Lights off. Two tall bodies on the same bed.

The taller guy lays on his back, with his arm wrapped around the slightly shorter guy.

One body moves, his eyes keep stealing glances at the other who has his eyes shut tight already.

10:16 pm

"He fell asleep already? Pabo.."

The thick lips produces a small pout while his hand rests lazily on the other's waist.

10:25 pm

Shift. Shift again. Shift. Shift.

"Daniel, sleep."

"I can't."

"What is it? Are you not sleepy yet? Wait in here okay? I'll get you a warm milk."

The taller pulls away and gives the other a sweet smile despite his biggest desire is just to sleep and get enough rest. But what can he do when he loves the other too much? He walks lazily to the kitchen to make a glass of warm milk for his boyfriend while the other sighs heavily on the bed, and mumbles softly for no one but himself to hear.

"That's not it."

10:28 pm

"Here's your warm milk, Daniel-ah.."

Glares. Grabs. The glass moves to a thin hand, the thick lips pressed against the glass, the boy gulps his milk fast while still glaring at his clueless boyfriend, who just shrughs it off and goes back to the bed.

10:45 pm

Pokes. Pokes. Pokes on the cheek. On the chest. On the lips. More on the cheek.

"What now, Daniel?" Slightly annoyed, with a guilt followed.

Calm down, Minsoo. Maybe he just needs someone to accompany him. Maybe he wants to talk.

"I can't sleep. Something is missing."

"Ah, I sent your blanket to the la--"

"No, not my blanket. Something is missing from you."

"Do you want me to sing you a lullaby?"

"N--"

And he starts singing. The older starts singing. As much as Niel really loves his boyfriend, he knows they put Minsoo as the rapper for a reason. No, its not bad at all. Its just not really that kind of voice that can take you to sleep. But he smiles at the end, at least his boyfriend tries.

But that's not it.

The song is not even finished, but the older falls deep into the dream land already. His body is now facing Niel, with his arms holding Niel close to his chest. His heartbeat. The heartbeat that Minsoo once told him beating fast just for him. This usually brings Niel to sleep in no time but still. Niel finds himself struggling out of Minsoo's embrace.

Something is still off.

10:58 pm

"Ahn Daniel, really, I love you, but I'm tired, can we sleep?"

"I can't."

"What is it?"

Minsoo scans their surrounding. Clothes, check. Blanket, check. Milk, check.

Their bodies close to each other, check. Legs tangled, check. What's missing?

"Do you need a bed time story?

"Am I five?"

"Do you need more lul--"

"Don't."

"Do you miss your family?

"Yes, but that's not it."

"Do you want me to sleep on the couch?"

"You forgot my goodnight kiss, pabo."

"....."

"Kiss me or I'll be the one who sleeps on the couch."

The older leans closer and presses his lips against the thick lips while still trying so hard to process what is currently going on. He wants to sleep. He wants to laugh. He wants to sigh. But in the end he just smiles, he smiles through the deep kiss that he and the younger share, he smiles at the silliness of his boyfriend.

"Why are you smiling?"

"Gwenchana. I think I'll sleep even better now."
