{BGM: G.NA - Summer Star}

It had been a week and a half since the first day three of us arrived at the resort, and tonight was the first night that I got the chance to actually relax both my mind and body from studying and attending business meetings. 

The view right in front of me and above are all that I've been asking for; they're beautiful, breathtaking, and serene. The night sky was the black canvas to the starry dust twinkling at their very best. The sound of the waves crashing against each other was music to my ears, and the warm yet cool breeze flowing around me was the air that I longed for.

“Not sleeping?” 

I lifted my head and found Chanyeol strolling towards me in his wheelchair with a smile on his face, there were so many emotions playing in his eyes. Despite how he looked, his gentle mellow voice calmed all of my anxiety down, and my heart couldn't help it but skipped a beat. I didn't want to look away, but I had to force myself to change my line of sight to the beach not far from us “No, not yet; probably because the stars are calling me.” I giggled nervously. 

“Eunmi," He called softly.

I hummed a short tune.

He took a deep breath for a start, “Remember last time when I asked you whether if it was wrong to have feelings for you?”

This feels like a deja vu, but I nodded my head nonetheless “I know we never talked about what happened after that, but after we kissed, I couldn't stop myself from thinking about you. Every day and night, I argue and asked myself; if it was really wrong to have feelings for you and what the consequences would be if you don't accept my heart. But then I realized that nothing would work if I don’t try and be straightforward with you. I understand if you don’t return my feelings, but I need to tell you this. I need you to wait, for me. If you can't give me the answer, I’ll keep waiting till you realize your feelings towards me.”

He sighed “And I need you to know this because – "

An annoyingly familiar voice interrupted their moment, “Eunmi!” The said person panted tiredly whilst having one knee down on the wooden floor of the balcony “Do you know how long I’ve been searching for you?” He said out of breath.

I scowled at the sight. Why is Baekhyun here? I mentally drilled a hole into his head. He had to ruined the moment Chanyeol and I were sharing. What does he want? I'm so confused.

“I have been meaning to ask you this, Eunmi,” Baekhyun said.

Suddenly, he pulled out a small velvet box out of the pocket of his jeans, he lifted the cover with a smile “Will you marry me, Kang EunMi?” Then out o
