Wonder Girls began touring with the Jonas Brothers for many months. They have decided to go on tour instead of releasing new album because they need to learn the language and culture better before seeping in slowly with their music. Although now it’s been 1 year and a half with no new song except for a song they gave to their fans, WG has been busy with world tour and even fashion events. They have lost quite a number of fans in Korea but they are holding on strong. Life hasn’t been naturally a bed of roses but they stick well together. Vocally they have improved and physically they are more womanly and pretty. Emotionally... oh well let’s just say they are surviving. (A/n I do love Lim but I just want Sunmi in this story.)

While they were in the states, they were alarmed by the news of DBSK break out. Yoobin especially was so shocked. All this while she has been in contact with Jaejoong but never did once he mentioned about his troubles. For that she scolds herself for not being a worthy friend. Although they couldn’t meet many times, she ensures that she is always reachable to him. They friendship grew stronger. Yup... just friendship.

When JYJ decided to produce an English album, they had to come to the states quite a number of times and spend some weeks there. Whenever they were in New York, Yoobin and he would go out for a meal, sometimes just the two of them and sometimes with their members. They have however been very careful not to go to places frequented by Koreans to avoid unnecessary trouble.

One fateful night, JYJ was really craving for Korean food. They kept on pestering Yoobin to bring them out to eat. Yoobin eventually relented because she knew exactly how they were feeling. She was grateful that JYP and their leader Sunye understand. However to avoid major drama, it was advised that they go out in groups. Leader and 4D Sunmi had something on so they couldn’t join. Yeeun and Sohee tagged along with their unnie to meet their sunbaenims.

They went to a Korean restaurant in K Town. They managed to get a more secluded seat however they still have to make do with the seats given. They knew that some eyes were on them. However it didn’t really bother them that much because they are open about being friends. However they knew gossip is one thing that can create unsubstantiated news. So they were very wary of their actions.

All of them tried to converse in English but eventually broke into laughter’s because of Jaejoong's and Junsu’s English. Sohee was very understanding and she encouraged Junsu to not be shy and perservere in trying to master that language. For that Junsu was grateful. Yeeun and Yoochun had the easiest time because both had a good grasps of the language. As for Yoobin and Jaejoong they only speak in Korean and only when needed. Other than that they were seriously having conversation through their eyes and mind. This simple dinner didn’t go unnoticed. Somewhere in the restaurants there were a camera recording the guys and girls. Once dinner ended, they go on their separate ways. One action, just one action by Jaejoong was about to turn their life around. When they were about to leave the restaurant, Jaejoong pinched Yoobins nose and she hit lightly in the arm. All these were recorded.

They next day, the Korean entertainment industry that has been following the court case between DBSK AND SME were shaken by the news that WG members are dating JYJ. Picture of them laughing and enjoying a good meal surfaces on the internet. However one picture was blew up in many front cover of newspapers and magazines. The one that shows Jaejoong pinch as wells as Yoobin’s blushing. Netizens grew crazy. However the most surprising reaction was from Cassies. They actually loved the news. There were many responses in the internet, positive ones especially.

Back in their apartment, Seungri who have just watched the news and is reading the news paper couldn’t help but stare at the pictures. For some reason he was glad Sunmi weren’t in it. However he still couldn’t stomach the news.

TOP: Booooo! Maknae, why are you stoning!

Seungri: Oh... hey hyung. How come I didn’t hear you coming in?

Jiyong who was at the kitchen counter laughed out loud.

GD: Wei ... why do you look so shocked? Were you looking through some o stuffs?

Seungri just gave out the fakest laughter he could afford.

Seungri: Nothing hyungs. I was just thinking that ... (before he could finish his sentence, Seunghyun took the papers from his hand and stared hard at the front page.)

Seunghyun threw the paper down on the table and went in his room before slamming the door. Jiyong quickly takes a look at the paper. He wasn’t particularly happy to see Sohee sat near Junsu but yes, he knew the news already for Sohee had informed him of them having meals together. Jiyong quickly ran to his room and called his mandoo.

GD: Hey babe, sorry to disturb your sleep sweetheart.

SH: No dear it’s okay, don’t worry, are you alright? You sound troubled.

GD: (GD explained to Sohee all the things he knew... he of course didn’t include Seunghyuns reactions.) ... you know what this means babe.

SH: Oh dear, it was just a meal. I’m shocked it got to this. Arraso oppa I will inform Yoobin unnie. Damage control starts now. I’ll talk to you later okay.

GD: Mandoo yar...

SH: Yes oppa... why?

GD: Next time don’t seat next to Junsu please... (He suggested subtly). I get jealous!

SH: Uuuwahhh, I didn’t know my love could be that jealous. Arraso sweetheart, I won’t do it again.

WG Dorm US

The WG already laid out their damage control plan. Yoobin was freaking out. But thanks to her leader and JYP, she felt more at ease.

Yoobin: Mianhe Sunye, sorry JY. I didn’t mean to trouble you.

JYP: Hey ... look at me! Yoobin yong, you don’t have to apologize. You were just having dinner with your good friends. There is nothing wrong with that. Arraso!

Sunye: Yes unnie, besides you guys went as a group, so I don’t think it should even be a great deal.

Yoobin: But I’m worried about antis.

Sunye: You sure you have more antis? From the look of it Cassies seems to like you.

Yoobin couldn’t help but hit the leader softly in the arm.

JYP: We’ll release a statement soon. Lest just be honest, there is nothing to hide.

JYP Official Statement

We thank you for always been on the lookout for WG even though they are not in Korea at the moment. On the date when the pictures were taken, it is true that JYJ together with WGs Yoobin, Yeeun and Sohee went out for a meal at Korean BDC restaurant in K Town New York. Yoobin and Jaejoong were from the same elementary school therefore they have always being great friends. They are close colleagues too. Jaejoong has always been a close sunbae to the WG. Since JYJ are busy recording their album here, Jaejoong had asked the girls to bring them to eat Korean food because it’s hard for them not to eat rice and kimchi. So the juniors just wanted to help out their sunbae. I hope this clarify all your doubts.

With that statement, the Korean media has been keeping a close watch on them. Their news is everywhere. It comes to a point where it was torturous for Seunghyun. Hmmmmm why should it be that way??

Seunghyun’s POV

“All this time, I didn’t receive any news from her nor any messages or calls. Suddenly came this horrible news. I should be the one having dinner with her. I should be the one pinching her cute nose. I should be the one to observe her blush. I should be the one to call her and ask her out for a meal. I should be the one! “

Since WGs left for the states, Seunghyun was living in regret. He regretted letting her go. He regretted not being with her. He regretted patching up with Minah. Shortly after WG left, he ended his relationship once and for all with Minah. He then knew that he wants Yoobin. He tried to contact her but she didn’t pick up his calls or even reply his emails. He thought that maybe he is the one destined to do the waiting. He was up for that, after all he was the one who forgot about her. All he ever did was work, work and take up more work. He filmed drama and movies. He recorded BB first sub unit and continue occupying his time with work. All this was to wait for the time when WG come home to Korea. Now with this news all he could ever feel is tons of regret.

He regretted not going after her. He regretted waiting around and not taking any actions. He regretted that he had failed to heal Yoobin’s heart. But... he does not want to regret anymore.
