Chocolate Mint, #2: Pumpkin Pie - [0]
N.A.P oneshots! The sun sets, painting the sky in a beautiful color in front of a pair of guys sitting in a park bench for two. The taller body can be seen leaning into another much smaller figure next to it, both stay in silent, staring into the view in front of them.
One of the guys lets out a faint sigh but soon a shot of warmth creeps inside of him when he senses a hand on top of his, holding his very own fragile and thin hand, their fingers tangled with each others.
“So when’s your flight tomorrow?”
“7 AM. Are you sure you can’t be there at all?”
“I’m sorry. I’ll visit you as soon as possible.”
“That’s okay.”

Niel breathes in the air as soon as his feet got off the plane. Everything feels different than Korea - in both good and bad way - and he feels fright inside of him on the unknown land. A shot of relief hits him when he looks to the side and he sees the figure of his mother, happiness written on her face upon the arrival on the new land, and Niel no longer feels scared. At least, not that much.
Looking out the window, on their way to the place where they will live in for the next four years, Niel only has one name in his mind - Byunghun. It’s not easy to leave his loved one, who has been with him through the tough times for the last couple of years, to travel to a completely new place. He has worries and concerns running through his mind, checking his phone every now and then to check on the possibility of the older guy leaving him a message or two, only to keep disappointing himself at the lack of notification in it.
“We’ll stop for a bit for coffee, Niel.”
The voice of his step-dad, the reason why he had to ditch all the life he has in Korea, brings him back to reality and he nods, not caring whether it can be seen or not. The guy keeps his blank expression, not having anything else inside his brain other than his boyfriend miles away from him. He enters the noisy, chaotic coffee shop and yet it doesn’t help him at all in getting rid of a specific thought inside him. That is until the voice of the barista snaps him out of his daydream.
“Hey, Daniel. Good to see you again.”
He knows the voice way too well.
It’s Minsoo.
