Sungyeol lived.
He came home from the hospital a few days later, it took more medicines to remove him from the pain. He has to keep himself on the bed because moving will not help him with the chest pain.
He’s dying. Myungsoo thought as he saw Sungyeol lying on the bed, unconscious.
As much as Myungsoo wanted to run away from the reality, he can’t. He could not.
Sungyeol woke up after a while and the first thing he said was, “Myungsoo.”
He tried to smile but ended up wincing in pain. Which breaks Myungsoo’s heart in pieces because that smile is what keeps him going on back then.
“You’ve always had such beautiful eyes.” Myungsoo whispered to Sungyeol.
He nodded a little, too tired to talk.
“I thank God for you, every day, Myungsoo.” Sungyeol said before closing his eyes back again.
A week after that, Sungyeol called Myungsoo in the middle of the night.
“Hi, Sungyeol.” Myungsoo said after picking up.
Sungyeol answered in the voice Myungsoo would fall for. “Good evening, Myungsoo. Can you come at the place where they usually held the Support Group?” Sungyeol asked.
“Yes?”
“Great. Also, if it’s not too much trouble, please prepare a eulogy.”
“What?” Myungsoo said.
“I love you.” Sungyeol said before the phone clicked off.
It took Myungsoo forever to figure out what he wanted to say.
It’s just too much words left unspoken.
