Vista Hotel

After informing Sunye and JYP, the girls quickly left for Vista Hotel. It didn’t take long for Sohee and Yoobin to reach the hotel where Jiyong and Seunghyun were staying. However when they reached the lobby, Yoobin turned nervous.

Yoobin: Mandoo yah, I don’t think it’s a good idea that I’m here.

SH: Unnie, what’s wrong, why are you changing your mind?

Yoobin: Why don’t you call Jiyong and asked how is Seunghyun doing?

SH: Unnie, we’re here anyway. Let’s just go up and see them. We’ll leave as soon as we find out Seunghyun oppa is fine, ok?

Yoobin did not answer. The maknae just pulled her unnie’s arm into the elevator. Sohee knew that her unnie very much wanted to meet Seunghyun but because she was hurt before, her pride is more fragile than one could ever imagine of. However, she knew that for her unnie to just ignore that Seunghyun oppa his sick condition, it’s practically impossible. Sohee needs to be the catalyst to make the healing go faster.

When they finally reached in front of the room, Yoobin stopped and shook her head.

Yoobin: Sohee ah, I can’t do this. Why don’t you go inside? I‘ll wait for you at the lobby, arraso?

SH: (She looked into her unnie’s eyes, and puller her unnie’s hair bangs and tucked it to the side of her ears.) Unnie, don’t lie to me. I am not asking you to be together with him or to even accept his love. I am just asking you to do what your heart desires at this moment.

Yoobin: And what might that be? (She looked at her dear dongsaeng...)

SH: You, my dear unnie clearly wanted to take care of him and be there for him at this moment. Why don’t you do just that? What comes after don’t need to affect you now, for we all know he is going back to Korea soon.

First, Yoobin was in awe at how Sohee spoke up her opinion for her maturity was clearly reflected. Second, she was more convinced that visiting Seunghyun couldn’t be that bad after all. Third, he is after all someone who she grew up with and someone she sincerely cares for. Yoobin nodded at Sohee in understanding and the maknae pressed the bell.

The door was opened by a young Caucasian woman. Sohee eyes grew big. Yoobin at the back looks lost.  Jiyong walk to the door and quickly reassured the girls that that was the hotel staff, and there is a doctor tending to Seunghyun. The girls waited by the side for the doctor to do his job. Once he was done examining Seunghyun, he prescribed some medications.

Dr Chase: I think he was out in the cold for too long, therefore his body immunity became low and thus the flu took over. But no worries, I’ve written a prescription here. You may get it at any pharmacy. With lots of rest and fluids he should be good in no time. But do monitor his fever okay.

Jiyong and the girls thanked the hotel staff and doctor before returning the attention back to Seunghyun. Yoobin quickly stood up and said.

Yoobin: Give me the prescription; I can go to the 24hour pharmacy nearby. You guys can look after him here.

SH: I’ll accompany you.

GD: Yoobin noona it’s not safe for you to go to the pharmacy alone. It’s still quite dark right?

Yoobin: The sun will be up pretty soon.

GD: Why not I go to the pharmacy with Sohee, then we could get some packed breakfast for you as well. You just need to stay here and look after hyung.

Yoobin: Are you trying to leave me here so both of you can go on a date?

SH: Unnie!

Yoobin: Arraso, arraso... but don’t be too late ok. He needs his medicines.

The unofficially yet obvious couple quickly make their way out of the room.

Yoobin’s POV

I called the housekeeping for a small basin, ice and extra towel. I actually wanted to reduce Seunghyun’s fever, so I decided to do some tepid sponging. I was looking at Seunghyun until I realized that who was going to help me undress Seunghyun’s top. He was still in jeans, a black wife beater and a hooded jacket.

I blushed to myself and smacked my forehead. I was wondering how his abs behind those clothes that wrapped his body is. For some reason my cheeks was so flushed and warm. ‘Kim Yoobin, get rid of those lustful thought!’ she told herself.

After soaking the small towels in ice water, she seats herself at the right side of the bed. Meticulously and carefully ping his jacket, she couldn’t help but giggled to herself. Thankfully Seunghyun was semi conscious. He was moving around in the bed so much that it made her job more difficult to remove his jacket. When she was able to remove his right arm from the sleeve, she was actually worried because his body was so hot. Eventually the jacket was totally removed. She then proceeded to remove the wife beater. He rolled it up and the lifted it out from Seunghyun’s head. After which she couldn’t help but admire his set of abs. It reminded her of chocolates.

Gently she used her fingers to trace his abs and giggled to herself. She continued until, he started to pull the blanket up because he was shivering. Yoobin quickly sponge him. Quickly yet gently. He was very drowsy, so turning him was a chore.

When she pulled his body up because she wanted to sponge his back, she heard someone gasped.

They are back

SH/GD: Oh My God!

SH: Unnie, what are you trying to do?

Yoobin: oh.... no nothing...I only.... shower...eh no...  I only wanted to sponge him to reduce his temperature. (Yoobin stutters nervously.)

GD: Noona, we only left you for a while and you couldn’t resist touching hyung. Lucky hyung! (He teased. )

Sohee and Jiyong broke into laughter. Yoobin just tried to ignore the two fools. However the couple was thoughtful enough to get some porridge from a Chinese restaurant and well as some waffles from a nearby diner.

GD: Noona, the pharmacist said hyung needs to eat first before the meds. Could you please feed him the porridge?

Yoobin: Wei... you could do it too you know. Beside I already sponged him so now I am tired. You could do it.

GD: Noona.... please. I bought you waffles. Ok I’ll wake hyung up, and sit him up but you do the feeding, arraso?

SH: Unnie, (the maknae begs.)... Come on.

Yoobin: You better wake him up and sit him up properly.

