A whole week of school was almost done, we just needed to get over with Friday. Obviously everyone was excited and couldn’t wait ‘til school ends. But not me.

Tomorrow was the day, the day Onew was going to leave. The day I live and continue with my life all by myself. Thinking of it seemed very lonely but I can’t control Onew, he makes his own decisions.

I came in the school, head down and very depressed. It seemed that today wasn’t such a good day, Jieun ‘nor Sooyeon is here and I had to see such a heartless act.

I was walking down the hallway, going to my first period. But when I saw Luhan trip that helpless girl and not even bother to help her up or say sorry, I just had to stop.

I immediately ran up to the girl and held my hand down, “Here, let me help you up.”

“Thank you, but you didn’t have to do that. I can manage.” The girl softly whispered.

“What are you saying? I insist on helping you, and what’s the matter with that Luhan guy. He didn’t bother helping you or say sorry.”

“Oh, you didn’t know? Luhan’s always cold towards girls, always playing with them and always breaking their hearts. No one really knows the reason why, well except EXO. But yeah, that’s why he didn’t do anything.” The girl smiled despite on what happened and held up a hand.  “By the way, I’m Miyoung. What’s your name?”

“I’m Hyunmi, nice to meet you.”

The bell rang signaling that morning classes was about to start, “Well, I guess I got to go now. Bye Miyoung.” I waved goodbye to a possible new friend and entered my classroom.

I organized my things on my desk not noticing our teacher coming in. Everyone greeted while Mr. Lee started the lesson for the day. I started writing notes on all the important things he said, until he mentioned that we were having a project.

“Now class, this is a very important project. So I have decided to put you in partners, 2 people per group. Okay? I wrote down all your names on a piece of paper and I’ll just pick random people.”

Please be someone nice! Please be someone nice!

“Miss Park Hyunmi and… Mr. Luhan. You guys are partners, please come up and get a rubric.”

Wow, I get the women hater. I am so lucky. -___________-

“The topic of this project is researching about the top clothing lines in the business. All the requirements are in the rubric you have all gotten. Have fun and good luck, class dismissed.”

I stood up planning on what to say to Luhan, “So, I guess we’re partners. When do you want do the project?”

“You can do it yourself, I’m busy all the time. Make sure it’s good I don’t want a bad mark.”

“BWOH? I’ll do it myself? If you don’t want to work with me, then don’t! I’m telling Mr. Lee we’re doing the project separately.”

“Don’t even try, he won’t let us.”

“Then you have no choice but to work with me. Because I don’t want to put all my effort on this project and just give you free credit. So you’re helping, whether you like it or not.” I walked out of the room, satisfied on what I said.

It was Saturday morning, and it was Onew’s departure. I couldn’t help it but to feel sad but I can’t show Onew how helpless I can be. I wanted him not to worry about me and to just continue with his life.

“Okay Hyunmi-ah, I guess this is it. Take care of yourself and don’t forget to call your mom all the time. Have fun in school, arraso?” Onew smiled, taking his baggage and was about to walk out of the door.

But I immediately hugged him from the back and said, “I’ll miss you Onew oppa, even though we’ve only met not long ago you already felt like a brother to me. I hope you don’t forget about me.”

Onew turned around, wrapping his arms around me. “Of course I won’t forget you, you’re like my own dongsaeng.”

The clock struck 12, showing that Onew was about to miss his train ride back to Gyeonggi-do.

“Well, I guess we I have to go now. I sure don’t want to be late.”

“Okay oppa, bye!” I watched Onew get in the taxi cab but before he closed the door I yelled, “YOU BETTER VISIT, OR ELSE!”

Onew chuckled and nodded before disappearing in the cab.

So  I guess this it, a life all by myself. But I shouldn’t be sad, right? At least I get freedom. YEAH! Maybe I’ll hang out with Sooyeon and Jieun today. 

Luhan’s P.O.V

“Hey guys! Remember about the dare from yesterday? Oh my gosh, that was too good! And I can’t believe that any girl can talk to Luhan hyung like that.”

“Shut up Kai! I told you guys that the dare wasn’t a good idea. I looked like an idiot back there.” Luhan muttered.

“We just wanted you to accept girls properly. We’re worried about you! We don’t want you to be forever alone.”

“Guys, listen to me. I Xi Luhan, will never, in my life will fall in love with a girl. Okay? You guys know why I’m like this, so don’t even try.”

“Aah, the story about Luhan’s parents. The story that’s in the banned section of every person’s brain.”
