Talking it out?
Everything Happens For a Reason
At least for the day. The next day L.Joe called, and decideding that running away form my problems wasn't going to solve anything, I picked up.
"Hello?"
"Suzy?"
"Yes. What is it?"
"Can we talk?"
"I have nothing to say."
"I do. It won't take long."
"Fine, let's meet at the coffee shop."
"Okay."
AT THE COFFEE SHOP
I walked in and saw L.joe sitting at a table waiting for me. I walked over and sat across from him.
L.Joe POV
I saw her walk in and take a seat across from me.
"It looks like you lost weight. Are you eating reguarly, Suzy?"
"I haven't had the appitite to eat."
"Suzy, what's wrong? Why have you been ignoring me?"
I heard her scoff.
"Did you actually remember me? What happened to your fiance?" she asked coldly.
"How did you know?" I asked suprised.
"I walked in on you guys the day I went out with my friends."
"It's not what you think."
"It doesn't matter anymore. You're engaged. I don't want to ruin your relationship."
"Suzy, hear me out."
"There's no point. You're getting married. Don't forget to send me any invitation. I'm bring a friend too." she said as she got up and left.
I sat there watching her car leave. What was happening? Why is this happening to me? I lost Suzy. What do I do now?