Jiyong shook his hyung strongly.

Yoobin: Jiyong ah, are you trying to kill him. He is sick for goodness sake. Couldn’t you be gentler?

GD: Noona, it will take me hours to wake hyung up if I try to do it gently. If you don’t believe me why don’t you try?

Yoobin: (She went beside the sick and squirming Seunghyun and whispered in his ears and gently rubs his shoulder.) Oppa...  oppa... oppa... it’s me. Come sit up! You need to eat something before I could give you your meds. Oppa!

Seunghyun: (He blinked several time. He thought he saw his sweetheart Binnie in front of him but he assumes it was just a dream.) No... I am not hungry.

Yoobin continued to wake him up gently.

GD: Noona, it will be nightfall when he is awake.

Both Yoobin and Sohee turned and glared at him. Jiyong shrugged and apologized. Eventually Seunghyun stirred up and was awakened.

Seunghyun: (He couldn’t believe what his eyes are seeing.) Binnie, what are you doing here? I thought we will meet for lunch?

GD: Hyung, you are sick! (He continued the story to make his hyung understand.)

Seunghyun: Thank you Ji and thank you Binnie and Sohee too.

Yoobin: No worries oppa, since you are more alert, please eat the porridge. You need to eat those before the medicine. Sohee, we should leave already, the boys need to rest.

GD: (He quickly eyed Seunghyun.) But noona, hyung is still unwell, who is going to feed him.

Seunghyun instantly gets the gist and started groaning of body aches. Sohee just watched her boyfriend’s mischief and shook her head.

Yoobin: Arraso, arraso. I will feed him.

She gently placed the porridge by the bedside and adjusted Seunghyun by placing a pillow behind him. Seunghyun was very very very happy. He hadn’t been this close to Yoobin for so long. He stared at her as she blows the hot steam of the porridge before feeding him. Yoobin did not dare to lift her eyes and look at him.

He on the other hand, amidst his sick condition couldn’t help but admires Yoobin’s beauty. Her tanned skin makes her hair shimmer as the sun slowly crept up the room. It was silence between them. The only sound was the cartoon and Jiyong’s and Sohee’s laughter.

Seunghyun breaks the silence.

Seunghyun: Binnie, I am sorry I am not that well to go out with you today, but I am thankful you are here beside me.

Yoobin: Don’t worry oppa, just focus on getting well arraso. Besides I am just doing Jiyong a favour. He didn’t know what to do when you fell ill just now.

Seunghyun: Oh... (He was disappointed with her answer.)

Seunghyun’s phone suddenly rang. He didn’t recognize the number but still picked it up.

Seunghyun: Yoebseyo!

Jajeoong: Seunghyun ah, I thought I asked you to call me, how come I didn’t hear from you?

Seunghyun: Oh hyung, mianhe I suddenly had a fever. So I’m stuck in the hotel.

Yoobin: Who called you this early?

Before Seunghyun could answer,

Jaejoong: Is that Yoobin?

Seunghyun: Yes hyung, she came to look after me. (He doesn’t like showing off, but he couldn’t help but said that out loud to Jaejoong after which he turned to Yoobin and said)... Its Jaejoong hyung.

Jaejoong: Oh... (Jaejoong gritted his teeth, although he and Yoobin are just friends, he couldn’t help but felt extremely jealous.) How come you are sick? Which hotel are you staying at; maybe I could come and visit.

Seunghyun :( This time he wanted to be selfish, he started coughing so that he doesn’t have to answer.)

Yoobin grabs the phone:

Yoobin: Jaejoong oppa, mianhe can you call back later; I am feeding this sick fellow here his breakfast. He needs to eat his meds as soon as possible. I will make sure he will call you later okay?

Jaejoong: Yes... I understand. (He hung up the phone with a big frown on his face.)

Love is in the air

In the suites living room, Sohee and Jiyong were enjoying breakfast and watching cartoon. Sohee misses snuggling up with her boyfriend. She misses his embrace.

GD: I miss you baby girl.

SH: I miss you too oppa. I wish you could stay here longer.

GD: I wished too...

SH: Gwencana oppa, we’ll be going back to Korea for some stuff in 2 months time. We could meet again. I am sorry if I wasn’t a good girlfriend. I know I am always far from you, but please know I pray for you every step of the way and that I love you very much.

GD: (He was so touched, that he teared up.) I love you too mandoo yah.

Yoobin was helping Seunghyun up, he wanted to sit and watch television in the living room. As they were passing through the door that separates the bedroom and living room, the two gasped at Jiyong and Sohee kissing. It was their turn to exclaim...

Yoobin/Seunghyun: Oh My God!

Jiyong and Sohee quickly break the kiss away. Yoobin gently seated Seunghyun down on the other sofa.

Yoobin: Mandoo ah, I haven’t yet kissed anyone and you are already kissing Jiyong. Just admit it already that you are dating!

Seunghyun: (He was shocked but happy at the same time to hear that from Yoobin. He quickly .) Are you jealous, want me to kiss you?

He earned himself a smack on his head.

Seunghyun: Ouch! Jiyong ah, why are you keeping it a secret? It was so obvious even BB and WG know.

Yoobin: That’s right!

GD: It’s good if you all know. But I think let’s just leave it at that.

Sohee: Unnie, Seunghyun oppa, you know how much I treasure my privacy. If you all know already, then I am happy if you could just pretend not knowing will you... pretty please.

Yoobin: Arraso, I’m sure you know what you are doing. But do know I’m here for you.

The four of them continued watching television until they eventually fall asleep on the sofa. One sofa was where Jiyong was sleeping as he hugs Sohee and the other sofa was where Seunghyun was sleeping on Yoobins lap.

Blissful indeed.... that was the picture before the phone rang...
