her. “ Why did you do that?” He said as he rested his head on her neck.

 

“It’s the only way I know to ease my guilt. Are you okay now?” She eyed him. She brushed the strands of hair that was covering his face.

 

“Yeah. Thanks to you.” He cooed.

 

“Are you sure?”

 

“Can I still kiss you if I’m not?”

 

“Y-yeah. Just this time. It’s my fault so I’m paying for it.”

 

He chuckled. “So this is your punishment for yourself? You’re letting me kiss you any time I want? In this ride?”

 

“Y-yeah… I guess.” She abruptly looked away.

 

“Then I’m taking all the opportunity.”

 

After he said that, he kissed her again. She kissed him back with equal passion.

 

Thanks to her, he didn’t feel his fear anymore. His fears were drowned by her delicious kisses.
